I took a pregnancy test and it came out negative and got my period but I’m really bloated and constipated. Can I be pregnant even if I got my period three days later after having sex?
Female | 17
It's Unlikely THAT you're pregnant if you got your period.. Bloating and constipation are common PMS symptoms.. Stress Can also cause similar symptoms.. However, if you miss your next period, take another test OR consult your doctor.. Always use CONTRACEPTION to prevent unwanted pregnancy..

Is it safe to have sex two days after period ended and after sex within one hour I took I pill am i safe from pregnancy and actually my period started on saturday night and ended on Tuesday so on Friday we had sex and after one hour I took I pill am i safe from pregnancy
Female | 28
Sometimes, someone may get pregnant despite having sex two days after their period ends because sperm can populate the woman's body for up to 5 days. That was an ideal way of decreasing the risk of pregnancy to take an emergency contraceptive pill, however, they are not fully efficient in the prevention of pregnancy. It is important to remember that emergency contraceptive pills are not a replacement for your regular contraceptive method. If you are concerned about pregnancy, then a gynecologist can provide you with general information and check if you need a more suited contraceptive means.

I am in 27 week pregnancy n in grow scan lateral ventricle measures 9mm which was previously 7mm in tiffa scan at 19 week.. whether it will be normal or grow i am worried.. dual marker test was negative as well as other routine scans like nt/nb, tiffa all are ok with no issue at all..
Female | 26
An increase in the measurement of the lateral ventricles in fetal ultrasound, especially if it's a mild increase, may not necessarily indicate a severe issue. It's important to remember that ultrasound measurements can sometimes have a margin of error. Please consult a gynecologist in your locality for proper diagnosis.

Can hiv trasmission occur through transvaginal ultrasound
Female | 20
Transvaginal ultrasound is safe against HIV disease transmission. HIV is a disease transmitted via infected fluids such as blood, not through ultrasound tools. Symptoms of HIV look like the flu. To stop the infection use protection during seduction. Testing frequently will help to find the infection early. In case you doubt HIV, you should have a conversation with your gynecologist to get some information and support.

It's been almost a month since i am bleeding and my doctor has prescribed Styplon Himalayan tablets which i took twice a day fot a week but it didn't work then I checked with another Gynaec and she advised to take Pause 500mg twice a day and I am taking it since 2 days but still i am bleeding and sometimes i get blood clots as well. Please recommend how can I stop my periods instantly as these medicines aren't working or shall i take Pause 500mg for few more days. Please help. And is it something serious or normal in PCOS. Please help.
Female | 30
Your periods involve heavy bleeding, which can feel difficult. With PCOS, hormone issues cause unpredictable periods and heavy flows. The Pause 500mg pills you're aiming to stop the bleeding, but may need some days. In PCOS, heavy periods sometimes happen, yet if bleeding persists extensively or severe pain arises, consult your gynecologist.

I am a 14 year old female with concerns about developing PCOS because a family memeber of mine (Mother) has it
Female | 14
PCOS is a situation when your hormones are out of balance due to some factors like irregular menstrual cycles, the occasional pimple breakout, and sometimes being overweight, etc. But really, it can be treated in time and doesn't pass from person to person, therefore, be cautious. Certainly, one way to do it is by consuming the right food and getting you moving every day. If you suspect, go and get checked by a gynecologist.

Female | 19

I am currently on the Evra birth control patches. I put one on once a week for three weeks and on the 4th week I wear none and get my period. However I am on holidays and forgot to bring my patches. I currently have my week 1 patch on and the time has come to change it, what should i do ?
Female | 18
If you have missed more than 24 hours of the change time that was determined for you, then your protection against pregnancy might not be optimal. It is therefore advisable to use an alternative contraceptive method for the next one week and immediately seek medical attention from your obstetrician-gynecologist. They can also tell you what to do further and ensure that you are still safe from pregnancy.

My wife age is 48 did we can go ivf
Female | 48
At the age of 48, the fertility of women is diminished and they face difficulties in getting pregnant. IVF is a way to solve such problems. IVF is a technology where the gametes of the male and female are combined outside the body. Even though one may be at a more advanced stage of life, it is entirely possible to have a successful outcome. Nonetheless, older women will have to deal with the diminished probability of success due to their age. Have a discussion about this with an IVF specialist.

I am a male ,and having difference in breast size , and after touching while sleeping I can feel some tissues in bigger one , my age is 29 years
Male | 29
The mass you feel in the larger part could be a sign of gynecomastia. It is due to the uneven formation of the right and left breast parts. It is not of the essence to seek the doctor's advice but in case you are uncomfortable other than talking to the doctor, you can go to the hospital to check the asymmetry.

Vagina smell and high water flow
Female | 28
This might be a sign of bacterial vaginosis, which happens when the balance of bacteria in the vagina is off. No need to worry—it's common and usually not serious. It's a good idea to see a doctor who can prescribe antibiotics or vaginal gels to treat it. Avoid using douching or scented products, as they can make it worse. Many women experience this, so getting it from a gynecologist can help.

Hi, My blood type is A-. I had an abortion and was not able to take anti d within 72 hrs. Will it affect future pregnancies?
Female | 24
Not having anti-D within 72 hours after an abortion may pose a potential threat to future pregnancies. If you are Rh-negative and the fetus is Rh-positive, you are at risk of complications. This mismatch can make your system generate antibodies that may interfere with future pregnancies of Rh-positive blood. You must visit your gynecologist the alternatives and the possible complications concerning your case.

I suffer from periods issue ,,when i started weight gaining foods start gaining some weight ,,,blood amount increases in body . I start to suffer from heavy menustral flow
Female | 25
Weight gain could be the reason for your heavy periods. It can lead to hormonal changes, increasing blood volume and resulting in heavier periods. This happens because fat cells produce estrogen, which affects the menstrual cycle. To help regulate your periods, try maintaining a healthy weight by incorporating a balanced diet and regular exercise into your routine.
