The irritable bowel syndrome, or bloating gas, can stem from irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), which is a common ailment of the digestive tract. You are by the way at the same age as other people who suffer from this condition. Stress, diet, and allergies to specific foods may all cause IBS. Take the food diary exercise, so you can track what's triggering it. Besides, ensure you take fluids and fiber-rich foods as well. In cases where the problems persist, visiting a gastroenterologist can provide more insight and possible treatment options.

What could be causing my abdominal pain and burning sensation, with a mild enlargement in size of my liver and spleen? I'm concerned about the possibility of a serious condition like colon cancer. Can you provide any guidance or information?
Male | 19
Mild enlargement of the liver and spleen, without any focal lesions, can have various causes and may not necessarily indicate a serious disease like colon cancer. Conditions like fatty liver disease, viral infections, inflammation, etc. can be associated with the swelling of these organs.
A proper diagnosis can only be made by a healthcare professional like a gastroenterologist after considering your complete medical history.

I have an issue I’m currently facing. I have piles which started after some days of constipation and I think I have internal piles which are causing me serious pain I feel tightness inside me finding it hard to walk and sit sometimes
Female | 21
You might have trouble with internal hemorrhoids which are usually connected to constipation. This condition might as well be a cause of pain, tightness, as well as sitting or walking difficulties. To relieve them, choose a diet that is rich in high-fiber foods, drink plenty of water and, if applicable, take some softeners to facilitate stool passing. The over-the-counter drugs might also work for reducing the pain as well. At the same time, you should also consult a gastroenterologist for proper advice.

I'm a 24-year-old guy and have been suffering from stomach issues for several years. To begin with, I should mention that before 2-3 years ago, I never had any problems of this kind. I remember vomiting only once or twice when I was a child. However, 2-3 years ago, after a bout of oyster poisoning, I started experiencing episodes of dyspepsia at least once a month, despite maintaining a generally healthy and balanced diet. Following the incident 2-3 years ago, I visited multiple gastroenterologists who examined me but never wanted to go beyond an ultrasound, which they always said looked fine. They concluded that the problem is functional. After discovering my lactose intolerance, I learned to avoid lactose, but unfortunately, I still feel unwell 1-2 times a week. It starts with a bit of diarrhea and then nausea, which I try to alleviate with Biochetasi and other products like baking soda and lemon, but I still go through tough hours. Tonight's episode was particularly severe, and I don't know how to resolve this!!
Male | 24
This happens when you get stressed, eat certain things (or have been infected by something). Keep an eye on what you’ve been eating about when these symptoms show up by writing them down in a food diary. Also, talk to a gastroenterologist about what else they could do to treat it or if there are any other dietary changes you should make that might help relieve some discomforts associated with this condition.

The lower left quadrant of my abdomen hurts for 12 days with mild bloating. The pain was intense before, very intense when it comes, I would say a 7 to 8 out of 10. I also had abdominal cramps, rectal tenesmus, and have been taking laxatives but not anymore today. I still feel occasional discomfort and pain in my abdomen. The pain was intense for 9 days before dampening now into a more mild form. I made a visit to the doctor in day 9 (it is day 12 today) and the doctor said it should be cleared up in 3 days. The doctor said it may be a fecaloma. After not taking laxatives, the diarrhoea is less watery but I still feel bloated and painful in my abdomen although much milder. I suspect an underlying problem.
Male | 21
Your symproms could be due to some underlying issue..possible causes can be fecal impaction, gastrointestinal infections, Ibs, or other gastrointestinal conditions. Follow up with your doctor for thorough evaluation and diagnosis.

The symptoms might be related to the drug such as cramps, muscle spasms, headache, and feeling sick. Some drugs can cause such issues at times. You must inform your physician about these signs. They may prescribe a different medication or adjust the dose to minimize these side effects. Do not discontinue the drug until you have consulted your doctor.

gastic problem & worms coming through urine
Female | 36
Worms, which should be parasitic, are the ones that should be seen in the urine. These parasites can gain access through cancerous foods and water. Abdominal pain, diarrhea, and urine without worms can be signs of such a condition. You should consult a gastroenterologist for a correct diagnosis and treatment of the disease. Most often, deworming medication is used to handle this.

I have watery diarrhoea after antibiotics from last 3 days and also I’m taking novidat and flagyl but it didn’t work what should I do I’m feeling weakness
Female | 29
This happens because antibiotics disturb good gut bacteria. You took Novidat and Flagyl, but since they did not work, stay hydrated. Eat bland food like rice, bananas, toast. If symptoms persist, contact a gastroenterologist urgently.

To feel better, try increasing your fiber intake, staying hydrated, and taking sitz baths. It's important to see a gastroenterologist for proper evaluation and treatment.

However, these symptoms may also relate to other underlying conditions. It is best to consult a gastroenterologist to check if your digestive system is affected or if it's due to medication.

Female | 22
Sometimes, stomach pains strike on one side. Gas or overeating may cause this discomfort. It also could be because of a strained muscle. Meanwhile, stay hydrated. Rest up. Eat gentle and consume healthy food.

I have been with hard stool from 1 week starting poob is so hard it's getting too much pain I think iam suffering with hammarides.could you please suggest medicine.
Female | 38
The most common cause of hard stools is a fiber-free diet coupled with dehydration and lack of exercise. You should include fiber-rich foods, such as fruits, vegetables, and cereals into your diet together with water drinking. Nevertheless, if the pain persists or gets worse, contact a gastroenterologist to give you modulation.
