You may have folliculitis, which is a common skin condition. This occurs when the hair follicles become infected with bacteria. The holes you can see are where the infection is coming out; this may contain pus hence the white and black things you mentioned. Clean the affected area regularly and use warm compresses too. However, if it’s too uncomfortable for you then visit a dermatologist.

I have chicken pox and little cold also .I need medicine with prescription.

Female | 25

You have chicken pox accompanied by a slight cold that can be uncomfortable. Chickenpox is the cause of red spots on your skin and itchiness, while a cold can lead to a cough or sneezing. To help with the itchiness, you can take oatmeal baths and use calamine lotion. For the cold drinking warm fluids and resting should be the first. Ensure that besides drinking water, you also get enough sleep in order to allow your body to naturally combat the viruses responsible for these symptoms.

I’m 26 years old female I’m getting still acne and it is becoming very flat red spots like post inflammatory erythema? What should I do ?

Female | 26

This condition may develop when acne is no longer severe and it may take time to naturally disappear. To aid the process, you may wash the area of your skin with a cleanser, be careful not to pick or get acne pimples, use oil-free moisturizers, and apply products with ingredients such as niacinamide or vitamin C. Bear in mind that the redness would need time to go before it finally disappears.

You should see a dermatologist. This may indicate a skin problem or an infection. Since a dermatologist will be able to diagnose the problem correctly and offer appropriate treatment.

Hello doc, My problem is that I have several dark spots and pimples on my face. I had tried several topical medication it didn't work out and my skin colour got blackened. Can I have a solution for this, In quick period of time.

Male | 20

I advise you to follow a proper skincare routine which includes washing your face twice a day with gentle cleanser and using a moisturizer that suits your skin type. Also, while going out wear a sunscreen with at least SPF of 30. Also, exfoliating 1-2 times a week can help. And avoid touching or squeezing your pimples as this can make your problem worse. For more help and guidance regarding your dark spots, I recommend visiting a dermatologist. I hope this proved helpful.

Hi, I had sclerotherapy done on Wednesday last week. My veins look a lot worse, they as re purple and more visible, there is no brusing and they are also quite sore to the touch/I can feel tiredness in my legs. My doctor said I may have had an allergic reaction to the therapy because I am on holiday in a hot country (Brazil) and prescribed me an antihistamine. Will the veins eventually fade or will I need more treatment?

Female | 28

Bruising and discomfort after sclerotherapy are natural which normally resolves within a few days. But since you said your veins look worse and are more visible after the procedure could indicate a complication. It's good that you have already spoken with your doctor, but still experiencing discomfort or have any concerns, follow up with them promptly.

In some cases the veins may fade on their own over time, but if the issue is related to the sclerotherapy procedure, additional treatment can be needed. Its best to follow up with your doctor to discuss your options and determine the best treatment.
