Hello.I am 25 years old woman and I had synovitis in jaw.I heat some sounds when I move my jaw and how can I reduce it?

Answered on 23rd May '24

Try to change your diet into soft food and non chew food for a month, do some heat applications in the area in front of the ear. If it doesn't settle in 2 weeks, book an appointment with dentist.

I have toothache due to cavity and I feel like that gum is also swelling so can you suggest medicine for this problem.

Male | 29

The tooth starts to ache which suggests that you may have a cavity. If you do not take care of it properly, it may go on to the neighboring teeth, thus causing the recurrence of the problem. This happens because the bacteria are attacking the affected tooth and the gum. The main thing you need to do is to avoid sweets to cut off the bacteria that are contributing to the problem. In particular, ibuprofen, an over-the-counter medicine, and sometimes a prescription, are all good options.

Sir I drink accedently chlorhexidine mouthwash little bit what should I do now please help me

Male | 20

Drinking mouthwash by accident brings concern. Chlorhexidine is strong; it may cause stomach pain, nausea, and dizziness. These effects could go away alone. Drink lots of water to dilute mouthwash. But if unwell or your issues continue, seek medical care.

In my opinion the advice given by your doctor isn't wrong and opinion from multiple doctors can lead to confusion or chaos, but if you see deterioration in your state then you can reach out again.

my 26 year old sister got her wisdom teeth out three weeks ago. Now, her cheek is swollen. Is that normal after wisdom teeth removal? Should we be worried?

Female | 26

It is normal for swelling to occur after wisdom teeth removal. This is a part of the healing. But if the swelling is severe, your sister should see her dentist or an oral surgeon for a review.

How long does a root canal last without a crown?

Male | 37

a root canal done tooth is brittle and can break easily when hard food is chewed .

so root canal will last as long as it doesnot break with pressure of hard food

by capping the tooth it will not break inspite of having hard food ( depends on quality of cap)
