Interpreting LFT Results: AST, ALT, Alkaline Phosphatase
I have done blood test (LFT), below are the results. Can you please comment something on below result. Aspartate Aminotransferase (AST/SGOT) result is 38. Alanine Aminotransferase (ALT/SGPT) result is 67. Alkaline Phosphatase result is 166.

Your liver looks a little stressed. The ALT level is high, which shows possible liver damage. The Alkaline Phosphatase is also elevated. Causes could be alcohol, fatty liver, or medication side effects. Eat healthy foods. Avoid drinking alcohol. See a gastroenterologist for more tests.

Hello. Two weeks ago, during weight training, I had a sudden pain in my lower abdominal. It was so painful that I could not move. I thought it might be cramping, but it worsened every second and in addition, I did not have any period for almost 4 months. I am 15 years old. Though, earlier in the morning before I had this unexpected pain, I had a little spotting. I have then been to the emergency room, where after 3 hours my pain stopped. I have been suspected with a small cyst rupture, however, there was no evidence indicating that the cyst had ruptured. We have done both lab works and an ultrasound and everything was absoultly normal. It is also important to mention that I had a cyst a year ago, but then it disappeared as we did another ultrasound, but for the last year I did not check it. 3 days after my pain, I have done another ultrasound and everything was fine. Another thing to mention, during the day I was at the ER, I came home and I had straight blood when I peed. The next day everything was absolutely normal without any spotting neither red or brown, everything was clear. Since then I have been having pain when I am doing sports activities and when my lower abdomendan is touched. (both left and right side). However, in the last couple days I have been having servere pain in my upper left abdomonen. When I had that terrible pain, it was mainly on the left side. Currently I am having severe pain on my upper left side, and additionally I always have a pain of hunger that feels as my stomach is sore and burns. What is going on? Can it be related to a spleen? Gastritis? Maybe there was not cyst burst?

I am55 years old lady suffering from upper abdomen pain after having meals my stomach feels floating i cannot eat properly . and always i am having short essay of breath Last five months back i was admitted in the hospital for stomach pain and severe animea i took 4 unit blood since my hemoglobin was 5 that time the dr did endoscopy and colonoscopy but my colonoscopy swas ok but endoscopy Hiatus hernia grade 2 was diagnosed but still I facing the same problem

My child is having stomach ache since last 2 or 3 days. Yesterday he had ache 3 to 4 tines and he has been going to washroom each time. The stool is normal and not loose. He is 8 now. Since he was 3.5 years old he had habbit of going to.potty after 3 to 4 days and it extended till 6 to 7 days also. The potty was very hard and a single loop hard to flush. But since last 4 days he is complaining of stomach ache and going to.potty each time. The stool is normal and soft as compared to previous times and flushable. Please suggest.

I advise you to take your child to a doctor. Based on proper evaluation and diagnosis, the doctor will be able to determine whether the problem faced is due some underlying medical issue such as food intolerance, infection or some other reason. Based on that, treatment may be suggested which may include certain dietary and lifestyle changes, medications etc.

I take opioids for recreational use and also for anxiety. They have been a life saver for me. But now all of a sudden I am experiencing extreme constipation. It is worth nothing I've had chronic constipation issues my whole life pretty much. I took 2 glasses of MiraLax and 3 Dulcolax stimulant laxatives.

Taking MiraLax and Dulcolax was a good start, but it's also important to drink plenty of water and eat high-fiber foods to help improve the condition. I am 24yrs old female and i have a lots of itching in my anus and while passing stools blood comes out and there is pain. Due to this i have a lots of trouble in sitting or walking and no matter how much food i eat i am able to paas stools only after 3 days..i checked my anus and i saw extra skin around the anus so please tell me what should i do??

I was diagnosed with intestine obsertruction on 04 May 24, Subsequently, I was treated with antibiotics and painkillers. Urine catheter was inserted on 05/05/24 and removed on 10/05/24. However, I am having irritation (burning) while urination and bleeding on first urination in the morning. I am in constant pain.

I'm not sure from when bubble or foamy urine started.but I noticed it on 28th August night. later I found more bubble in urine at 29th August night and 30th August morning... now The bubble or foam is present during morning after waking up..but due to drinking too much water , the rest of the day the bubbles becomes almost zero or very few ...after flush there are still 5-6 bubbles stays that bursts after few seconds.. I'm giving the photo of today's urine after waking up in the morning (3rd September).. one thing to mention that I'm taking rablet 20 before breakfast everyday.. I had Pangastritis and H.pylori infection one year ago...later it's found that H.pylori is gone but still gastritis is present in small area.. now a days I'm also having a little problem with fart(gas) and very mild pain in lower back that can not be felt until given full attention.

The foam in your urine may provide certain medications like Rablet 20 as a possible cause. Hi. It’s regarding my younger sister she’s 4. After Eid, she stopped eating and lost weight a bit. But she’s been eating well again for the last 2 weeks so her appetite is back to normal. She had an ear infection and flu right before she lost her appetite but her appetite loss happened after finishing the antibiotics. However, over the past months she always says ‘my leg hurts’ and she says it’s her ankle. It doesn’t make her cry or anything and it doesn’t stop her playing like a wild animal ???? but today she has blood in her poo and on tissue when wiping it was bright red blood it’s happened before when she was constipated she didn’t drink much water yesterday and my other sister also got the norovirus so it could be that- her poo was watery. She also catches colds frequently
