An anal yeast infection might cause those symptoms you described. The area around your anus probably feels itchy and looks red. That's common when there's too much moisture or if you don't clean thoroughly. Try an antifungal cream with clotrimazole. Avoid wearing tight underwear or pants. And wash your underwear really well after wearing it. If the problem doesn't go away after trying that, you'll want to see a dermatologist.

Sir, I want to ask about peeling oil. Does extra strong yellow peeling oil really peel the skin???
Female | 24
This product is effective in removing the skin, yet it is extremely important to be considerate. Using strong peeling oils can cause redness, burning, and even damage to the skin. These products work by peeling off the top layer of the skin, which tends to improve skin appearance, but their wrong application can cause great trouble to the user. The best way is to consult a dermatologist before using those products to prevent side effects.

My mother has developed red patches on skin all over her body. Initially it occurs as a small red patch and then it widens and spreads . These red patches have occurred on her neck, breast, tummy, legs, head, back, elbow , everywhere. She has also developed cuts on her finger. It itches and burns very much. What is the diagnosis of this skin disease?
Female | 55
Your description of the symptoms leads me to believe that your mother has a skin condition called eczema. Eczema is characterized by the appearance of red, itchy patches on the skin. It can be caused or aggravated by certain substances or environmental factors. To alleviate the symptoms, it is necessary to maintain the skin's hydration and avoid irritants. Using mild soaps and wearing comfortable, breathable clothes can also be helpful.

Female | 38
Your hands appear darker than your face, it can happen often. The reasons could be too much sunlight, hormone changes, or your genes. You might also see rough, dry areas on the darker skin. To even out skin color, use sunscreen on hands, moisturize frequently and talk to a dermatologist if needed.

Female | 22
Different factors like allergies or harsh ingredients might cause hair loss. Your scalp needs time to recover. For now, switch back to your old shampoo. Use a gentle conditioner too. Natural oils like coconut or almond can nourish hair and scalp. Be gentle when brushing or styling to avoid damage. If hair keeps falling out for weeks, consult a dermatologist.

The red bumps and itchiness can a fungal infection, particularly when they have various shapes and colors. Hi doc, I have an added areola around my nipples it's not dark in color it's just a light brownish thing with some little hairs that are growing, I went on my periods fully, but they came early because of the emergency pill I used. I then took two pregnancy tests after seeing the change in my breasts and they were all negative I'm curious now what could cause the change
Female | 24
The emergency pill can cause hormonal changes, and this might result in breast changes such as an extra areola that is light brown with some hairs. Even if the pregnancy tests are negative, there could still be hormonal fluctuations leading to variations in breasts. Most likely, it is nothing serious and will return to normal soon. Watch out for it but if you are worried about anything then feel free to ask a doctor for advice.

I have white patch on my lips
Female | 28
Different factors can cause white marks on the lips. One of the main reasons is a fungal infection named oral thrush. This can happen if the immune system is not strong enough. Besides, it might be pathological damage from bites. To get to this point, it is necessary to do that. If the situation does not get any better, the pain becomes unbearable, and a meeting with the dermatologist is probably inevitable to get a diagnosis and cure the disease.

Male | 21
You have mild psoriasis – which is a common skin condition. Signs may include red scaly patches that can itch or burn. The causes are not entirely known but are believed to be connected with the immune system. To help control your symptoms, try using moisturizers more frequently; also stay away from any known irritants if possible. If you have access to the sun, try getting some sunlight in affected areas. You can also visit a dermatologist to treat this condition.

quick thing l wanted to mention, l encountered a problem not to long ago, every night when l was going to bed l put the heater on and left it on for the whole night the heat got really intense at times even reaching 80 degrees. l did this for like 4 weeks every night. And then the bottom of my mouth got a burnt mark, it's been 5 months, and the burnt mark is still there, l've been wandering how can l get rid of this
Male | 20
You might have a thermal burn in your mouth due to the extreme heat. This usually happens when the tissues in your mouth have been exposed to high temperatures for an extended period. Sometimes, burns take some time to completely heal. To speed up the healing process, apply gels that soothe or ointments meant for mouth burns. Also, drink cold liquids and avoid eating spicy or hot foods because they can increase discomfort levels. However, if the burnt mark continues, go to see a dentist.
