I have a 65% baldhead. How much cost for a hair transplant and how many sittings would be required?

Hello P Balakrishna, The cost will depend on your baldness level and the technique you choose. And as you have mentioned the percentage of your baldness, it clearly tells that the baldness level of yours is between level 4 and level 5. For this baldness level you require 2500 grafts to 4500 grafts and per graft cost for Rs. 30 to Rs. 120 Approx. You will require 1-2 sittings this might take 2 days. For clear idea about the treatment you need to visit Dermatologist in Ahmedabad. Hope our answer helps.

I am an 18-year-old girl who has been experiencing small white itchy bumps on my inner labia. They look similar to hair bumps or pimples. I've had them for about 6 years. They did go away at one point but later showed back up. I've gotten them after shaving.
Female | 18
You might be suffering from ingrown hairs or folliculitis on your inner labia. The condition can develop after shaving when the hair starts to grow back and then grows into the skin. It is a very common condition that is usually not serious. To prevent this, you may try gentle shaving techniques or completely avoid shaving in that area. Keeping the area dry and clean is another way to go. If the bumps become painful or get worse, consult a dermatologist for further evaluation and treatment.

I am 16 year old male, and have been concerning for my itchy scrotum for the last 13 days. I also discovered black spots randomly distributed on the scrotum
Male | 18
The itchy scrotum and black spots may be signs of a fungal infection or a skin disease. I recommend you to see a dermatologist for proper diagnosis and treatment. Do not delay any further as this situation could get worse if it is not treated.

My sister has a severe allergy to benzoyl peroxide. Her face and neck were swelling in the area of contact last night.
Female | 37
An allergic response occurs when your body sees a substance as harmful. It swells to shield itself. Her swelling shows benzoyl peroxide triggered an allergic reaction. Dodging benzoyl peroxide products and consulting a dermatologist about alternative treatments that won't cause an allergy is wise.

Ingrown nail. Looking for dermatologist
Male | 23
In case of an ingrown nail, it is recommended to visit a dermatologist. They can evaluate the severity of the other ingrown nail, provide its proper care and offer treatment alternatives. In mild cases, soaking the affected area in warm water and lifting gently under the ingrown edge may work. On the contrary, in case of more severe ingrown nail or recurrent one surgical intervention is indicated. Do not try to deal with it yourself to avoid complications or infections. The healthcare professional should be consulted for proper treatment specific to your case.

There is no one-size-fits-all solution for dark spots and pigmentation on the face. The best approach is to visit a dermatologist to get a personalized treatment plan that is tailored to your specific needs. The dermatologist may recommend a combination of topical medications, light treatments, and laser therapy to help minimize the appearance of discoloration.

I have Fungal dermatitis on my face, neck & back and it won’t go away. I’m not sure the cause (cessation of birth control, overuse of other products, diet, etc) but when I treat it with anti-fungal products it sometimes diminishes, but keeps returning. This has gone on for 6 months. Can someone PLEASE point me in the right direction?
Female | 32
You may have a persistent form of fungal dermatitis. There are symptoms such as red itchy patches on the back, neck, and face. The fungus does well on the skin in warm places with lots of moisture. The causes can be triggered by changes in hormones, using too much products, or eating habits. Keep the areas clean and dry should be done to solve this problem. It would worsen the condition if heavy oils or creams are applied because of this reason. Also, make sure anti-fungal medications are used as directed only. Do not share personal items like clothes and towels with others if you don’t want them to get infected. If the condition does not go away, please visit a dermatologist.

Hello doc..I have painful rashes all over my body that later turn into scaly patches. What is my diagnosis
Female | 26
These rashes could mean psoriasis, a condition where immune issues make skin cells grow too fast. It causes red, itchy patches to turn scaly. To treat psoriasis, doctors may prescribe medicines and creams. These help ease symptoms and slow cell growth. But see a dermatologist for proper diagnosis and the right care.

Female | 37
This could be a case of hyperhidrosis, a condition where the body produces more sweat than normal. Sticky skin may also occur in humid weather or when one is sweating excessively. You can try using antiperspirants or powders to keep the skin dry. Drink plenty of water and put on loose-fitting clothes made from breathable materials. If the stickiness persists, it would be best to consult with a dermatologist who will provide personalized advice and treatment options.

This can happen for reasons such as infection, or the fact that you have an allergy. A swelling on both sides can be a realization of a systemic issue. To reduce the swelling, you can try a cold compress and head elevation. Drinking water and not eating salty foods can also be ways to better the condition. It's crucial to make an appointment with a dermatologist for the right diagnosis and cure.

I have face acne something like white watery pimples on my face from past few days
Female | 22
Your face seems to have clear, fluid-filled pimples - a kind of acne. Acne develops when oil and dead cells obstruct hair follicles. Hormonal changes, stress, or oily skincare products trigger it. Gently wash your face twice daily with a mild cleanser, avoiding squeezing pimples. Try over-the-counter benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid acne treatments. Drink lots of water. Eat a balanced diet for healthy skin. If acne persists, consult a dermatologist for guidance.

I have very uneven skintone and pimples. I am looking to get a clear face skin.
Female | 20
The uneven skin tone could be due to pigmentation caused by acne. It can be treated with certain depigmentation or lightening creams like kojic acid, arbutin, etc. Also, the golden rule is to always apply sunscreen to prevent exacerbation of the existing pigmentation and also for its prevention. You can also consult Dermatology for further information.

I'm 39 from Nigeria. I have a black, cone-like lump on the upper left side of my belly. It started as small bump some years back but with time developed to 2cm in diameter. It's very hard. I feel pain around it each time I'm nervous and itchy sometimes. I have had scan conducted but didn't reveal exactly what it's.. it suggested that Stony bump appears like degenerating Lipoma. .
Male | 39
This hard mass might be a lipoma, which is usually harmless and consists of fat cells. These growths mainly develop under the skin and grow slowly over time. Although it is good that you have had a scan, sometimes further tests are necessary for conclusive results. However, if it is very painful or bothers you a lot, consider consulting with a surgeon who may recommend its removal.

For the right diagnosis and treatment, it’s best to consult a dermatologist, who can guide you based on her specific symptoms.

Hello, can someone with syphillis with a 1:2 titer still be infectious?
Male | 28
Syphilis, even with low levels, remains contagious. It spreads through intimate contact. The bacteria behind syphilis causes sores, rashes, fever, and body pains. But don't worry, antibiotics like penicillin can cure it. However, remember - symptoms disappearing doesn't mean the infection's gone. Getting proper treatment matters. So, be vigilant. If concerned, see a dermatologist now.
