Heavy periods not stopping
Female | 20
Periods can be heavy, and it’s concerning when they don’t stop. You might bleed a lot, need many pads, and feel tired and in pain. The causes can be hormonal changes, fibroids, or issues with the uterus lining. Treatment depends on the cause—iron pills for anemia, medication to balance hormones, or surgery for fibroids. Your gynecologist will help with diagnosis and treatment.

Yes, a simple blood test can diagnose pregnancy by checking the level of hormones in the blood. Nevertheless, a visit to see a gynecologist for verification and guidance is mandatory.

i did a pregnancy test today’s morning T line is darker than the C line. What will it be?
Female | 26
If the T line (test) looks darker than the C line (control), it often signals pregnancy. Early signs can be fatigue, nausea, or breast tenderness. This happens when hCG hormone levels rise. Seeing a positive result plus symptoms means visiting a gynecologist to confirm the pregnancy makes sense.

I'm having issues with my period, the last proper period I had was probably in October after that I guess maybe in December I started slightly lighter period which wasn't regular it lasted really long maybe for a month or more it started light then slowly got a little bit heavier but not that heavy it was enough to fill in 2 pads a day then it started getting lighter again and eventually stopped. After that I was fine for 2 or3 weeks until a slight period started again but this time it didn't get heavy, this also lasted for a month and sometimes it was like the blood is mixed with the discharge now it's stopped but I'm afraid it might start again

Female | 30
Having a feeling of being pregnant but continuously receiving negative results can be perplexing. Some common signs of early pregnancy are nausea, fatigue, and breast tenderness. Additionally, stress or other factors can affect your menstrual cycle, causing it to be lighter or shorter than usual. It is important that you have taken tests already, however, continue watching out for any new symptoms or changes. If you are concerned, speak with a gynecologist for advice.

I recently had unprotected anal sex. Ejaculate was expelled shortly afterwards and then I took a shower. Less a few hours later, my partner placed a finger in anal cavity and then into my vagina; could this result in a pregnancy? Thanks….
Female | 23
When an egg is fertilized, that is called pregnancy. A sperm can swim and it can live for a little while outside the body. Pregnancy may occur if any sperm gets into your vagina. Keep an eye on strange symptoms such as missed periods or feeling sick (nausea). If you’re concerned, take a pregnancy test to put your mind at ease.

Please my depo shot end last year Dec and my period return on the January till now with 28days circle length but i cannot get pregnant
Female | 33
The Depo shot may delay your fertility for a while after it wears off because it takes some time for the body to readjust. Besides, stress, change in weight, or any other illness could affect how fertile you become. It would be good if you tried tracking ovulation while seeing a gynecologist regularly for check-ups.

I missed my period and I did a pregnancy test and it says positive , I want to know I am how much weeks pregnant to terminate the pregnancy .
Female | 25
Missing your period and a positive test likely mean 4-6 weeks along. You might feel nauseous, exhausted, or breast tenderness. Pregnancy happens when sperm fertilizes an egg. If terminating, consult a gynecologist about options - they'll advise and help determine the right choice for you.

Female | 29
A healthy period can be missed for many reasons, not only because of a pregnancy. Stress, hormonal imbalances, rapid weight fluctuations, or even some medications can considerably affect your cycle. Norethisterone is another drug that can cause your period to be delayed. If you are concerned, discuss it with a gynecologist to find out the exact cause and get the appropriate advice.

Iam two and half months pregnant and now I am experiencing little spotting and bleeding
Female | 30
It's normal for pregnant women to sometimes experience light spotting or bleeding early on. This can be caused by hormonal changes or when the embryo implants in the uterus. However, it's always important to inform your gynecologist about any bleeding during pregnancy. They will check to ensure everything is fine.

How long does it take to get pregnant after sex
Female | 19
Sperm usually travel from the vagina to the fallopian tubes within 6 and 10 hours after having intercourse. Fertilization happens in these tubes. If there is an egg in the fallopian tube, something which may happen within minutes of the sperm's arrival, fertilization can occur. A visit to the gynecologist should not be avoided in case of any fertility issues.

PCOS can cause irregular periods, acne, hair growth, and difficulty getting pregnant. High insulin and low estradiol levels are among the possible PCOS factors. Eating healthy foods, exercising, and sometimes medication can help PCOS. It's important to meet with a gynecologist for a proper diagnosis and treatment plan.

Having a period every 10 days for two months is not usual. It may be caused by hormonal imbalances, stress, or some drugs you have been taking. If in addition, you lose too much blood during such periods feeling tired and having pain in your stomach, then visiting a gynecologist becomes inevitable.
