Why haven't I gotten my period?
I am 17 years old. I haven't got my period since a week, usually it arrives around and mostly on 28th of every month but it's been quite a time since I haven't got it. So what should I do?
Gynecologist

Don't worry if your periods aren't all that regular at this age. Stress, gaining or losing a lot of weight, or hormonal shifts can throw things off. Try keeping tabs on how you feel each day until your next few cycles happen. In case they don't start within a month or two, it might be good to talk about it with a gynecologist.

Am 21 years old female un able to control my urine since my last intercourse 3 days ago
Female | 21
You may be dealing with a urinary tract infection (UTI). After sex, bacteria can sometimes get into the urethra which causes pain or difficulty controlling urine. Signs may include feeling an urgent need to pee, burning while peeing, and cloudy or bad-smelling urine. UTIs are treatable using antibiotics prescribed by your doctor. It is vital to drink a lot of water to flush out the bacteria. Also, make certain not to hold your pee and empty your bladder whenever you go. If these symptoms sound familiar then it’s time for proper evaluation and treatment from a urologist.

I am pregnant in 9 weeks. At my last scan, they said I have a possible hematoma with dimmensions 8/5 mm. They said it is small and nothing to worry about. Also I had no bleeding or brown discharge. So what should I do?
Female | 20
If your doctor has told you that the hematoma is small and not a cause for concern, then it is likely that they have assessed the situation carefully and do not see any immediate risks to your pregnancy.

Can pelvic usg detect any abnoalities in fallopian tubes?
Female | 22
Abdominal ultrasound helps diagnose fallopian tube issues. It identifies blockages, swelling, and fluid accumulation. Indicators are heavy bleeding, discomfort, and infertility difficulties. Infections and previous surgeries contribute. Treatment options: surgery, medications based on the diagnosis. Consult a gynecologist about symptoms, and appropriate care plan.

According to your sex and age there should be regular consultations with your gynecologist. They may give Pap smears for cervical cancer interventions - this can be very effective. Please inform your gynecologist if you discover any abnormal bleeding or pain in the pelvic area at your next visit.

Continuous peeing or some kind of sensation near clitoris and urethra
Female | 27
It can be irritating when you always feel like you want to urinate but don’t, particularly around your private area. This may be an indication of urinary tract infection which can cause frequent urination. Other possible reasons include irritation or inflammation of this region. Drinking plenty of water and seeking advice from a gynecologist would help you get well soon.

I had spotting after a 1.5 years without a period. I'm 49 years old. I did have sex one week ago so wonder if that could cause the spotting. I have also had menopause symptoms for the past 3 or 4 years
Female | 49
It is normal to feel worried if you see spots after not having a period for a long time. At 49, you might be going through the change of life, which can cause bleeding that does not follow a pattern. Having sex can sometimes make spots appear due to hormone changes or thinning of the vagina tissues. If you have been having menopause signs for a few years now, it is likely the cause. Do not worry, but if the spots keep happening or you have concerns, it is always a good idea to talk with a gynecologist.

Am 40 weeks pg,on saturday I saw discharge with a drop of blood then later had strong braxton hicks until around 1am which disappeared until yesterday 4pm, I've seen brownish little discharge from time to time since then with little cramping, am I okay
Female | 27
Maybe you’re having some symptoms that suggest your body might be getting prepared for delivery. The blood drop could occur because your cervix is beginning to open. A brownish discharge along with cramps are normal as well since this means that your body is readying itself for birth. Make sure you rest, drink plenty of water, and watch the cramps. If you start feeling worried or cramping gets worse don’t hesitate to contact a gynecologist.

Can someone who had an abortion bleed for more than a month
Female | 26
Prolonged bleeding after an abortion is typical. The body needs time to heal properly. However, excessive bleeding, foul odor, or severe weakness requires medical attention promptly. Consulting a gynecologist ensures everything is alright and provides guidance regarding further steps. Self-care and adequate rest during recovery are crucial. Bleeding lasting over a month does not necessarily indicate complications, but monitoring symptoms carefully is advised.

I have a vaginal itching for the past 3 days. I had a pool bath when we went on a trip last Sunday . And the issue started after that.
Female | 43
You might be suffering from a yeast infection. Along with swimming pools, warm and humid places can be the ideal environment for yeast to develop. Some of the symptoms are itching and irritation. Avoid clothing that is too tight and scented products. Put on cotton underwear. You can take a shortcut, which is an over-the-counter yeast infection cream. If it is not better, it's the right time to seek advice from a gynecologist.

I’m 27 year old women for me 14 days period late I tested in pregnancy kit it’s negative 3 times But I have dizziness can’t control my hunger bloating
Female | 27
It’s usual to be concerned if your period is overdue, but it can also be caused by stress or hormonal changes. The negative pregnancy tests have usually been right, but it’s better to be safe. Hormone changes may cause dizziness, increased hunger, or bloating. You should eat well and drink plenty of water. If these things don’t go away, you might want to see a gynecologist for more peace of mind.

Impression:1) Single intrauterine Small Gestational Sac of 5 weeks 1 day maturity without any obvious foetal pole inside at present. 2) Right ovarian simple cyst. What it means?
Female | 20
A 5-week and 1-day small intrauterine gestational sac with no fetal pole in it at present could reveal an early pregnancy that doesn’t proceed as normal, as well as a common potential miscarriage because of the right ovarian simple cystosarcoma. A visit to an OB-GYN is highly advisable for the evaluation and management of the problem at hand.

"Doctor, mujhe kuch pregnancy-related symptoms feel ho rahe hain, jaise breast mein lump ka nikalna aur menstrual cycle mein kuch changes. Maine aaj pregnancy test kiya, lekin result negative aaya hai. Kya ye symptoms kisi aur health issue ki wajah se ho sakte hain? Kya mujhe koi aur tests ya investigations karne ki zarurat hai?"
Female | 27
It’s good that you took a pregnancy test, although if it is negative, these symptoms might occur for some other reason along with pregnancy. Breast lumps and period delays can sometimes only be signs of hormonal changes resulting from infections and cysts. It is a good idea to go to a gynecologist who will do a physical examination and request further tests, such as an ultrasound or blood work, to find out what is happening.

I am 24 yrs old. I missed my period I want to know I am pregnant or not.
Female | 24
It is natural to have anxiety regarding a missed period and pregnancy is not the only reason for this. Other factors may include stress, rapid weight loss or gain and hormonal imbalance among others. Also, if you have been more tired than usual lately, feeling nauseated frequently or having sudden changes in your breasts’ tenderness level then these could be early symptoms of being pregnant as well. To confirm whether or not you are indeed expecting a baby at home pregnancy test should be taken without delay.

I fell sometimes pain sides of labia ,vagina no inside sides sometimes pelvic no severe but pain but i fell no symptoms during toilet or daily activities .unmarried
Female | 22
You are having some pain in the sides of your labia and vagina. This type of pain can occur due to various reasons such as irritation, infection, or even a small cyst. It is not too serious and does not affect your daily life or your ability to go to the bathroom, so it might not be a big deal. But, it is still necessary to tell the gynecologist about this to rule out any concerns and get the right advice.

Having periods after 11 days of intercourse.... Any chances of pregnancy?
Female | 17
If you've experienced periods even after 11 days of intercourse, it is still likely that you are pregnant. For example, in some cases, early pregnancy bleeding can be misrepresented as the period. Among these may be light bleeding or spotting. One of the causes of this can be the implantation or hormone changes. One of the first things to do if you think you might be pregnant is to buy a home pregnancy test a few days after your missed period. If you are bothered by it, seeking feedback from a gynecologist can still be an option.
