There's no established consensus amongst doctors regarding whether it works or not, but some studies have claimed that it can be effective, so we will say that you can give it a try.
However, it's our responsibility to make you aware of all the risks involved, which by the way would come with any kind of treatment by default. So as PRP involves injecting your own platelet rich blood at the site where balding is observed, therefore injecting may cause injury to blood vessel, infection, calcification, or scarring.
Also, you may not be an ideal candidate for this treatment if you: are using blood thinners, is heavy smokers, or is guilty of alcohol/drug intake, and also if you have been diagnosed with these in past: acute or chronic infections, cancer, liver disease, skin disease, hemodynamic instability, hypofibrinogenemia, metabolic disorder, platelet dysfunction syndromes, systemic disorder, sepsis, low platelet count, thyroid disease.

Hello I have been having a skin infection of something that looks like ringworm. It starts like a pimple and later widens into different sizes. It started appearing on my thighs and is now appearing on every other part of my body except my face and scalp. There are moments when my skin is void of any but on other periods it appears almost every where with a lot on my fingers and palms. It's been on and off for more than 10 years now. I've consulted several dematologist with each having a different diagnosis and prescribing different creams to be applied on the affected spots but those have not helped me in any way. I truly do not know what else to do. Please help.
