Xanthelasma - those small yellow spots appearing on eyelids. Not dangerous, just annoying. Blame it on high cholesterol levels. To get rid of them, a dermatologist can remove xanthelasma using lasers or freezing treatments. The number of sessions depends on how bad those pesky marks are. But before anything, talk to a dermatologist about the best way to treat your xanthelasma.

long time skin fungal infection
Male | 30
Keeping the infected regions clean and dry helps speed up healing. These infections happen when tiny organisms called fungi grow on your skin. They can make your skin red, itchy, and scaly. Often appear in warm and moist areas, like between your toes or in your groin. If your infection still doesn't go away, visit a dermatologist as soon as possible.

my friend literally woke up with a swollen right side of her face. she had experienced pain on her mouth. the dentist could find nothing wrong and prescribed an antibiotic with no results. her face remains swollen with no discomfot or mobility problems. what would have caused this.
Female | 54
Your friend might suffer from sialadenitis, an inflamed salivary gland condition. A blockage prevents smooth saliva flow, causing swelling and pain around the jaw. Since teeth weren't problematic, glands could be the culprit. Warm compresses and water intake might ease discomfort by promoting saliva flow. However, if swelling persists, visiting a dermatologist is advisable for assessment and potential treatment.

I have warts in my genital area what medicine should I use to fully get rid of them
Male | 21
Warts in the genital area are caused by a virus known as HPV. They might appear as little bumps and thus can cause slow to no irritation at all or discomfort. However, you can treat them with over-the-counter treatments like salicylic acid or consult a dermatologist for stronger medications to fully get rid of them. It is necessary to adhere to the directions on the medicine to the letter and not to pick or scratch the warts.

I am a 22 year old female. I have many unwanted facial hair. It started years ago but it spreading to a lot of places on my face. I also have hair on several places where women are supposed to have. Please what should I do to get rid of them.
Female | 22
It seems that you may have a condition called hirsutism, which means women develop hair in areas where men normally do. Hormonal imbalances, genetics, or polycystic ovary syndrome could be responsible for this. To solve the problem, consult with a dermatologist who can suggest treatments such as drugs to regulate hormones or laser hair removal.

Cystic acne at the age 0f 18 years indicates underlying hormonal cause like PCOS, insulin resistance etc. this can be evaluated by certain blood tests and scans. Please consult an experienced dermatologist for the same. If there is redness at the side of urethra but there is no symptoms etc. Only redness under upper lips means uretra.its redness is dangerous !??And why is there redness if I don't have any pain or irritation etc. And is this redness dangerous?
Female | 22
High redness, in the absence of any pain or irritation, is not to be seen near the urethra normally. These reddish spots may indicate inflammation or infection even if you do not have any other symptoms. Listening to your body's signals is vital. It is helpful to drink water and to keep it clean. You should visit a dermatologist if the redness continues or if you get other symptoms.

I am having severe hairfall. I have tried homeopathy and ashwagandha, but no results. What should I do??
Female | 23
Homeopathy may work for some people, but not necessarily everyone.
I will advice you to get your Trichoscpic examination done which will help in getting to the root cause of your problem. Persistent hair fall is a multifactorial condition which requires scalp lotions, some nutritional supplementation and some appropriate shampoos along with therapies. You may refer this page to find hair transplant in surat.

I am 33 years old, and I got eaching on my penis, and my penis upur skin is getting closed day by day, and now it's not opening. My penis cover is not opening. What is the issue?
Male | 33
You are likely to be enriched with a condition identified as phimosis. This is when the penis foreskin is too tight and does not pull back the head of the penis. It is this condition that stimulates you to itch and the foreskin is difficult to retract. When no preventive measures are taken, it may lead to other serious complications too. You need to see an urologist who can suggest the appropriate treatment, which may include gentle stretching exercises or circumcision.
