You may be suffering from a fissure in the anus. It is a small cut in the skin lining of the anus, which can cause pain and bleeding during bowel movement. Probably, the constipation is the reason why the fissure is more irritated. To relieve the situation, a high-fiber diet, drinking more water, and avoiding exertion when defecating may be helpful. You may also use over-the-counter creams for the pain and burning feeling. If the symptoms stay or worsen, urgent attention from a gastroenterologist for further diagnosis and medical precautions is crucial.

When saftypin stay in my stomch since 2 years what's happened
Male | 22
Carrying a safety pin in your stomach for 2 long years can result in dangerous situations. You may get a tummy ache, feel like you are going to throw up, or actually, throw up. The pin can cause a tear in the lining of your stomach and be the reason for the infection. It is important to have it done through surgery. If the pin stays there it can cause other problems. A doctor must be seen immediately to get help.

"Good evening, doctor. My niece, born on July 30, 2024, has not had a proper bowel movement for six days. We previously experienced a similar issue on August 8th, waited three days, and consulted the doctor on August 11th. The prescribed Neopeptine medicine induced a bowel movement on August 12th. However, since then, she has only been urinating, with no further bowel movements. Additionally, we've noticed a white, creamy discharge in her genital area. Please advise on the next steps, doctor. Her weight remains at 2.543 kg
Female | 20 days
From the looks of it, she might be suffering from constipation, which is a condition when it is hard for the person to pass out stool. This may occur for different reasons such as dietary changes or lack of water intake. The white, creamy discharge may be the usual one, but it is best to be safe and keep an eye on it. To help her, try giving her water, fruits, and vegetables. If the problem persists, she might need to see her pediatrician for more advice.

was having itching down at my anus portion, i scratched it more and more and now its hurting. its not completely red but starting from upper part of anus just below the testicles and starting part of anus.
Male | 19
Perianal itching can be a typical symptom of hemorrhoids or anal fissures. However, there is also a chance that the continuing itchiness and pain point to a wound infection problem or other medical condition. Instead of a general visit, it might be better to consult a specialist like a gastroenterologist or proctologist.

I am 34. I am male. Blood is coming out of the toilet door because my bowels are hard. It has been going on for two or three days. No pain.
Male | 35
It appears as though you are encountering bowel difficulties. When the poop contains blood, even if there is no pain, it is abnormal. This may occur when the bowels are firm due to insufficient water consumption or fiber intake. You can attempt to soften your stool by drinking a lot of water and consuming more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. If the problem persists, schedule an appointment with a gastroenterologist for a check-up.

I am 19 years old male patient having severe ass pain for 10 days and suffering from blood coming along with stool and my pain is staying the same day by day which causing more severe pain in my ass
Male | 19
Pain in the back end along with blood in the stool is a dangerous situation. The cause of this situation might be an easily treatable condition such as hemorrhoids or an anal fissure or even an infection. To get rid of the pain and to find out the exact causes, you need to make an appointment with a gastroenterologist. They can set the stage for treatment with a check-up and that may include some medication or even a surgery.

i have a headache and diarrhea and my stomach and intestines hurt and I threw up 6 times in 2 days what could this be?
Male | 16
You might be suffering from a stomach bug. A tummy bug usually causes headaches, tummy aches, vomiting, and diarrhea. Gut infection often strikes because of germs or parasites. It's simple to stay put, drink plenty of water, and choose foods which are easy on your system like toast or crackers. When you feel nothing is getting better, visit a gastroenterologist.

Ate some bread which I believe had mold because shortly thereafter starting feeling as if I was seeing through a lens rather than first person and had a sudden hypertensive crisis with bp of 203/155. Other symptoms included feeling as if something was moving through my arteries from my leg then onto my carotid
Male | 42
Mold on bread could have caused a bad reaction. Some toxins mold produces may make you feel dizzy, impacting blood pressure. These toxins constrict arteries, risking hypertensive crisis. See a gateroenterologist quickly if symptoms don't improve.

Hello, I am 22, female, I’m struggling to eat food, I feel sick and full after a few bites, my mouth takes forever to chew and break down food, I am on holiday, and have taken 3 days off from smoking weed, I only had 1 or 2 a night anyway and would eat sober in the day, I’m worried that I will lose weight or start feeling extremely weak, I don’t know what to do as it does stay down but I can only have a few bites of everything, I’m underweight as it is anyway so this is a concern, cannot be pregnancy
Female | 22
I see that you’re having a hard time eating and you feel nauseous, especially after only eating a little bit. This could be why you’re experiencing these symptoms while taking a break from smoking marijuana. Common factors may be withdrawal from weed or even just feeling anxious. It is important to keep yourself hydrated and try having small frequent meals. You might want to talk to a gastroenterologist for more help with your situation.

Hi, I am a healthy 54 year old male. I have been doing some routine annual lab tests near my home, where they do comprehensive labs for check-up. I have been doing it for several years, and everything is basically normal. However, I just received a lab result, CA 19-9, which is elevated (44), normal is below 34. I actually had this lab test CA 19-9 way back in 7/2022, when the level was 12 (normal). Then I had it in annual testing on 9/2023, and it was 25 (but within normal limits). In the past 6-12 months, I have had normal lactate and amylase levels too. Also, all my other blood test from yesterday were normal, including liver function test (and normal bilirubin), normal CBC, normal CEA level, normal amylase, normal sedimentation rate, normal TSH, normal blood chemistry. Of note, I also had a normal DNA stool test (cologuard) 3 years ago. I also had normal FIT stool test 2 months ago, and also last year (twice it was normal). I have no symptoms and no weight loss, and no signs of jaundice. I am not overweight either, and I do not smoke nor drink alcohol. And no one in my family has had cancer before. As I mentioned, this was incidental, but I would like to know your opinion if this is ominous, and next steps. I have schedule a full body MRI scan for next week too. Thank you.
Male | 54
An increase in the level of CA 199 causes an alarm. You will get the most thorough examination if you consult a specialist. However, because CA 199 levels can be associated with certain gastrointestinal conditions, you may want to make an appointment with a gastroenterologist as well.
