irregular PERIODS can be NORMAL, but two weeks is excessive. It's important to see a doctor to identify the underlying cause. There are many possible reasons, including HORMONAL imbalances, thyroid problems, FIBROIDS, or polyps.. Your doctor may recommend a pelvic exam, an ultrasound, or blood tests to identify the problem..It's important to address this issue as excessive bleeding can lead to anemia and other complications. Don't hesitate to seek medical attention.

I am 8 weeks pregnant and have several fibroids that have caused me backache, lower abdominal pain, bleeding for 4 days. What treatment can I have?
Female | 38
You may have symptoms caused by fibroids in your uterus. Fibroids are non-cancerous growths that can lead to backache, lower abdominal pain, and abnormal bleeding. At 8 weeks pregnant, it's important to consult your gynecologist. They might suggest monitoring the fibroids closely and managing symptoms with rest, pain relief, or other treatments if needed.

I'm a 21 yr female I have question that if I'm taking ethinylestradiol and cyproterone acetate tablets and had unprotected sex is there a chance of pregnancy and before sex I have been taking this pills from 2-3 days
Female | 21
Contraception is the most common application of ethinylestradiol and cyproterone acetate tablets. Almost always, if you are taking the tablets in the indicated manner, you won't get pregnant. However, if you made love without putting on a condom during 2-3 days of pill usage, you might get pregnant. Other signs of pregnancy are headache, shooting pains in the abdomen, and swollen feet. In addition to the tablets, identify other birth control and ask about it from a gynecologist if you want to be on the safe side.

Your periods are coming for two months, yet you worry about pregnancy - which can occur due to hormonal imbalances. My wife is 9 months pregnant and her sugar level is high. So I need some suggestions and how she can have a normal baby in this situation or not. The last baby is already born by cesarean.
Female | 28
If your wife's sugar levels are high during pregnancy, it's important to consult a specialist, such as an obstetrician or a maternal-fetal medicine specialist. They can provide personalized advice and monitoring to help manage her condition and ensure the best possible outcome for both her and the baby.

36weeks pregnant doctor advised that fpp test ultrasound.. what's the meaning of fpp USG?
Female | 27
FPP ultrasound, short for 'fetal biophysical profile ultrasound,' is a special test ordered by your doctor to check your baby's health at 36 weeks. This test evaluates your baby's movements, muscle tone, breathing, and overall well-being to ensure everything is normal. It's a routine test to confirm that the fetus is healthy and won't need any intervention.

About unwanted pregnancy
Female | 20
An unwanted pregnancy is an occurrence when the woman gets pregnant purposefully without any prior planning. The symptoms may encompass missing periods or getting the sensation of being nauseous. This may ensue when either the birth control methods are improperly followed or they fail. If this is the case, visiting a gynecologist is one of the most important things.

Hello, Dr.! My girlfriend and I had a sexual encounter. We had oral sex and fingered each other. However, our genitals accidentally touched two or three times for a few seconds each. There was no penetration during the deed; just the Penis touched the vulva; there was no rubbing or ejaculating anywhere near her (I ejaculated 5-10 mins after the touching of our genitals). But I was scared because of the genital touching and fingering (I did not ejaculate on my hand and after ejaculation I did not touch her genitals and I did fingering before oral sex), so I began reading articles on the internet, and all of them stated that there is a chance of getting pregnant because pre-cum contains sperms. She also had her periods on June 10, 2022, and we were engaged in this action on June 19 , 2022. She also took an i-pill within 24 hours as a precaution. Is there any hope of becoming pregnant?

My period comes later and is followed by brown discharge and fleshy blobs
Female | 16
If you are getting brown discharges and flesh blobs instead of a normal period, this may be a sign of abnormally heavy bleeding. I will strongly suggest you go to a gynecologist and have a thorough examination as well as a diagnosis done.

I am spotting and not actually having regular period
Female | 16
Light bleeding, no period - that could happen for multiple reasons. Stress is one; hormone changing is another. Starting or stopping birth control pills might cause it, too. If you've had sex recently, pregnancy is something to check. Keep an eye on things; if it persists a few cycles, see a gynecologist. They can pinpoint the cause and advise the next steps.

