Melasma takes months and years to go. Treatments are peel / q switch, Gfc treatments,  Transemic injections are needed,  topical creams for lightening  will be given in rotation,  with sunscreen,  and oral antioxidants. Don't expect miracles with Melasma. They can increase and reduce with hormones as pregnancy n stress also But definitely can be reduced and controlled. For detailed information please visit dermatologist.

I have an oily face and sensitive skin .I'm not really fair ,I have a hot caramel skin .the products I use gives me skin problems always I want to know the best product to use so that I don't face those problems again

Female | 18

You have a combination skin type, which is somewhat challenging to deal with. Using the wrong products can lead to issues such as redness, itching, or pimples. Opt for mild, fragrance-free items designed specifically for sensitive oily skin. Do not use solutions containing alcohol either. Cleanse your face with a gentle cleanser and apply a light moisturizer to maintain its hydration balance. A regular care routine will help you to cope with this problem.

I am a 28 year female, with oily skin, having complaints regarding acne, acne scars, tanning, uneven skin tone and dullness. Can I get treatment options for my concerns as well as the cost so as to proceed further. Thank you!

Female | 28

There are many treatment options available to help address your concerns. You can choose from a basic skincare routine to more involved treatments such as laser treatments, chemical peels, light therapy, micro-needling, and laser treatments for acne scarring. These will work by stimulating new collagen in your skin, which can help reduce the appearance of scars. You can look into chemical peels, laser treatments, and light therapies for hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone. These treatments can help to break down pigmented cells and stimulate new cell growth, which in turn can help reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation. For dullness, you can look into facial treatments such as microdermabrasion, which can help to exfoliate your skin and reduce dullness. Cost of these treatments can vary widely, depending on the type of treatment you choose. It is best to consult with a dermatologist to get better treatment options.

I am 21 years old and having forehead acne only and no acne on other part of face and my doctor suggested me isotretinoin should I take it or they are for severe acne?

Female | 21 years

Forehead acne is quite common. It can be because of the sebum the skin makes too much as it gets plugged and distresses the follicles. Isotretinoin is mainly used for the treatment of severe acne, so if your doctor has recommended it, it may indicate that your acne has become more severe and chronic. Make sure you are listening to your doctor and feel free to express your worries if you have any.
