Swallowing broken glass pieces is scary. Small amounts might pass without causing harm, but they could still scratch your throat or stomach. If you're feeling fine, eating soft foods and drinking plenty of water may help it pass safely. However, if you experience pain, vomiting, bleeding, or difficulty swallowing, seek medical care immediately.

blood while pooping, and the part was reddish...and painfull
Male | 24
It is important to be concerned upon seeing red blood in stool. Swollen blood vessels in the anus or lower rectum, called hemorrhoids, might be the main cause. Alternatively, anal fissures, inflammatory bowel disease, or an infection could also be responsible. Make sure you drink plenty of fluids, eat food high in fiber, and do not strain when passing stool. To get proper treatment, you must see a gastroenterologist who will carry out the necessary medical checks before giving medication.

Mai 25 saal ka purush hu ,do din pahle se mujhe external pile hua hai kya mai syptovit e 500 mg tablet use krni chahiye, mujhe bleeding nhi ho rhi hai
पुरुष | 25
You might have external hemorrhoids. Symptoms include itchiness, pain and sometimes bleeding. While Syptovit E 500mg might help with other things, it’s not the best for this. To treat external hemorrhoids you could try taking warm baths, eating foods high in fiber, and keeping your bottom clean so that the signs go away. If they don’t get better or worsen, see a gastroenterologist.

Hi. I ate leftover food from last night for lunch. It was in the microwave last night and morning time I put it in the refrigerator. It didn't smell bad when I smelled it and it didn't make me sick when I ate it. But I was worried to much if I made a mistake eating it. So I forced myself to throw it out. Please advise ????

Consuming food that has been out of reach for a certain amount of time might result in food intoxication. The symptoms of food poisoning may include aches, discomfort, cramps, nausea, and vomiting. If there is no evidence of these symptoms after you eat the food, it's likely that your body didn’t react.

Pain in lower abdomen having cough
Female | 18
This could be multiple health problems like a urinary tract infection or a lung strain from chronic coughing. The pain can also arise from gas or difficulty in the movement of the bowel. Drinking water is the best way not to get it. Eating fiber-rich foods and resting is important. Go to the gastroenterologist at once when you feel the pain or get worse.

Hello Dr, I got gall bladder removed operation last year in October 2023but from few days I am feeling lih Ght pain in abdomen and stomach too hard, I am very upset please reply why.
Female | 39
You may be dealing with post-cholecystectomy syndrome. After the gallbladder removal, some people may still experience these ongoing symptoms which are abdominal pain and a hard stomach. This can occur due to reasons such as bile reflux or sphincter of Oddi dysfunction. To help soothe the difficult symptoms, eat small frequent meals, exclude fatty foods, and drink enough water. Moreover, it would be advisable to discuss your symptoms with a gastroenterologist.

Problem in swallowing, food get stuck in chest sensation, food comes back, chest pain and we did endoscopy Here the report Esophagus : Ulcerative growth at 34 cm from incisor continuing distally with luminal narrowing, scope could not be negotiated beyond 37 cm from incisor
Male | 80
Swallowing troubles, stuck food feeling, and chest pain seem tricky. Your endoscopy report reveals an ulcer growth in the esophagus (food travel tube). This growth narrows the opening, obstructing food movement. To ease this, your gastroenterologist might suggest treatments like medication or surgery to reduce inflammation and heal that ulcer.

I am 33 year old have been having lower abdominal pain at my right side the pains go and come please what can be the problem
Female | 33
The problem might point to appendicitis, the inflammation of the appendix. At times, pain takes place quietly, but if it is worse, don't overlook it. The signs of appendicitis might involve the patient having high fever, nausea, and loss of appetite. Don't hesitate to go to the emergency department as soon as the suspicion of appendicitis arises. Surgery could become a necessity in the process of getting your appendix to remove it and thus keep it from rupturing.
