Hello Doctor, I am a 30 year old female and I recently noticed open pores on my face, what should I do? My daily routine is: use himalaya neem face wash, then moisturize skin and I happen to have oily & dull skin. Can you pls suggest what should I do? Thank you!

Female | 30

I would like to start by recommending a daily skincare routine for the problems you are facing. Start with Oil control cleansers with AHA's or BHA's to clear the oil and dirt from your face 2-4 times a day. Use a Vit C serum or day serum in the morning if you are at home and you can add sunscreen on top if you are going to go out and will get exposed to sunlight. Evening, after wash use a toner to neutralize and calm your skin. Before bed, use a coat of moisturizer and additional retinol-based anti-aging serum to finish. If it's a major concern, please contact a dermatologist.

I have some rashes and i dont know what it id

Female | 19

RASHES CAN BE CAUSED BY ALLERGIES OR INFECTIONS..THEY MAY ALSO BE DUE TO SKIN DISORDERS..CONSULT A DERMATOLOGIST FOR PROPER DIAGNOSIS....AVOID SCRATCHING OR TOUCHING THE AFFECTED AREA...USE mild soap and LUKewarm wATEr to clean the rash...APPLY CALAMINE LOTION OR HYDROCORTISONE CREAM to soothe itchiness..IF THE RASH PERSISTS OR SPREADS, SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION..

I have oily skin and acne marks and acne on my forehead And my face , brown spot in my face

Female | 27

You may have a combination of shiny skin, hyperpigmentation, pimples on your forehead, and spots on your cheeks. Overactive oil glands are a magnet for pimples which consecutively leave dark marks. Stress, hormones, and your diet could all contribute to making it severe. Tanning or irritating your skin might be responsible for brown spots. To fix your issue, gently clean it every day using cleansing products; you can get some over-the-counter drugs meant for treating acne then apply them as instructed, and protect it against the sun by wearing sunscreen all the time.

I have whiteheads on my full face since 2 years i also have Whitehead in eyebrows I feel iching on full face Hair of my eyebrows are sheding I feel like something is crawling on my face I also have open pores

Female | 39

You are experiencing seborrheic dermatitis. The condition can be whiteheads, itching, and the loss of eyebrow hair that can particularly be felt on the skin. Skin can develop open pores. It is a result of an overgrowth of yeast on the skin. With the assistance of mild cleansers that don't have any scent at all and dandruff shampoos, they can get rid of the issues of the poor comfort that they have with treatment.

puppy bite and scratches since past 2 months.

Male | 30

It is important to take care of puppy bites and scratches. These can cause infections if not treated right. Look for signs like redness, pain, swelling, or pus at the spot. Make sure to wash the area well with soap and water. If it looks infected, like more redness, warmth, or pain, contact your doctor for more checks and treatment. Puppy bites and scratches are common, but they can be serious. It is best to clean the wound and watch for signs of infection. Don't wait if it gets worse. See a doctor quickly.
