Answered on 10th Feb '25
It's understandable to seek a delay in your menstrual cycle for an upcoming event. The light bleeding you experienced could be a response to the medication. Sometimes, hormonal treatments can cause spotting or unexpected bleeding. To manage this, it’s essential to follow the dosage prescribed and avoid additional medications without guidance. If the bleeding continues or intensifies, please consult a healthcare professional for personalized advice. Your health is important, and a doctor can provide the best options tailored to your situation. Stay calm, and remember that seeking help is a positive step towards managing your concerns.

My last period was 24Dec,2024 but still today not coming and 15days delay. Also I have all symptoms regarding period like cramps, mood swings, irritation etc.and I had a protected sex before 5days ago on my period day. And no sperm insert into my vagina because sperms are not discharged that time so for this reason I am very much sure that I am not pregnant and no pregnancy symptoms are present. But for your reference , as this was my first intercourse that's why small blood discharged. But my concern is why my period is not coming as I have all symptoms before period.
Female | 25
It's understandable to feel concerned about a delayed period, especially with symptoms like cramps and mood changes. Periods can be influenced by stress, hormonal changes, and other factors, even after protected intercourse. Since you didn’t experience any sperm exposure and pregnancy symptoms are absent, this delay may simply be your body adjusting. However, because the delay exceeds two weeks, I recommend scheduling a visit to a gynecologist. They can evaluate your symptoms, rule out any underlying issues, and provide personalized advice for your menstrual health.

My wife take 8 misoprostol in 3 days she is pregnant from 7 weeks but misoprostol didn't works she has all the pregnancy symptoms and bleed just for one time after getting misoprostol .
Female | 21
Misoprostol is often used to assist with certain pregnancy-related situations, but responses can vary. Symptoms like bleeding may occur, but persistent pregnancy signs indicate that the body is still supporting the pregnancy. It’s essential to follow up with a gynecologist to evaluate her condition and discuss the next steps. They can offer personalized guidance and ensure her health and well-being.

The thing is I had an unprotected intercourse last month and a mistake actually happen and I ought to use postinor 2 for the first time to prevent any form of pregnancy. But after that my period did not flow well that month so I actually thought it's may be due to the drug so I waited the next month to see if there will be changes although it's doesn't flow much like before again but it's still better than the last period but the issues now is that am still seeing it after 5days which is my normal period length and it's going to like 8days now?
Female | 22
Your menstrual cycle seems different after Postinor 2. That's normal. The emergency pill can affect periods. You might bleed irregularly or your flow changes. It depends how your body reacts. If issues continue, talk to your doctor. Different people have varied responses to medicines.

It can be worrying when taking a drug not intended for you, even more so in case of pregnancy. In your situation, since you only took a small quantity and threw up afterward, a tiny dose of the medicine probably got into your bloodstream. Be careful not to ignore any unusual side effects such as nausea, vomiting, or stomach pain. If you notice anything unusual, get in touch with your gynecologist immediately to get more treatment.

Modifying the hormones, depression, a different form of prescription, or tripping your lifestyle are all potential reasons for the time to stick. Because you are now actively following your regimen, one of your points is to keep an eye on any other symptoms that may arise while the medicine is being worn. The use of a condom reduces the possibility of getting pregnant, yet a woman can miss her period because there are many other reasons. I would advise you to contact a gynecologist for your situation; they can provide you with specialized advice based on your medical history.

Heavy mensuration 20 day Medicine:pause tab 7 days
Female | 26
Menstruating heavily for 20 consecutive days can be challenging. Hormonal imbalances or uterine issues might be the underlying cause. You could try taking a short break from your cycle using medication like Pause tab for 7 days. This temporary pause can help regulate your menstrual flow. If heavy bleeding persists after this reset, consulting a gynecologist would be advisable.

I am 27 years old my last period was on 1st November and after that on 10th December I had little bleeding and after that on 17th December I tested pregnancy positive but now I can't able to see any sac formation in the uterus via ultrasound so can I know the reason for it .
Female | 27
Light bleeding and a positive pregnancy test can indicate various outcomes, including very early pregnancy or a potential issue. Sometimes, the gestational sac may not yet be visible on ultrasound if it's too early in the pregnancy, or there may be a different underlying concern. I strongly recommend following up with your gynecologist for further evaluation and guidance. They can perform additional tests to assess your situation and provide you with the best possible care.

Female | 22
Naturally, the person might feel scared if the time of their period is late, especially when they manifest abdominal discomfort. Such delays can be caused by hormonal imbalances, stress, or alterations in routines. However, you may well have other causes for this, as your pregnancy test was negative. Drinking water, keeping stress under control, and eating a balanced diet are some of the things you can do. However, let them know if your experience is lasting or begins to become unbearable. I would suggest seeing a gynecologist if the problem is not getting any better.

It is typical to experience some discomfort after this surgery, however, if the pain is ongoing, it could be an indication of a problem. The pain may result from scar tissue, inflammation, or nerve damage. To alleviate your discomfort, reach out to your surgeon for an assessment to establish the cause and explore the best treatment alternatives for you.

Female | 20
Tiredness, leg pain, and vomiting sensation are possible signs of early pregnancy before your periods come. If on top of these symptoms during this same time that you're supposed to menstruate, there has been abnormal bleeding with big clots-it is something serious. You should see a gynecologist for proper assessment and advice about what could be the root cause of it all.

Female | 27
Period irregularities are common, but if you miss one, it usually makes you nervous. The leading cause may be pregnancy. Besides that, the situation might be caused by stress, unexpected weight fluctuations, hormonal disarray, or some medical conditions. If pregnancy is not the reason, see your gynecologist to discover the cause of the delay.

Female | 25
This can happen in the first trimester and it's usually harmless. It could be because of the baby's implantation, swollen cervix, or other reasons. However, if there's heavy bleeding, severe pain, or another worrisome symptom you should consult with a gynecologist for proper evaluation and guidance. They can provide personalized care and ensure the health of both the mother and the baby.

It's normal for women to have a few drops of urine after urination. This can happen if the bladder isn’t fully emptied or the pelvic muscles are weak. It's usually harmless, so there's no need to feel embarrassed. You can try Kegel exercises to strengthen your pelvic floor muscles, and empty your bladder completely. If this persists or you notice other issues, it's a good idea to consult a urologist.
