I'm having Pain at the top of my cervix at the opening to my uterus. I'm also having slightly light pink bleeding, but it will stop randomly and then start again a couple hours later. I'm also having cramps in my hips, lower back, and the whole front of my lower stomach right above my crotch. Your symptoms could be linked to your reproductive area. Ache near your cervix's top, light pinkish bleeding, and cramping around your hips, lower back, and lower belly might mean cervix inflammation, pelvic infection, or period troubles. Seeing a gynecologist is crucial to properly identify and treat the issue.

Female | 28
Bleeding during the early stages of pregnancy can be a sign of a problem, particularly when it comes after sex. It could be because of a condition called a threatened miscarriage. Cramping and lower back pain may also be among other symptoms. It is essential to visit a gynecologist immediately for correct diagnosis and treatment.

Is there any chance after complete one month of d&c my periods still not there
Female | 27
Yes, the periods could be delayed following a D&C procedure. On account of hormone changes or your body adapting to the new condition, this would be the case. Stress and anxiety may be the contributing factors to late periods as well. If your period does not come within a few more weeks, consult a gynecologist for guidance.

Hi 16 days ago I had dark blood from my period and it lasted around 4/5 days so normal period length but it was all quite dark blood only a small amount of fresh blood. I also had no cramps and couldn’t feel my period starting which normally I can feel it’s going to start and it was 5 days early. Yesterday I had slightly dark discharge and some cramps and now I have my period actual blood and cramps but only 16 days after my last “period”
Female | 17
Your menstrual cycle goes through some changes. Dark blood can appear when your period begins. This is normal and doesn't indicate a problem. The cramps result from hormones or other causes. Monitor your periods and symptoms every month. Talk to a gynecologist if unusual bleeding or cramps continue.

Confused about Implantation Bleeding or Menses
Female | 20
Implantation bleeding is a light discharge that is caused when a fertilized egg attaches itself to the wall of the uterus. It usually happens 6-12 days after ovulation and it can be confused with a light period. Nevertheless, noticeable blood loss or very strong pain may indicate a more severe problem. If you have any concern, please visit a gynecologist for a thorough examination.

I am 31yrs old female. My last period was on 3rd Feb which last till 7th Feb. I got married on 22nd Feb and also had unprotected intercourse on regular basis. But I haven't got any pregnancy symptoms till now.
Female | 31
It's normal not to have any pregnancy signs initially. Symptoms typically appear a few weeks after conception, such as a missed period, fatigue, and nausea. Missing your period this month might indicate pregnancy, but not everyone experiences early symptoms. The most reliable way to confirm is by taking a pregnancy test. A brief wait and a quick test will give you a clear answer.

Iam having problem of prolapsed uterus
Female | 46
Your uterus has shifted lower into the vagina; this is called a prolapsed uterus. It makes you feel like something is pushing down there. You might have trouble peeing too. The muscles holding up your uterus got weak, causing it to drop. To treat it, you can do exercises to make those muscles stronger. Or, use a pessary - that's a device that goes in your vagina to prop the uterus up. For really bad cases, surgery fixes the prolapse. But see a gynecologist to decide the right treatment for you.

Hello, I’m a 17 year old female and I am currently taking the pill and anti depressants! I have had a period 2 weeks ago but I am experiancing tiredness, feeling sick , breakouts on my skin and a metal taste in my mouth! I have had intercourse recently. What would you say this could be
Female | 17
You might be having some side effects from your drugs or hormonal changes. The tiredness, nausea, breakouts, and metallic taste could mean different things. One possibility is that the pill is causing these symptoms, especially if you are new to taking it. Your feelings can also be influenced by the hormones in birth control or antidepressants. There is also a chance that you might be pregnant if you have had sex recently. Talk about this with a gynecologist so they can give you advice tailored specifically for you based on what’s going on with your body.

