Hello, Mostly, the dermatologist removes moles either with surgical excision or with a surgical shave. You may need stitches if the doctor uses the excision method of removal. But without examination, it will be difficult to recommend any method or treatment. We would suggest that you come for a consultation at the clinic. Common procedures are laser therapy, excision or cryotherapy depending on the type and size of moles. Based on the methods chosen, number of moles or location can vary dramatically in costs. It is essential to seek advice from a dermatologist or any skincare specialist who could analyze your situation, suggest appropriate options and give an idea of the possible costs. The removal procedure should be carried out by a licensed practitioner to ensure safety and reduce the degree of scarring.

I'm 20 years old female, Im having mouth ucers on and off. What could be the issue? Can I use omeprazole tablets for this?
Female | 20
Stress, neglecting oral hygiene, and certain foods can cause mouth ulcers. Usually, Omeprazole tablets are not used for the treatment of mouth ulcers as they mainly aid with stomach issues. For the treatment of ulcers, you can use over-the-counter remedies such as oral gels or rinses to reduce the pain and facilitate the healing process. Do not forget to maintain a proper dental hygiene routine and a balanced diet to keep them from returning.

I noticed a small circle which is purpley black on my penis around the outside and more purple in the middle do I need to be worried
Male | 15
The purple-black circle around your penis area could be a bruise. Or, it might be a blood vessel you can see now. Maybe it happened from an injury. Or, some friction during physical activities caused it. If it doesn't hurt or itch, it will probably heal by itself. But, if you see any changes or feel discomfort, talk to a dermatologist. They can check it out and make sure everything's okay.

Male | 20
Purple blood vessels on the skin can look unusual, but they're usually not a big deal. Increased pressure might make them more noticeable. If there's no pain or other symptoms, it's probably nothing to worry about. Try elevating your legs and avoiding standing for too long. However, if you're concerned, see a dermatologist for treatment.

The combination of fevers, dandruff, and changes in your tongue can stem from various causes, including infections or other health conditions, but they do not necessarily indicate HIV. Your blood tests show fluctuating white blood cell counts, which may reflect your body's response to something. It's crucial to consult a dermatologist for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate tests, including those for HIV if you’re at risk. They can help alleviate your concerns and guide you towards the right solutions.

I am a 33-year-old man, and I donated blood on January 20th. After the donation, A small, light brown dot appeared on the area where the needle was inserted. I’ve donated blood 5 times so far, and no such dots have appeared before. When I asked the blood bank about it, they told me that it would disappear on its own. However, it still hasn’t completely faded. It has been 52 days so far. My questions are: Will this dot take more days or months to completely fade? Is this normal, or should I be worried?
Male | 33
It’s understandable to be concerned about the appearance of a dot after your blood donation. Such marks can result from minor bruising or the body's response to the needle. Typically, these spots fade within a few weeks, but occasionally, they may linger longer. Since you’ve noticed it for 52 days, it’s advisable to monitor it. If you experience any changes, such as increasing size, pain, or redness, please consult a dermatologist for an in-person evaluation. Generally, these skin changes resolve without complications, but a doctor can provide reassurance and further guidance.

Using steroids long years. How to stop. Even i stop this my skin was dull and dark
Female | 20
If you've used steroids frequently, quitting them may make your skin look lifeless and discolored. That's because steroids impact how skin produces pigment. To improve your skin, you'll need medical help to slowly reduce then stop using steroids. Be patient - recovery takes time. Eat well, drink water, and wear sunscreen. See a dermatologist if you're worried about your complexion or have other concerns.

A spot on your face can occur when your oil glands or sweat glands become blocked. Using a mild soap and water, cleanse your face gently twice a day.
