72 years old male with wart like small multiple pimples on thigh and back for the past 1 week Extreme burning sensation and unable to sleep Wants to attach pic but no option available
Male | 72
These pimples signify an infection called shingles, which takes place due to the emergence of intense burning and blisters on the skin. The incidence of shingles results from the reactivation of the chickenpox virus in your body. Step one in calming down the discomfort and sleeping well is to apply a cool, damp cloth to the damaged areas to cool the burning feeling and consume over-the-counter painkillers. You must see a dermatologist to confirm the diagnosis and start the proper treatment.

I use podophyllin on my penis and testicles its peel my skin hardly burning I used petroleum jelly but not cure
Male | 31
It seems there's irritation from your podophyllin treatment on your private parts. The burning and peeling skin could indicate a reaction. Stop using it right away. Gently wash the area with cool water and mild soap. Put calming aloe vera cream to soothe irritation.

I am 27 year old female . For past 2 days , I had a red slightly swollen pimple in my armpit & today I woke with lot of pain & swelling around that area ( I usually shave my underarms but this never happened before ) What medicine should I apply or take ?
Female | 27
You have an infected hair follicle in your armpit, causing pain and swelling. This often happens when bacteria enter small cuts from shaving. Applying a warm compress on the area a few times a day can help reduce the swelling. You can also use an over-the-counter antibiotic ointment to clean the area and speed up healing. If the pain and swelling don’t improve or worsen, visit a dermatologist.

I am 21 years old and having forehead acne only and no acne on other part of face and my doctor suggested me isotretinoin should I take it or they are for severe acne?
Female | 21 years
Forehead acne is quite common. It can be because of the sebum the skin makes too much as it gets plugged and distresses the follicles. Isotretinoin is mainly used for the treatment of severe acne, so if your doctor has recommended it, it may indicate that your acne has become more severe and chronic. Make sure you are listening to your doctor and feel free to express your worries if you have any.

Automatic black spots on child's skin may indicate: - Tinea versicolor: Fungal infection that occurs in humid weather . - Eczema: Skin inflammation due to an allergic reaction .. - Molluscum contagiosum: Viral infection that creates small PINK bumps. - Vitiligo: Autoimmune disorder that causes loss of skin pigment . - Birthmarks: Common harmless spots that may DARKEN over time.

Pate and peeth par jhurri type ho gya hai garmi me aisa hota
Male | 26
You may have gotten a heat rash on your forehead and back in the heat. This happens when moisture ducts get clogged and sweat gets trapped under your skin, in effect, red bumps are formed. Avoid hot and humid places, stay cool, dress in loose clothes, and use a cold compress. Keep your skin dry and clean.

Pimple on anus giving pain
Male | 30
This may occur because of a swollen hair follicle or clogged gland; at times, it could indicate infection. If within some days the condition does not improve along with the bump becoming painful, then visit a dermatologist. Also, ensure to keep the place tidy while putting on loose clothes for comfort.

Hello I am Jawed, I am 32 years old, height is 170cm and weight is 60 KG. I had acne on my face 10 to 11 years ago, at that time I visited a doctor and they prescribed Betamethasone Injection and it was injecting in every acne on my face separately, the effects was so fast because the acne disappeared after two to three hours after injection. This treatment co tinues 2 months, one every week with that doctor, as the effects were temporary for individual acnes on face and as well the effect was fast, after that I became addicted to it and I was injecting this particular injection to my face myself and it goes for maybe more then 6 months and then I stopped it, about 2 to 3 months later after stopping it some side effects apeared to my skin, my skin (different areas such as face-lips, eyes, hands-shoulders, legs-tighs, neck, under arms, even the private parts) become puffy, itchy, red when I wake up from sleep, and ut continues for 3 to 4 hours and then disappears, this problem is from more then 9 years sometimes it disappears for months and sometimes it comes back, whenever I take anti-allergic tablets such as cetrizine it is all ok and when I stop taking it, it appears again, simetimes the effects are so strong mean specially when it take my eysles the puffy eyes are so heavy and it become normal after 24 to 36 hours. I didn't notice any particular thing that I am allergic to that in these 9 years. I will be very greatful if your advice helps me from this bad situation. King Regards

Dealing with skin issues can be tough. The puffy, itchy, red skin you mentioned might be contact dermatitis. This happens when your skin is irritated by something it touches. For you, it seems the long-term Betamethasone Injection use could have triggered it. To manage it, avoid triggers - certain products or fabrics that bother your skin. Moisturize daily and use a gentle face wash. If needed, over-the-counter antihistamines may ease symptoms. Visit a dermatologist if the problems persist.

I am 28 yo female and recently got sclerotherapy done on both legs (last Wednesday so it has been over a week). My veins have gotten worse, they are purple and more visible and quite sensitive to the touch. There is no bruising. My dermatologist said I may have had an allergic reaction to the treatment and suggested I get antihistamines. Will the veins subside?
Female | 28
Veins do appear more visible naturally after sclerotherapy treatment, but they usually improve over time as the body reabsorbs the treated veins. Its best to discuss your concerns with your dermatologist and follow the recommended treatment. Avoid prolonged sitting or standing and to wear compression stockings as recommended to decrease swelling and heal faster.

After starting this problem 2 month later I consult Dr. Then my treatment started. After starting treatment I feel good because my hair fall and Eyebrow control and get recover. From 3 months It started again.I take medicine continuously till my treatment starting. What should I do now?
Male | 19
It seems you started to feel better for a while but then relapsed. This can happen, but it's important to manage it well. Hair and eyebrow loss can be caused by stress, poor diet, hormonal changes, or excessive body fat. Visit a dermatologist to review your current situation and possibly adjust your treatment plan.

Acne and pimple. Black spot
Male | 30
Acne and pimples are skin problems many people deal with. Sometimes, after acne clears up, dark spots remain. These spots are called post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. They happen when your skin produces too much melanin due to inflammation. To help reduce these spots, keep your skin clean and avoid picking or squeezing pimples. Using products with retinoids, vitamin C, or hydroquinone may gradually lighten the spots. Wear sunscreen to prevent the spots from darkening further.

Skin problem redness or pimples
Female | 46
Your skin problem might mean redness or pimples. Clogged pores, germs, or irritants could cause it. Use a mild cleanser to help. Don't touch your face too much. Look for salicylic acid in products. Stress and diet also matter sometimes. Drink lots of water. Try relaxing. Every person's skin reacts differently. If it doesn't improve, see a dermatologist.

I am suffering from a skin problem from the last 2 years. I have red circles and itching in my private parts. What should I do now? I have been taking medicines and ointments from the last 2 years. Still it is not cured. What should I do now?
Male | 17
The skin problem which is presented with red circles & itching in the private parts is most likely due to the fungal infection. Nowadays there are lots of such problems in fungal infections in terms of the resistance of fungal infections and also in terms of the duration of treatment that is required. Ideally, you need to go through the antifungal treatment and go to the dermatologist who will guide you with the right anti-fungal treatment for a prolonged period of time. Till all the rashes go back because even if a few rashes are also left it will come back. That is why visit the nearest dermatologist.

I found a rashes on my back it painful
Male | 27
Rashes stem from varied causes – allergies, infections, irritants. Perhaps new detergent irritated skin. Or sweat-straped under clothing. To soothe discomfort, try cool compresses and anti-itch creams from the drugstore. Crucially, keep affected areas clean and dry. However, if symptoms persist or worsen, promptly consult a dermatologist.
