Can black spot rashes on skin indicate skin condition?
I am a 22 year old male and I am having rashes on my skin. It has been a month since it started. It is like black spots

Answered on 23rd May '24
These spots can be from a skin problem called dermatitis. Many common things like some soaps or clothes can make your skin mad. To fix the spots, try to stay away from the things that bother your skin. You can also put on a lotion to help your skin heal. But if the spots don't go away, it is smart to talk to a dermatologist for more help.

I have itching on my entire face and there are some rashes on my cheeks as well
Female | 21
You are most likely going through the condition of eczema. Eczema can lead to itchiness and rashes on the skin, just as you have described on your face. This can occur as a result of things like allergies or dry skin. Top this off, try using a gentle moisturizer, and stay away from any harsh soaps or products. It is also important to visit a dermatologist for the proper examination and treatment advice for your condition.

Male | 21
Most individuals aged 21 and above tolerate Omega-3 supplements well. These capsules support cardiovascular and cognitive health. However, some minor side effects may occur, like an unpleasant taste or stomach discomfort. Consuming them with food could alleviate these issues. Adhering to the manufacturer's recommended dosage is crucial. If severe adverse reactions arise, discontinue usage and consult a dermatologist immediately.

It's important to get examined by a healthcare professional, like a dermatologist or a urologist, to diagnose any concerns regarding HSV-1 or HSV-2 accurately. Avoid self-diagnosis based on appearance, as it can be misleading. Early detection and proper medical guidance are crucial for managing any potential infections.

I’m having a boil in my private part it’s increasing and not painful
Female | 29
Boils are typical and often disappear but it is better to have them treated. If you have a boil on your private part that is growing but not hurting, it may be a sign that you have an infection. Clean and fresh air is okay. You can apply warm compresses to the area to help it drain. In the case that it doesn't improve or the pain starts, you should consult a dermatologist.

Salmon patches on her face from her birth so i m worried about and how its solve problem
Female | 3months
Those light pink or red patches on your baby's face which are also known as salmon patches are quite common and usually nothing for parents to panic about. They occur when small blood vessels are near the skin. No need for treatment as they usually disappear on their own by the time the child is 1 to 2 years. Simply keep the area clean and protect against direct sunlight.

my skin is clear and normal.yet now I didn't use any serums, moisture, sunscreen . Pls suggest me Which one is best for anti-aging, maintain healthy skin for beginners. I have dark under eye . Pls suggest me best
Female | 43
To combat aging, and embrace healthy skin, consider a gentle serum containing Vitamin C. Complement this with a moisturizer infused with hyaluronic acid, and during daytime, apply sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher. Dark under-eye circles? Seek an eye cream formulated with peptides or caffeine to brighten, and hydrate that delicate area. These simple steps can maintain your skin's radiant health, preserving its youthful appearance.

Doctor iam suffering from hard dandruff please help even i had long ache on my head
Male | 17
Stubborn dandruff may be caused by a fungus on your scalp that causes the skin cells to accumulate and become flaky. Scratching too much could also be the cause of a sore head. Use a medicated shampoo that treats the fungus and calms your scalp; additionally, wash your hair gently and frequently.

I am 18 years old When I pull my hair from my head most of the time two to three hairs come out is it normal.
Male | 18
You can lose a few strands when you gently pull your hair out and that's normal. Every hair has its pattern of growing and shedding. In case you are losing only two to three hairs at the time you don't have a reason to be concerned. Generally, more hair comes out, and spotting bald spots on the scalp, is a good suggestion to talk about your case with a dermatologist.

I'm a 19 year old girl. Recently, due to personal problems and mental trauma, I cut my hands with a blade. But the cut was not deep. It's been 5-6 months and the spots are still there. I apply Azelaic Acid since few weeks, but the spots are still there. It is not like scarred scar, it just makes my skin black. Please help me to fade these dark spots, as now I feel embarassed. Please.
Female | 19
These dark spots are known as hyperpigmentation administered after skin injury therapy. This is a natural condition that occurs after any injury to the skin, such as a cut or a scrape. Azelaic Acid is a very suitable solution, but, likely, you will not see impressive outcomes soon. Vitamin C serum and products with niacinamide are also good for you. Always remember to protect your skin from the sun with sunscreen.

