Severe Allergic Reaction to Benzoyl Peroxide

My sister has a severe allergy to benzoyl peroxide. Her face and neck were swelling in the area of contact last night.

An allergic response occurs when your body sees a substance as harmful. It swells to shield itself. Her swelling shows benzoyl peroxide triggered an allergic reaction. Dodging benzoyl peroxide products and consulting a dermatologist about alternative treatments that won't cause an allergy is wise.

All fingers have warts please treatment

Male | 18

Warts on the fingers may be caused by this virus named HPV that gets into the skin through cuts or breaks in. Warts are raised lumps that sometimes have tiny black dots. To treat them you can try over-the-counter wart treatments or get a doctor's prescription. Wash your hands often and dry them well to avoid contamination of others with warts.

Hello doctor, I am 36 years old male and I have had mycosis fungoides for around 3-4 years. My staging concluded as 1A. I have not received any systemic chemotherapy, I have received only topical treatment with clobetasol and bexarotene creams and now my patches are mostly gone. I haven't had serious new patches in more than a year. I am about to get married and start a family. And my question is, can I have kids while having mycosis fungoides ? Would it increase the chances of my kids to have MF ?

Male | 36

Yes, you can have kids with mycosis fungoides. However, it is advised to discuss your plans with your dermatologist who can help guide you through the process. While there is no known risk of your children developing mycosis fungoides, it is important to monitor your children for any skin changes and to seek medical attention if any concerns arise.

Am I balding or not? Please help

Male | 16

It is hard to diagnose your balding without a professional examination. If you are worried about hair loss, you should visit a dermatologist who is a specialist in hairs loss problems. They can analyze your condition and give you optimal care.

I am a 22 year old female, my breasts have become more pale and sensitive as of late, and am unsure why.

Female | 22

Breasts changing color and feeling more sensitive is common. This could happen due to hormones, irritated skin, or blood flow changes. Look for other issues like pain or lumps too. If changes last or worry you, talk to a doctor for a checkup.

I am a 18 year old male and im concuabout having hsv 1 and hsv 2, i was a little worried about what they look like because i saw something that looked unusual in both places.

Male | 18

It's important to get examined by a healthcare professional, like a dermatologist or a urologist, to diagnose any concerns regarding HSV-1 or HSV-2 accurately. Avoid self-diagnosis based on appearance, as it can be misleading. Early detection and proper medical guidance are crucial for managing any potential infections.
