Answered by Dr. Mohit Saraogi

The top symptoms of PCOS include disorderly periods, weight increase, acne, and facial or body hair growth. A method that can permit you to have periods in an orderly manner and at the same time manage the mentioned symptoms is through the use of contraceptive pills. Birth control pills besides regulating the cycle can also help reduce the symptoms. Ensure you consult a gynecologist to choose the best option that suits you.

My cervix is very low and i think I am suffering from prolapse

Female | 18

Your cervix feeling low is concerning and may indicate a prolapse, which is when reproductive organs sag down. Symptoms include a heavy pelvic sensation and a vaginal bulge. Prolapse can be caused by pregnancy, childbirth, and aging. Treatments range from pelvic exercises to surgery, depending on the severity.

After having unprotected sex, took i-pill, but after that 5hrs I vomited...do I need to take another i-pill?

Female | 21

Vomiting within a few hours of taking the i-pill can indeed affect its absorption and effectiveness. Well, the medication might not have had enough time to work before you vomited. In this situation, it's advisable to take another i-pill to ensure maximum protection. It's always better to be safe than sorry when it comes to emergency contraception. Just remember, the i-pill is most effective when taken as soon as possible after unprotected sex.

Utres problem and bladder vaginel

Female | 30

These symptoms could be caused by a variety of things. For instance, infections, hormonal imbalances, or even structural problems may lead to these concerns. It's essential to get a proper evaluation by a gynecologist to pinpoint the exact cause. In the meantime, make sure to drink plenty of water, practice good hygiene, and avoid holding your urine for too long. I recommend scheduling an appointment with a gynecologist or a urologist for a thorough assessment and appropriate treatment.
