Pneumonia is inflammation of lungs.. Viruses, bacteria and fungi can infect lungs. Cough, Fever, chest PAIN, shortness of breath occur.. Treatment is based on type of pneumonia.. Antibiotics, antivirals, and antifungals may be used.. Rest and HYDRATION advised. Prevention includes vaccination and HANDWASHING. Seek medical attention if symptoms persist...
