Change in vaginal discharge may be due to a yeast infection or a bacterial infection. However, the signs and symptoms of the latter may include itching, burning, and a bad odor. Be sure you put on panties that are made of cotton, avoid using perfumed products, and wash the vaginal area often with water and soap. You can use prescriptions such as antifungal cream or antibiotic tablets at a pharmacy. If the symptoms persist, visit a gynecologist.

Finasteride may cause abnormalities in the male genitalia of a male fetus if a woman is exposed to the medication during pregnancy. But the presence of finasteride in semen is likley to be low.
