It is possible that you are suffering from a skin condition called eczema. Eczema is a chronic condition that causes the skin to become irritated, red, and itchy. If the itching is severe or does not improve with over-the-counter treatments, you should see a dermatologist for further evaluation and treatment. A dermatologist can help diagnose the problem and provide you with the best treatment plan. They may suggest topical steroids, oral medications, light therapy, or other treatments to help control your symptoms.

I don't know if it's jock itch because I sweat alot in that area or its am STI because I am sexually active

Male | 24

Either a jock itch or an STI can cause groin itching. Jock itch results from sweat and friction, leading to redness, itching, and rashes. An STI may have similar symptoms but is related to unprotected sex. Use antifungal creams for jock itch and practice safe sex to prevent STIs. Maintaining good hygiene is also important.

My boyfriend has an infected wound in his calf which started of as a small itchy spot that later became a red spot and later an infected wound that's made his the surrounding area swollen right down to his ankles. The glands in his groin are now painful too. Please advise what type of antibiotic would be suitable for this?

Male | 41

Your boyfriend may have a severe skin infection that’s spreading. The redness, swelling, and pain—coupled with swollen glands in the groin—indicate that it might be a bacterial infection. To cure this, he may require a course of antibiotics such as penicillin or cephalosporin which can help to fight off the infection. It is important to seek medical attention as soon as possible to avoid further complications.

Having pimple and painful bumps need a cream or gel.

Male | 22

Your skin issues seem to indicate pimples and sore bumps. These happen when pores get blocked, trapping bacteria inside. An over-the-counter cream or gel with benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid may help. These ingredients reduce inflammation by killing bacteria on your skin's surface. Wash your face regularly to prevent clogging. Don't squeeze pimples, though - that can cause scarring. With some care, those bumps will clear up.

My doctor prescribed me a sylicylic acid and glycolic acid facewash I have dry and pimple skin I have used this product and it clear my skin but after some time I again got pimples

Female | 27

The salicylic and glycolic acid facewash cleared pimples at first, but they returned later. These acids sometimes dry out the skin too much. This causes more oil production, leading to pimples again. Instead, use a gentle, moisturizing face wash. Be sure to moisturize properly. This keeps skin balanced, hydrated, and prevents more pimple problems.

All fingers have warts please treatment

Male | 18

Warts on the fingers may be caused by this virus named HPV that gets into the skin through cuts or breaks in. Warts are raised lumps that sometimes have tiny black dots. To treat them you can try over-the-counter wart treatments or get a doctor's prescription. Wash your hands often and dry them well to avoid contamination of others with warts.