I want to know about genital warts
Female | 25
Genital warts result from a virus which spreads via sex; they resemble tiny bumpy growths and may appear pink or flesh-colored, sometimes causing itchiness or pain. A dermatologist should be consulted for treatment; this could involve prescribing a cream or carrying out procedures to remove them. The use of protection during sexual activity can help prevent their transmission.

I am a male 17 year old almost I suddenly was showering and checked a bump when I was checking groin area lower abdomen left side and upper part of groin area I found something that is 1 cm and I can feel it? And I checked on other side but it was very small I can feel it but not as outer side as on left side is this inguinal lymph node? Or something serious I am very tensed feeling so scared what is it , I also had ultrasound a month ago of whole abdomen I don't think it was found or seen it that because it's in lower abdomen
Male | 17
The lump you are sensing in your groin region might be an engorged inguinal lymph node. Lymph nodes can get bigger due to different reasons like a cold or a sore. Most of the time, they return to their normal size without any intervention. Mind it, if the situation gets worse, you might experience pain and other signs like fever, do visit a dermatologist.

Male | 36
Based on your description, you might have a fungal infection on the skin. This is a common symptom of burning and pain. To cure the infection, using Luliconazole Lotion would be a good place to start. Some fungal infections may require stronger treatment so you should probably consult with a dermatologist for further advice.

I'm suffering from Rashes and itching
Male | 26
Your skin has red, rough patches that itch badly. These rashes look bumpy or scaly. Itchy skin makes you want to scratch constantly. Many things cause this issue: allergies, eczema, insect bites. Fragrance-free moisturizer soothes inflamed areas. See a dermatologist if rashes worsen or don't improve.

Hi, I had sclerotherapy done on Wednesday last week. My veins look a lot worse, they as re purple and more visible, there is no brusing and they are also quite sore to the touch/I can feel tiredness in my legs. My doctor said I may have had an allergic reaction to the therapy because I am on holiday in a hot country (Brazil) and prescribed me an antihistamine. Will the veins eventually fade or will I need more treatment?
Female | 28
Bruising and discomfort after sclerotherapy are natural which normally resolves within a few days. But since you said your veins look worse and are more visible after the procedure could indicate a complication. It's good that you have already spoken with your doctor, but still experiencing discomfort or have any concerns, follow up with them promptly.
In some cases the veins may fade on their own over time, but if the issue is related to the sclerotherapy procedure, additional treatment can be needed. Its best to follow up with your doctor to discuss your options and determine the best treatment.

I have this razor bumps that has refused to go I ve used ketoconazole cream but still no results
Female | 21
At times, ingrown hairs cause little red bumps which can be annoying. I know that ketoconazole cream works great for some skin problems but I’m not sure if it would help with razor bumps. Maybe try using a mild exfoliating scrub to get rid of these pesky little bumps. Do not shave over them until they have cleared up! You might want to see a dermatologist who can give you some tailored advice if this doesn’t work.

Hi, I am a girl of 19 years old. My boyfriend has given me a love bite on my breast and on back. I wanted to ask if this is normal? As I am feeling a bit sick and feverish. I want to know if this is okay to feel such way? For more information, earlier when i got a love bite, it was on neck and i faced neck infection. I had neck swelling. It got okay after medications though. But I want to know if there are chances for swelling this time too? Something like this? Or will it be okay with time and nothing will happen? Please clear. Thanks
Female | 19
A love bite can cause fever and sickness, it's normal. Your boyfriend's bite on the breast and back may have let bacteria enter broken skin. This causes infection - swelling and tenderness. Clean the area, use warm compress, take pain meds if needed. But if pus appears or symptoms worsen, get medical help right away.
