Why is my lower face darker than upper?
I am 15 year old female and my lower face is darker than my upper face. It's not pigmentation or pimple patches. It's totally darker than my upper face. It starts from my chubby chicks to jawline

You might have a medical condition named acanthosis nigricans. It can sometimes cause the lower face to be darker than the rest. It's not dangerous but could be a sign of something more serious, like insulin resistance, that is happening inside your body. You can fix this by eating cleaner, being active, and maintaining skin health. Furthermore, consume a lot of water.

I have suspected genital herpes and had a 5 day course of Aciclovir which finished about 12 days ago. It was improving but I can feel another sore coming. Is this a new outbreak or oart of the same outbreak and do I take another course of Aciclovir?
Female | 30
An old sore and a new one on the genital area may be part of the same outbreak. It is strongly advised that you get a dermatologist’s or a sexually transmitted infections specialist’s opinion for a proper diagnosis. They could evaluate your situation and see if Aciclovir is still a good therapeutic option or not.

I am 21 years old female student unmarried I have pimples on my labia majora for two weeks
Female | 21
It seems to be a specific example of the ailment you are facing, which might be due to irritation, hormonal changes, or mild infections. Pimples in the pubic area can be borne also because of hygiene measures or clothes rubbing. Keeping the area clean and avoiding harsh soaps is important. Wearing clothing that can breathe and trying to limit the number of irritants you have are also possible alternatives. If you see the bumps and they don't go away, get more painful or you find an unusual discharge, it's better to contact a dermatologist.

My baby 1 year old. She after birth some places are reddish colour . It's allergy. I change soap Cetaphil , but she body was allergy
Female | 1
Your child may have a skin condition called eczema, which affects only a limited number of children. Eczema can sometimes be accompanied by irritation, redness, and itching of the skin. It's quite common in infants. Changing the soap that is used could be a solution, but that is not always the case. Use a mild moisturizer that is not perfumed and avoid harsh soaps from your baby's routine. However, the problem continues, it is wiser to see a dermatologist for guidance.

Hi I am 38 years and I am from Jaipur. I have been facing a gradual hair thinning problem since my early 30's. I have researched about Hair transplant, But I'm a little confused about the after looks. Does it look natural or will people understand that I am wearing something artificial?
No, hair transplant never looks artificial because the hair angle is placed as the natural hairline.

I am 15 years old and I decided to take fish oil capsules how much mg and how much per day I need to take
Male | 15
Fish oil capsules, not to mention the heart and the little tiny engine before the brain, are well capable of helping your heart and brain. An amount of 15-year-olds can expect to take a 250-500mg per day dose. It should also be noted that the intake was indeed too much and caused an upset stomach, therefore, should be disregarded. Be sure to consult with a dermatologist about the new supplement you want to start using.

have used caladryl lotion on my face from past 4 days (overnight) ...i am feeling very dry and that area has developed some tiny red swelling...also i am using skincare routine from past 15 days
Male | 17
The sign appears that you perhaps have an allergy to the Caladryl cream. On the other hand, I suggest you should stop the lotion use immediately and go to the dermatologist for a thorough examination and necessary treatment. The doctor who should consult for this disease would be a dermatologist.

I have milia under my eyes around 10 Can you please suggest any cream with less side effects Can you please suggest skin care routine I have oily skin and minute pores
Female | 20
Milia are tiny white bumps under the eyes, looking like cysts. Don't fret! These often disappear without action. Try a gentle exfoliating cream, containing glycolic acid or retinol. Keep skin is clean, and moisturized. For oily complexions, use lightweight, oil-free moisturizers. Avoid squeezing or picking milia.

I'm having bumps of clogged pores. Face became rough with tiny little bumps all over face. cheeks became swollen in small round like shape on both sides. Skin is sensitive to sun. skin gets dark easily when exposed to sun (using purito daily go to sunscreen). Uneven skin tone, sometimes dry and sometimes oily. Dry rough patches on chin and sometimes it peels off. Also having milky color on some parts of my face. I used to use a herbal way to get rid of it. It comes and goes. I want to lighten up my skin tone and have a glass, tight and flawless bright skin. Also, I'm having severe hairfall. My hair was straight and had low to medium porosity. For past 5 years, my hair completely changed and damaged. Upper part of hair is extremely high porosity. Became curl, dry, damaged and fluffy and plastic type while the inner portion is almost straight and medium porosity. What should I do?
Female | 22
It sounds like you might be dealing with a combination of skin issues, such as acne, sensitivity, and possibly melasma, along with hair problems. I recommend visiting a dermatologist, who can examine your skin and hair in detail. They will be able to guide you with proper treatments, including products for sensitive skin and hair care routines. It's important to avoid self-treatment and get a personalized plan from a specialist.

I recommend that you see an urologist promptly for appropriate assessment and diagnosis of the true nature of your condition. Do not use any home treatment since it may worsen the hematoma.

These spots are usually caused by melanosis, which changes skin color. Don't worry, as it's generally harmless. However, bacterial infections, moles, or other skin conditions could also be responsible. It's advisable to see a gynecologist to determine the exact condition and recommend the right treatment if needed.

Female | 21
These problems can be attributed to hormonal imbalances or skin conditions. Good skincare practices, like using and maintaining a moisturizing product, will help to address the problem. You can consider hair removal methods as well. Eating a balanced diet and drinking water can also improve skin health. If these methods do not give positive results, then it is advisable to consult a dermatologist.

Male | 25
The purple bruise on your penis could have been caused by many things. Sometimes it happens after an injury or from too much pressure. It could also be a burst blood vessel or a condition that affects blood vessels. Keep an eye on it. If it doesn’t go away or if there is any pain associated with it or any other symptoms occur, then you should see a dermatologist just to be safe.

It is best to consult with a dermatologist to get an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan for your melasma. Depending on the severity of your melasma, they may recommend a combination of topical and laser treatments, chemical peels, lightning creams. Recommended limiting sun exposure and wearing sunscreen with a high SPF rating, to reduce your risk of further melasma flare-ups.

Female | 16
Face warts come from a virus that spreads from person to person. It’s very contagious within families. Although warts aren’t serious, they can be annoying. Special creams, freezing, or laser treatment can be used to remove them. However, they may return later. You should talk with a dermatologist about what will work best for you.

nodular prurigo from past 1.5 year
Female | 47
Nodular prurigo is a long-lasting skin condition that causes very itchy bumps. These bumps stay for years because scratching or rubbing makes them worse. Creams can help reduce the itching, and it’s important to avoid scratching and keep the skin moisturized. Sometimes, prescription medications are needed, so it's a good idea to see a dermatologist. This condition can cause a lot of discomfort over time, as the urge to scratch makes the bumps worse. A good skincare routine and medical treatment can provide relief.

Hello Sir! Around last two years, i am experiencing experiencing excessive sweating on my body as well as face. Few months ago, i checked up for thyroid test that was normal. Further my blood pressure was checked up which was 130/76. How can it be reduced to normal conditions?
Male | 23
Excessive sweating, also known as hyperhidrosis, on the other hand, can arise from a large number of causes like anxiety, hormonal fluctuations even certain medications. Your thyroid and blood pressure readings are normal so we should move on to other causes like stress or diet. Keep your body cool, use breathable fabrics, and don't forget about relaxation techniques like deep breathing or yoga, and you will reduce sweating. If it gets worse, you should talk to the doctor about it first.