Possible pregnancy, no discharge, 5 missed days late period, fever since yesterday. 34 years old
Female | 34
Missing a period and having a fever could indicate an infection or other health issue. You might consider taking a pregnancy test since pregnancy can also cause a late period. If you notice any changes in your health, monitor your situation closely, and don't hesitate to consult a gynecologist if you need more information.

I had last period on 22 april today is 30 may i missed my periods i tested twice with prega news the test is negative both the times why am i missing my period
Female | 25
There could be several reasons why you missed your period. For some people, it might be due to stress or changes in weight while for others it could be a result of hormonal imbalances or medical conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Additionally, you may also notice acne breakouts, increased facial hair growth, and sudden gain or loss of weight among other symptoms. A gynecologist can determine the cause if you are not pregnant after taking several tests and recommend appropriate treatment.

Im 34 weeks pregnant and im coming out yellowish and green discharge
Female | 23
I recommend that you contact your gynecologist or obstetrician right away. This could be a sign of infection that left untreated will harm both you and the baby. Your doctor will give a diagnosis and treatment options for that condition.

The urinary infection may have affected your menstrual cycle. Clotting after peeing and a skipped period indicate bodily changes. See a gynecologist promptly for an examination. They'll advise and treat you properly to improve your condition.

I am Sana from manipur. i m 20 yrs old. i have been paining one of my breast for 1 year. by the test i have taken recently, it is confirmed that there is a cyst in my breast.also my hair is fallen abnormally. my question is that- is it breast cancer? if yes, what stage it is? is completely curable? what is the immediate step i have to be taken?

A breast cyst is usually not a sign of breast cancer. If your recent tests have confirmed the presence of a cyst, your doctor may recommend additional imaging tests such as a mammogram or ultrasound to evaluate the cyst and determine what is causing the pain.

I had sex on the 20th of this month and my last period was on the 27th last month which I took post pills the day after the sex, will I still be pregnant?
Female | 25
The above-mentioned period is your last one that happened on the 27th of last month and your sexual intercourse took place on the 20th of this month which leads you to take post pills after which there is a chance you might still be pregnant because those pills are most effective. Pregnancy may cause such symptoms as a missed period, nausea, and breast tenderness. To be sure, take a pregnancy test or speak with a gynecologist.

I had unprotected sex on 16march 2024 and my periods date is 25 march 2024. Is there any chance I can get pregnant
Female | 22
There's a pregnancy risk if you have unprotected sex around your period time. A missed period is the primary sign indicating potential pregnancy. Pregnancy occurs when sperm fertilizes an egg. To prevent pregnancy, using protection during sexual activity is crucial. If you think you might be pregnant, taking a pregnancy test can confirm the situation.

Hii ma'am , my self aarti and I'm 25 yrs old my height is 4'7'' and weight is 53 kg unmarried.my concern is that my periods are very less like 2 days and first day flow is good but second day flow is less is it ok to have periods of less days this issue is not start now always my periods is like that few years back I just consult with doctor she said it's normal but now I'm worried about this. is this create any problem in future at a time of pregnancy.please ma'am give me consultation regarding this. Thankyou
Female | 25
It is natural for some people to have a period that only lasts 2 days, but it is important to be keen on any alterations. The flow difference from the first day to the second can be the consequence of hormonal factors. The beginning of the menstrual flow may not be the reason for not getting pregnant in the future. Visit a gynecologist to deal with any of your medical concerns, to be on the safer side.

Having unprotected sex on 27 th January after 14 days of unprotected sex i got no period. Then taking the pregnancy kit test and found negative then 14 th February taking the norethindrone pill got period on 15 th February is there any chance of pregnancy?period flow is too heavy. Possibility of pregnancy after this.
Female | 19
The pregnancy test and menstruation after taking norethindrone indicate you're likely not pregnant. Heavy bleeding occurs frequently with this pill due to hormones. Though unlikely, pregnancy remains possible if periods persist irregularly. Monitor upcoming cycles closely, as flow intensity varies case-by-case following medication.
