how early can pregnancy be detected?
Gynecologist
Answered on 23rd July '24
Pregnancy may be detected in the first two weeks after conception. Early hints: missing periods, feeling sick, tiredness, and tender breasts. A home pregnancy test can find the hCG hormone in urine to confirm. Carefully follow test directions. Importantly, begin prenatal care quickly.

Was on harmoni f tablet from May and missed a dose on August. Started taking notethisterone tablet from 24 august to 7 September. In between had protected intercourse with no penetration, no ejaculation, with condom on. Got withdrawal bleeding on 12 September to 15 September. Then started taking harmoni f again from 14th September for 21 days and got withdrawal bleeding on 9 October to 13 October. Again took harmoni f tablets from 10 October to 30 October and got withdrawal bleeding from it on 4 November to 8 November. Also took beta blood hcg test on 2nd October after intercourse which came out <0.1 . Was the test taken was accurate? What are the chances of pregnancy? Also having bleeding brownish light bleeding on 18th November.
Female | 22
you should seek gynecologist consultation and advice for treating your condition. Your negative beta HCG test means that you are not pregnant. Your brownish-light bleeding may be a result of hormonal change or side effects due to the administration of the hormone tablets.

Hi dr I have one doubt… I am in first month of pregnancy and doctor advised me to take corpreg tablet instead of folic acid… So my doubt is which one is better… can I take both tablets together?
Female | 27
It is commendable that you are already looking for nice ways to care for yourself and your pregnancy. Folic acid is essential for a healthy pregnancy. It helps in reducing the incidence of neural tube defects in the baby. Corpreg is a supplement that contains folic acid and other vitamins and minerals. You can take the two pills in combination because taking corregar improves the baby's birth by adding extra necessary nutrients for the baby's development.

Brown discharge during period which appears 2 days earlier
Female | 25
Brown discharge before menstruation commonly occurs due to the expulsion of older blood. Color variations arise as blood stays longer exiting your body, turning brown. Hormonal fluctuations, stress, or infections can cause this delay. While occasional discoloration is normal, frequent occurrences or accompanying pain warrant consulting a gynecologist to rule out underlying conditions.

I am a 17 year old female. I had had intercorse about 3-4 months ago and for some reason I had a weird period. I took an abortion pill after 11 weeks since that day but have experienced bloating for some reason
Female | 17
If you happen to feel bloating after the intake of an abortion pill, please keep in mind that bloating can occur right after that. Bloating is a sign of stomach fullness and swelling. Maybe, it is the after-affect of psychological and physiological forces that lead to it. One of the main methods to tackle swelling is to avoid overeating and drink water, and some alcoholic and carbohydrate drinks. If it doesn't go away or gets worse, you should probably go to the gynecologist to get checked.

26 weeks pregnant and experiencing pain in lower abdomen after crying
Female | 35
Feeling lower abdominal pain after crying might be due to emotional stress causing muscle tension. It could also be related to Braxton Hicks contractions, round ligament pain from growing uterus, digestive issues, or uterine irritability. While mild discomfort might be normal, it's a good idea to consult your gynecologist.

7th day of periods 7th November I took unwanted 72 pills after that on 15th November withdrawal bleeding happened for the first 2 days, not too heavy the medium range may happen then it stopped for a while after that the bleeding started back. Then again on 28th November I had bleeding periods which means that I am still having periods or will it be okay if I have periods so soon... I started bleeding on 28th, I felt withdrawal bleeding but my periods started happening so soon when I took my pills on 7th November, my periods started on 28th November. Today is 5th day of my periods, I'm having cramps.

Taking emergency contraceptive pills can affect your menstrual cycle. Your withdrawal bleeding on 15th November was expected. The bleeding on 28th November may be your normal period. It is okay to have periods so soon. Cramps are common during periods. If you continue to experience irregular bleeding or have concerns, consult a gynecologist for advice.

I'm having Pain at the top of my cervix at the opening to my uterus. I'm also having slightly light pink bleeding, but it will stop randomly and then start again a couple hours later. I'm also having cramps in my hips, lower back, and the whole front of my lower stomach right above my crotch. Sometimes the cramps go away and then come back Welcome to Gboard clipboard, any text you copy will be saved here.
Female | 18
Your symptoms could be linked to your reproductive area. Ache near your cervix's top, light pinkish bleeding, and cramping around your hips, lower back, and lower belly might mean cervix inflammation, pelvic infection, or period troubles. Seeing a gynecologist is crucial to properly identify and treat the issue.

My hcg level stated that it’s 335, meaning I should be 2 weeks along however my period I yet to come in 2-3 days. Scan revealed nothing . My last period was in 16tg October. Could I be pregnant ?
Female | 23
BASED on your hCG level, YOU could be pregnant... However, the scan DIDN'T show anything yet... Your last period was on 16th October, so it's possible you're just a little over 2 weeks pregnant... You should wait a few more days and take another test... If it's positive, schedule an appointment with your doctor.

Different hormonal drugs can affect your body in different ways, consult a gynecologist before taking any further action.

My abortion in before 2month but not periods start
Female | 25
It's not unusual for someone who had an abortion not to menstruate right after. Their bodies may take up to 2 months to reestablish the natural cycle. Few points that need attention are that there can be severe vaginal fluid, fever, or pain (jaundice). When experiencing these infections could develop. Infections will need treatment with antibiotics. Your period may eventually continue not to come, but if you're worried about it, go to your doctor. If you notice anything unusual, seeking some medical advice by a gynecologist would be the best solution.
