25 yo female. my period was very irregular as a teenager and non existent when i had an iud from 18-22. it's been almost around 3.5 years since it was removed and I've been actively trying to conceive with my husband since. periods have been regular since iud removal... between 21-30 day cycles and 2-5 days bleeding each time. Normally, almost everything that comes out is clots. lots of blood clots, very minimal unclotted fluid ever present. Never been concerned about it, that's been my normal for as long as I can remember. this time though its different. currently cycle day 2 and not a single clot in sight. at all. so I'm looking for some advice on if that's normal, or not, or if it changing is abnormal..?
Female | 25
It is common for menstrual cycles to vary in length, especially during the first few years after you stopt birth control pills. Though the absence of clots during this period can be concerning, it is not necessarily a cause for alarm. But if you experience any other unusual symptoms such as heavy bleeding, severe pain, or unusual discharge, it is advisable to visit a gynecologist.

I have been missing my periods since a long time. They have been too irregular and have been diagnosed with PCOD earlier.
Female | 20
Irregular menstrual cycles are out of order, which can be frustrating. Such irregularities can in some cases be the effect of PCOD. One's hormones being not in balance is what leads to this, and consequently, problems with ovulation arise. Other symptoms may be the following: irregular periods, acne, and weight gain. The way PCOD is handled may include treatment options such as a healthy diet, doing exercises regularly, and sometimes, medication. It is essential to work with your gynecologist to discover the ideal solution for your case.

What is the cause of delays in periods, prolactin range 28ng?
Female | 26
When periods are delayed and prolactin levels are at 28 ng/mL, it may be due to a condition called hyperprolactinemia, which is characterized by high levels of prolactin in the blood. Symptoms can include irregular periods and milky discharge from the breasts. This condition can be caused by stress, certain medications, or a benign tumor on the pituitary gland. Treatment usually involves medication or addressing the underlying cause.

Female | 29
You could be suffering from atypical vaginal bleeding. Spotting in between periods can arise for many reasons. Hormonal imbalances, stress, or even Trym's pills can cause this to happen. Fatigue can be a symptom of many other conditions such as anemia or thyroid issues. Monitor your symptoms and see a gynecologist for a correct examination.

I have not been sexually active for 3 months now but I did get my period for the last month however this month it is late. Also since I stopped being sexually active I have stopped my birth control. Does that affect my period or what are the chances of me being pregnant?
Female | 28
It’s common for your periods to be irregular after stopping birth control, even if you haven't been sexually active. When you stop taking the pill, your body readjusts its natural hormone balance, which can cause a delayed period. The chance of pregnancy is very low since there has been no sexual intercourse. Give your body time to settle, and your cycle should return to normal soon. If you have concerns, feel free to consult your gynecologist for personalized advice.

i took Norethisterone to push back my peroid but it still hasn’t come back shouls I be worried I’m pregnant ?
Female | 15
Various factors, including psychological strain or hormonal imbalances, might be responsible. Pregnancy represents a potential cause, but it is not the sole possibility. Be aware of any accompanying symptoms like nausea or breast sensitivity. If concerns persist, using a pregnancy test can provide clarity. In situations of uncertainty, consulting a gynecologist is the best course of action.

The first day of my last period was April 1st and my expected ovulation date was April 17th. I had sex on the 13th/14th and took plan B in the morning of the 14th; I had sex again on the 19th/20th and took plan B on the morning of the 20th and I had sex on the 28th and took the plan B immediately. I am not on any contraceptive medication and my partner pulled out before ejaculating - so he said. I washed up immediately and took the pills. My period is late now and I don’t want to be pregnant. I have take about 6 pregnancy test and they were all negative, not even a faint line of positive which is relieve. But my period is a day late and I’m worried. I took a test this morning and it was still negative. I feel tired, bloated, heightened smell, and I urinate frequently. What do I do?
Female | 26
These signs can mean your hormone levels changed. Stress or being anxious can also make you feel this way. It's good your pregnancy tests were negative - you're likely not pregnant. Your period may be late because of stress, life changes, or hormone shifts. Keep track of how you feel. If your period still doesn't come in a few days, see a gynecologist.

I am 15 years old and I am very sexually active. Me and my partner haven’t used protection in a long time. I have been very red, irritated, and itchy down there and it’s very uncomfortable. what should I do? What could it be??
Female | 15
You might have a yeast infection. When the balance of the good and bad bacteria in your body is upset, yeast infections can occur. A burning sensation, redness, and irritation are common symptoms of a yeast infection in your private area. To relieve the discomfort, you may try over-the-counter antifungal creams. It is important to discuss this with a trusted adult or a gynecologist for proper assessment and treatment.

It has been 24 days passed for sexual intercourse and even I got my periods after that is it possible to get pregnant after getting periods as there is stomach pain
Female | 21
Stomach pain after intercourse and getting your period can have different causes. Stomach pain sometimes occurs even after your period if you have an infection or there are problems with your reproductive organs. If you were involved in intercourse without protection, although the chances are not so high, you might still be pregnant despite your period. Other causes of pain include both diagnosed problems and undiagnosed physical conditions. For that matter, taking a pregnancy test or seeing your gynecologist is another option.

I am 30 years old. I have periods with limited bleeding flow about 1 day to 1 and half day every month, noted it in past 6 months with regular cycle of 24 to 28 days. I have 8 years old child. As I'm planning for second child, I used letrozole last 3 months with doctor prescription. Test report My AMH level is 1.0 ng/ml and thyroid test normal, Male semen analysis normal. What can I do now
Female | 30
Based on your description, your light periods and low AMH count might indicate a lower reserve of ovarian eggs, which can make it challenging to conceive. Since you are already on Letrozole and have been trying to conceive for a while, it would be beneficial to discuss other fertility treatments with your doctor. Options such as ovulation induction or in vitro fertilization (IVF) could be considered. Working closely with an IVF specialist will help you achieve your goal of having a second child.

It's important to look into why your period is missing. Stress, drastic weight changes, hormones, and certain health conditions, such as Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), are possible causes. Monitor your hair growth or acne as they may be symptoms of the condition. To help manage your period, keep a healthy lifestyle with regular exercise, a balanced diet, and enough rest. If the problem persists, see a gynecologist.

If someone is 4 weeks pregnant and the conception window shows may 8th-10Th. Is it possible that when they had sex in the 8th they got pregnant or on the 5th?
Female | 25
Indeed you can get pregnant if you had sex on the 8th. Sperm can live inside the body for a few days so if ovulation happened shortly after on the 10th then pregnancy could occur. Some symptoms like a missed period tiredness and tenderness of the breasts may start showing. If you suspect that you are pregnant take it easy a home pregnancy test to confirm.

Periods problem last week low flow this week heavier
Female | 20
Having a low flow one week, and a heavy flow the next week is pretty normal. This could be because of hormonal changes in your body. Stress, diet, and how you sleep can also affect your periods. If you experience severe pain during this time or notice any unusual odors or bleeding for longer than usual then please speak with a gynecologist.
