I have lost my period with 6 month

Answered on 16th Aug '24
You haven't had your period for half a year - that's worrying. This situation, amenorrhea, has symptoms like weight changes, stress, or severe health issues. Hormonal imbalances, excessive exercise, stress, or medical conditions could be the causes. Consulting a gynecologist is crucial to identify the underlying reason and receive appropriate treatment.

I have been taking birth control pills to stop my period, which was due on the 23rd of March. I am still taking the pills to stop my period because I had an even to attend. I will no longer be taking the pills starting tomorrow. I did have unprotected sex on the 15th of March. I have been experiencing cramping at the bottom of my belly, tender breasts, and nausea. I took a pregnancy test today and it came back negative. My question : Is it possible that I am actually pregnant and it is just too early to show on a home test ?
Female | 26
Testing early for pregnancy can give incorrect results sometimes. Cramping, breast tenderness, and nausea may be signs you're expecting. These happen due to hormonal changes inside your body. If you miss your period in the coming days, try taking another test again for a clearer answer.

Hii, My periods are delayed by 7 days now and I m worried as to why this is the case. Just to make it clear I have not indulged in any sexual intercourse. I usually get my periods by 27-28 th day. I got my last period on 5th April and my this month due was around 3rd of April , it's 10th today and I still have not got my periods. Also there has been a change in my routine from continuous travelling to just being at home for a while now. I just want to know if there is anything to be concerned about and should I consult a doc immediately? Or wait for a while ? And what are your takes on this. Height 5' 2" (157.48 cm) Weight117 lbs (53.07 kg)

It’s pretty normal for periods to be a little irregular, particularly if there have been changes to your routine such as decreased travel. Stress, variations in diet or exercise, and shifts in hormones can also impact your cycle. Since you haven’t had sex, it’s unlikely that you’re pregnant. Wait a bit longer but if it still doesn’t come, I reckon it would be best to see a gynecologist to be sure everything’s ok.

I had my period on 7 january. On 12th january i had unprotected sex, but my partner didn't cum inside. i took ipill on 13 January. Again I got periods on 19 January. I haven't yet got periods on February. Is there any concern regarding pregnancy? or is it just delayed period?
Female | 28
There could be a delay in menstrual cycle because of many reasons like stress, hormonal problems and some medical conditions. Nevertheless, you had no protection thus pregnancy is always a possibility for you. A pregnancy test and a visit to the gynecologist will be necessary for proper evaluation. They help you in knowing what to do and also give medical advice.

Being late on your period for 2-3 months is concerning. It can occur due to stress, quick weight gain or loss, hormonal changes, and conditions like PCOS. You may experience bloating, sore breasts, exhaustion. Consulting a gynecologist helps identify the reason and find treatment to regularize your cycle.

Hi, I wanted to know that if my friend's periods are delayed by 15 days, is it a worry? Or it happens normally.? She's 21 . This is the first time her periods are late actually. She is not sexually active as well. What to do to induce her menstrual cycle.
Female | 20
Your friend's late period might seem concerning, but it's natural for young women. Skipped cycles happen due to stress, routine changes, or minor illnesses. With no sexual activity, pregnancy is out of the picture. To restart her cycle naturally, encourage a balanced diet, exercise, and stress management through deep breaths or yoga. However, if the delay persists or other symptoms arise, seeing a gynecologist is advisable.

My vagina is so itchy...l gat sore...inside my vagina l have white things which are like worms and they are so itchy
Female | 20
You probably have a yeast infection. Yeast infections may be characterized by vaginitis and such symptoms as itchiness, pain, and discharge (whitish color, worm-like) in the vagina. On the bright side, yeast infections are common and can be easily treated with over-the-counter antifungal creams or tablets. It is necessary to avoid using sweet-scented products and wear cotton underwear to assist in the prevention of future infections.

Hi! Recently I believe I had a UTI. It hurt towards the end of my pee, very small pieces of tissue was coming out with a decent amount of bleeding. My urine was cloudy and had a faint smell to it. I drank a lot of water and that went away but now i seem to have a different problem. I had a hormonal iud put in about a year ago now and stopped having my cycle around the 6 month mark. Right after I got over my UTI as I mentioned i have had bleeding come from my vagina. I know it wasn't from this before because I had checked with my finger. Is this normal? Is there a chance I didn't feel it come out? I'm mainly scared i'm pregnant, or worse.
Female | 18
Hormonal IUDs can cause irregular bleeding. But its better to consult a gynecologist. They will do a thorough check up and will guide you next course of treatment

I am 33 year old female. I took a pregnancy test and it showed a faint test line and a dark control line.
Female | 33
Common symptoms of early pregnancy are missed periods, feeling sick, and being tired. Lines can be faint if there’s not much hormone yet or it’s too early to test properly. The only way to find out is by doing another test in a few days to see if it gets darker. If you’re still not sure what to do next then speak to a gynecologist about it.

Lymph nodes should be removed or not depends on their size and whether they cause any symptoms or not. If your doctors have advised on removal of ovarian cysts, you should go ahead. Or take another opinion from an experienced gynecologist. This can help them better understand your condition and decide whether is is necessary to remove the lymph nodes or not.

Sex k bad 72 unwanted kit use ki thi 2 time date aa chuki h and 3 time nahi ai h
Female | 19
It is rather common to employ an emergency contraceptive pill such as the 72-hour kit after sex. Every so often, it has the potential to disrupt your period cycle. If you have experienced it two times and your period has come two times, but the third time has not come, it may be because of the pill. Hang on a bit, and if you are concerned, consult with a gynecologist for some advice.

I want to know if my hymen is still intact
Female | 17
I suggest that you make an appointment to see a gynecologist who will be able to look at your hymen and tell if it is intact or not. However, it is important to remember that the presence or absence of a hymen is not the only factor in determining virginity since several factors can lead to the hymen tearing or not being present.