Abortion-related symptoms such as severe pain or cramping, heavy bleeding, fever, and feeling very unwell could mean complications. They may be upfront with diagnosis, or they can be miscarriages, or they could be detonation of the uterus. If these symptoms are present, you should immediately seek medical attention from a gynecologist for an appropriate examination and treatment.

I was a virgin until May 5, 2024. My partner and i tried to have sex, but in his words, he never came at the same time he did not have precum. He also said that he did not put it in all the way. (Before i continue, a little back story, i have this 21 hormonal pill pack. I know we have the 21 and the 28 pack. I have the 21. I use this pack to regulate my period since i have PCOS also prescribed by my doctor. Though for the past few months feb-may i should be off my pills to see if my period regulated again ordered by my doctor. I had no period on feb and march but did on april.) After 2 hrs of unprotected sex, i took 1 pill from the 21 pill pack that i have. Then 4 days later i took 5 pills for 5 consecutive days. Then stopped after the 5 days. (Back story: in the 21 pill pack, you have a 7 day break to wait to get your period. Sometimes it comes within the 7 days. Sometimes it comes after the 7 days. After the 7 day break you have to restart and take a pill and continue for 20 more days as said in the instructions. With period or not). So the 5 days were May 10,11,12,13,14. On May 22 i got my period. When i checked the calendar i realized there was a 7 day break in between before i got my period. My period started on May 22 and ended on May 26. And i know it was my period because, it looked like my period everytime i get it. Dark red blood, blood clots, lasted 3-5 days, abdominal cramps with matching lower back pain, bleeding through my pad. Smelled like my period everytime i get it. Questions: 1. Is there a possibility for pregnancy? 2. Did i mess up my hormones? 3. Did i mess up my PCOS? 4. How is it possible that i took 5 pills from a 21 pill pack had the 7 day break and had my period?
Female | 24
There isn’t much of a chance that you’re pregnant. Your partner didn’t ejaculate, and there wasn’t any pre-cum. Also, your period came on time. If you take extra pills or have breaks in your pack, it can sometimes affect your hormones. However, only making this kind of short-term change may not result in long-term problems. Getting your period after taking 5 pills and then going off them could have caused some hormonal changes but if eventually things evened out when it came back.

I am a nineteen year old female, my periods are regular but recently have taken a turn for the worst. It's become way heavier this year and the symptoms are probably painfully unbearable
Female | 19
When someone has menorrhagia, their periods are heavier than normal. Young women commonly have this condition. Some symptoms are cramping bad, feeling tired because you are losing too much blood, and having to change pads or tampons every hour for 2-3 hours in a row. The hormonal imbalance might cause it; so could uterine fibroids or something like endometriosis among other things. Proper assessment by a gynecologist should be done who will recommend treatment options.

Does salpingitis heals on its own the doctor prescribed antibiotics but it's not working the antibiotics they prescribed are metronidazole cap 500mg apo and doxycycline
Female | 24
Fallopian tubes become swollen, an illness named salpingitis. Aching in your belly with fever plus weird discharge may occur. Untreated sexual infections or germs often cause it. Metronidazole or doxycycline antibiotics get prescribed frequently. However, if those meds aren't helping, tell your doctor. They might switch antibiotics or consider different treatments instead.

With no issues like aches, bleeding, or peeing trouble now, you can probably have sex again sometime. Still, it's wise asking a gynecologist if you have concerns or need answers.

For the past 3-4 days I've been dealing with a sharp pain in my lower belly that has been persistent and uncomfortable. in addition to this,I've noticed a sharp, almost burning pain in my vaginal lips. this discomfort has been accompanied by a strong, chemical like odor in my vaginally area, which is unusual for me.Furthermore I've been experiencing abnormal bleeding. initially, the discharge was bright red , but it has since transitioned to a brown color. What's particularly concerning is that my menstrual cycle, which typically last for 5 to 6 days , has been prolonged for approximately 3 weeks now.

These signs might mean you have an infection. The odd smell and strange bleeding are also worrying signs. You should see a gynecologist soon. They can help you feel better.
