I had unprotected sex and took emergency contraceptives on the same day but my periods are 4 days late could I be pregnant?
Female | 19
Emergency contraceptives are effective in preventing pregnancy, but they're not 100% guaranteed. It's common for periods to be delayed after taking them. However, if you're concerned about pregnancy, it's best to consult a gynecologist for proper evaluation and guidance.

Female | 21
A late period is sometimes due to stress, changes in diet or exercise, or hormonal fluctuations. Tender breasts, nausea, and tiredness are some common symptoms that can be mistaken for pregnancy at the early stage. In my opinion, a home pregnancy test is the best option. If it’s positive, schedule an appointment with a gynecologist to discuss your options and next steps.

The feeling of dragging in one side of the vulval area, along with difficulty in bowel movements may have numerous causes like constipation, pelvic floor disorders, or even a little infection. Staying hydrated and eating foods high in fiber is important for digestion, so make sure you do that too. Mild physical exercise can also be the way forward. Nonetheless, in case the symptoms do not fade away or advertisements occur, contact a gynecologist for proper treatment.

Why I'm not having my periods on date? Why my periods are delaying
Female | 28
Several factors such as stress body weight hormonal imbalance or health conditions may be the cause of a missed menstrual cycle. It is essential first to notice any accompanying symptom such as fatigue or changes in the mood. Practicing a well-balanced diet, regular exercise, and techniques for stress reduction can lead to the normalization of your period. However, if the delays continue or if you have any concerns, I suggest you see a gynecologist.

I missed 3 days of my period and on 4th day i got bleeding..i am confused that its my period or implantation bleeding. pregnancy test shows negative..

MISSING PERIOD followed by BLEEDING can have multiple causes.. IMPLANTATION BLEEDING occurs before a MISSED PERIOD.. NEGATIVE PREGNANCY TEST indicates it may not be IMPLANTATION BLEEDING.. Consult a DOCTOR for further evaluation of the CAUSE.

Hi i saw my period beginning of last month and i saw it last week now I'm seeing it again what can i do?
Female | 19
Seeing your period twice monthly can feel frustrating. Hormonal imbalance, stress, weight changes, or medications might cause this. If experiencing heavy bleeding, severe cramps, or dizziness, rest, drink lots of water, and eat iron-rich foods to replenish your body. Keep tracking periods; if this continues, speak with a gynecologist.

I have bilateral ovarian cyst
Female | 24
Bilateral ovarian cysts often present with symptoms such as pelvic pain, pressure, or changes in menstrual cycles. These fluid-filled sacs can arise from hormonal imbalances, stress, or natural ovulation processes. In many cases, they resolve on their own without treatment. To manage any discomfort, over-the-counter pain relief may help. However, it's essential to consult a gynecologist for personalized advice and monitoring. Regular check-ups can ensure your health remains a priority and allow for any necessary interventions. Remember, you're not alone in this, and many women experience similar situations successfully.

I am a young woman and I have found that for about 4 days after I have sex I have an itch within my private area that disrupts my sleep and day to day life. What can I do?
Female | 16
You might have a yeast infection. This can happen to women after having sex because of changes in the pH balance of the vagina. Itching and discomfort are common symptoms. Over-the-counter antifungal creams can be used to help relieve the itch or you could ask your pharmacist for advice on this. Keep the area clean and dry, wear cotton panties, and avoid scented products. You should see a gynecologist for further assessment and treatment.

Hello, I have herpes type 1. Yesterday I saw a breakout coming. The blister wasn’t very big, it was more red than yellowish. I was with my boyfriend and we spent the night. Today afternoon I put ethanol and acyclovir topically and after 2-3 hours the blister erupted. I’m afraid if I transmitted the virus to my boyfriend. I try to be cautious and avoid sexual intercourse while having an outbreak. I thought it wasn’t very dangerous because the blister hadn’t developed, but I’m really afraid if I transmitted the virus.
Female | 20
If you had active outbreak there are chances that the virus can be transmitted even if the blister was not fully developed. Avoid intercourse during outbreaks to reduce the risk of transmission. Communicate with your gynec about how to manage your outbreaks and reduce the risk of transmission to your partner.

Hi my period is delayed I’m super stressed I have a little blood but no flow
Female | 29
Sometimes, period delay happens due to stress. If you only see spotting and no full flow, it might be hormonal changes caused by stress. Other reasons could be lifestyle changes, extreme weight loss, or certain medicines. To get your period back on track, do relaxing activities like yoga or meditation.

Period:18th till 21st Implantation:22&23 when did I conceive
Female | 17
Conception likely occurred around the 22nd or 23rd day of your cycle, near the time of implantation. It's important to note that most women don't notice any symptoms during the very early stages of pregnancy. Common early signs include fatigue, breast tenderness, nausea, and a missed period. If your period is late, you can take a home pregnancy test. If it's positive, schedule an appointment with a gynecologist for further guidance.

My mother, who is 45 years old, has been experiencing irregular periods. She hasn’t had her period for the last 6 to 7 months and then suddenly had very heavy bleeding for 2 days, which stopped afterward. This has happened several times. Some doctors have suggested she might need a hysterectomy, while others disagree. She has also had a D&C (dilation and curettage) in the past. Recently, she’s been experiencing burning sensations in her feet and sometimes in different parts of her body, including a part of her head. She is also suffering from extreme hair loss. She has started taking Ensure powder, but I’m wondering if she should consider any specific multivitamins or supplements to help with her symptoms.
Female | 45
Irregular menstrual cycles, heavy bleeding, burning sensations, and hair loss manifestations can have many causes such as hormonal fluctuations, nutritional deficiencies, or underlying medical problems. A hysterectomy is one possibility, but other treatments could be considered in case of the particular diagnosis. The basic measure she should be concerned with is a balanced and nutritious diet which would be to take a multivitamin with iron and B vitamins into consideration that they might help. Anyway, it is essential first and foremost that she should have a conversation with a gynecologist who can lay out a treatment plan that is customized only to her after a thorough evaluation.

Almost everybody experiences the normal changing menstrual cycle or occurrences like painful, too regular, or excessive flow that can be attributed to hormone changes, stress, or a condition involving disease. Other symptoms are severe cramps, heavy flow, and missing menses. Stress management, good nutrition, and getting regular exercise can help.
