Worrying about having a late period is quite normal, however, in some cases, it may not be due to a pregnancy. Under stress, disruption of habitual activities, or a change in diet can lead to a delayed period. If your pregnancy test was negative, don't panic (try to relax). For now, it is best to wait and see if your period is going to come. If it doesn't, it's a good idea to talk to a gynecologist to find out what's going on.

Good afternoon doctor,my message might be a lengthy one so sorry about it…..so,I had my last menstruation on the 19th of Jan and ended on 22nd of jan. On the 3rd of this month I went to my fiance place and we started humping each other with clothes on then after that he cummed in my mouth and we continue then I off my trouser and was only in my panties and we comtinue,he's naked then, after that he tried penetrating but I am a virgin and he was unable to so,after that I started getting scared that what if when he tried to penetrate a sperm has slipped in and might lead to pregnancy. I've been having a nervous breakdown since the day and feeling anxious and scared a lot that what if I get pregnant, since that I've been feeling a little nauseated and that also double my fears but doctor, can someone gets pregnant in 4/5 days and the symptoms will be showing or it's my anxiety that causes it,I drank ginger tea like 3 times after getting home.so,can I be pregnant with him cumming inside my mouth and then 10 minutes after he tried penetrating or I shd relax…. I have malaria and I haven't treated myself but I don't know if me feeling nauseated slightly is malaria or pregnancy, the nauseous feeling is so mild that sometimes I think it's just in my head and there's no nauseous feeling. I'm so tired and stressed about it and my anxiety is back feeling so scared and not knowing what to do or expect. And ‘what if’ is what's killing me now that what if a sperm has leaked in tho,he said there's no sperm but precum
Female | 23
The likelihood of pregnancy in your situation is minimal. Pregnancy indicators manifest gradually, not within a mere 4-5 days. The mild nausea could stem from anxiety or even malaria. Seeking medical attention for proper diagnosis and treatment of potential malaria is crucial.

Changes in the length of your menstrual period are quite normal and can be affected by hormonal fluctuations, stress, diet, exercise, age, and even the use of birth control. It's common for period days to change from month to month. But if you experience significant or concerning changes the consult a gynecologist for evaluation.

Hello how are you. I had sex on 5th march and got my period 14 march. April too I see my period and may also can I still be pregnant please help me
Female | 21
It seems unlikely that you would be pregnant if you had a period in March, April, and May after having sex on March 5th. Having regular periods indicates that you're not pregnant.

I am writing on behalf of my wife who is also the patient. She is going through a lot of mood swings and we have searched a lot on the internet about it. Lately we have realised that the symptoms correspond to a strong case of Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder. I wanted to know the remedy, the natural ones that can we can employ for mood swings to be less painful.
Female | 26
Your wife's mood swings are a concern. Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder involves severe mood and physical issues before periods. This means sadness, anxiety, irritability - feelings that disrupt daily life. To help naturally, try exercising regularly, eating well, reduce stress through deep breaths or meditation. Sleep and routine are vital too. However, if symptoms seriously impact her day-to-day, consulting a gynecologist is advisable for further assistance.

Female | 20
This could have several different explanations. It could be hormonal changes, stress, thyroid problems, or even some medical issues. You should still be cautious and not assume that it is an emergency because you have no pain and are not pregnant. A more accurate diagnosis might come from a gynecologist who will prescribe the right treatment.

I'm a girl aged 18 and have been having pain like period cramps and if I get my period I finish in 8 days but the flow will be drops only...It started happening in February this year when I came from Zimbabwe to UK
Female | 18
There have been some changes in your period recently. Physical symptoms like the typical period cramps and light flow are among the leading causes. Stress, changes in diet, the environment you live in, or hormonal imbalances are a few potential causes of this kind of pain. It is a must to exercise self-care, eat well, drink more water, and take rest. If symptoms are there regardless it could be helpful if you get advice from a gynecologist.
