Experiencing pain and tearing after sex could mean vaginismus, a condition where vaginal muscles tighten involuntarily. Ouch! It's crucial to talk to a gynecologist – they'll diagnose the issue properly.

I am a 22 year old female. I am pregnant with my first baby. I'm in my first trimester, week 5 and 1 day. I just want to know is cramping normal?
Female | 22
Cramps in early pregnancy are usual, specifically during the initial trimester. Major bodily shifts occur, making space for the baby, causing mild crampiness. You may also experience bloating or slight spotting. Stay hydrated and restful. However, if severe cramps or heavy bleeding arise, consult your gynecologist.

I usually get my period 25days after my last period this month I go it after 39days I took a test 5 days ago it says nagative I don’t know what’s wrong with me
Female | 22
If your period was supposed to come, but the test says no, don’t worry. It can happen. Stress, change in routine, or hormonal imbalance can affect your cycle this month. Sometimes, cycles change due to things like these. But remember other factors too – like thyroid problems; PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome); rapid weight loss/gain etcetera If it happens again next time – try to relax and see how you feel overall. And if it does, don’t be afraid to talk to a gynecologist.

Why do I skip my period for 7 months and get it again for 7 months without stopping
Female | 30
Not getting a period for 7 months, then bleeding continuously for 7 more months might signal hormone imbalance. Your body may fail to release eggs properly, causing irregular or absent periods. To treat this, gynecologists often prescribe birth control pills. These help regulate menstrual cycles by balancing hormones.

Last month I got periods on 13 th April and this month I didn't have my periods up till and it's 21 may today
Female | 21
If your period is overdue by nearly 40 days, it's important to consider the possibility of pregnancy if you're sexually active. Take a home pregnancy test to confirm pregnancy. If pregnancy is not the cause, other factors like stress, changes in diet or exercise, hormonal imbalances, or underlying medical conditions may be contributing to the delay.

Hi, so I had a medical abortion recently (less than 5 weeks pregnant and the transvaginal scan said the embryo couldn’t be visualised yet/ it’s also my first pregnancy). After I was administered 4 pills of Misoprostol vaginally at the hospital, I started bleeding 2 hours later but it was like a regular period (a little heavier than usual and some clots/tissue much later in the day). I’ve been reading stories about intense pain and cramping etc. but haven’t experienced any at all. I took a pain med on the first day expecting a lot of pain but all I felt was some pressure in my abdomen for a few hours and a heating pad helped. It’s been around 5 days since then (proper bleeding for 2-3 days and very light bleeding on the 4th day and spotting on the 5th day). Today I stopped bleeding. Is this normal?
Female | 29
It is quite common to get different experiences in a medical abortion. Some people face severe pain, but others do not. Nevertheless, bleeding and not feeling much pain seems to be not a big deal at the moment. Every person has a different response to the drugs. Please keep an eye on symptoms such as heavy bleeding, severe pain, or high fever and alert your gynecologist in case of any. In addition, keep a low-stress pace, rest well, and fulfil the post-abortion aftercare recommendations you were provided with.

Vaginal redness,pain and itching...
Female | 19
Your condition seems familiar described as candidiasis, which will bring such symptoms as vaginal reddening, pain, and itching. This problem is due to a vaginal infection, allergic reactions triggered by irritants such as gloves, or lack of proper hygiene. The first measures to be followed, are not to use irritants, to ensure you are comfortable, and another is to keep the area clean and dry. Visit a gynecologist if the problem persists.

i had sex 3 months ago and i have got my periods 2 times and in this month my periods are delayed by 10 days. so what's the problem
Female | 20
It's normal for periods to be slightly irregular, especially after sex. Having had periods twice since then means everything is likely fine. Stress, weight changes, or hormonal imbalances can delay periods. Take care of yourself by eating healthy foods, getting enough sleep, and staying active. If you're still worried, take a home pregnancy test to ease your mind. Don't worry too much, but if your period continues to be delayed, visit a gynecologist for advice.

Hello, it seems like you might have a vaginal infection. This can cause unusual discharge and itching. It could be due to a yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis. To relieve your symptoms, you can try over-the-counter vaginal creams or suppositories. Also, wear cotton underwear and avoid using scented products in that area. Keep the area clean and dry. If your symptoms don't improve, please visit a gynecologist.

I had a home pregnancy test and there was a faint positive line. Then 3 days later I started to see blood not as normal as my period. I thought it's implantation bleeding and it's now 5 days and the bleeding is still there. Could I have suffered a miscarriage or am I still pregnant or was I ever pregnant.
Female | 30
The gynecologist must be consulted for a comprehensive examination. Your mentioning of the situation may be an indication of a miscarriage thanks to you. Nevertheless, the best course of action remains for a physician to determine the diagnosis and to offer the right treatment.

Female | 18
You might be suffering from Polycystic Ovary Syndrome often mentioned as a possible cause of irregular or missing periods and pain in the lower abdomen area. One of the most common symptoms of PCOS is pain, as well as irregular periods. This is caused by the imbalance of estrogen and progesterone, some hormones that the ovaries produce. For the treatment of PCOS, engage in exercise, lose weight, and follow a healthy diet.

I am a 27 year old female. I have been experiencing severe abdominal pain, followed by back pains and spotting. I was recently diagnosed with with endometritis and have been on both levofloxacin and metronidazole however, neither medication has worked. I still experience pain and bleeding. I am currently taking tramacete and olfen to help manage the pain but have not yet been prescribed new medication. I have done an ultrasound which came back clear and also tested my urine which showed that there were crystals found.
Female | 27
Your severe abdominal pain, back, and spotting can be the symptoms of endometritis, which is an infection in the lining of the uterus. It is crucial to look for a new treatment since the medications you have used so far have not worked. The crystals found in your urine may mean you have kidney stones, which can also be the reason for similar symptoms. Talk to a gynecologist about these findings for further evaluation and the best course of action.

These pills can work to stop a pregnancy if the woman takes them within a specific period after intercourse. Nevertheless, it’s crucial to consult a gynecologist for appropriate advice and treatment.
