PCOS causes hormonal imbalance which is evident in symptoms like bloating, cramps, aches, and discomfort in the abdominal area. Besides the case above, pain can develop due to digestive issues, like constipation or gas. To these attempts to treat the pain, try to manage your PCOS symptoms with a proper diet, physical activity, and keeping a proper weight. If the pain is intolerable or the situation worsens, it's advisable to go to a gynecologist for proper treatment.

I’ve had chalymdia several times, and I got treated twice and I was wondering if my iud might have chalymdia on it making me not get rid of it.

Female | 18

Chlamydia is a very common sexually transmitted infection (STI). Chlamydia is not caused by an IUD in your body. The infection is in your body, not on your IUD. You need to be treated properly according to what your doctor prescribes to be rid of chlamydia. The most important thing to do is to treat partners as well, thus preventing re-infection.

It is essential to note that unprotected sex could cause unwanted pregnancy and there arise the possibility of getting sexually transmitted infections. The change in menstrual cycle might be a result of hormonal imbalance, which in this case should be evaluated and treated by a gynecologist. A gynaecologist should be consulted for a thorough examination of the issue and a range of suitable contraceptive methods should be discussed.

I was prescribed primulot n to delay my period . The dosage was thrice a day . Instead of taking it every 8 hours , I mistakenly took it every 6 hours . Causing a 12 hour gap . I may have a slight spotting . Can I change my timings and switch to 8 hours

Female | 34

Don’t worry if your Primulot N dose timing was a little off. If you took it every 6 hours rather than 8, you might experience some slight spotting. The reason for this is that your hormone levels change. To solve the problem, take your medicine after every 8 hours as directed. This adjustment will help to normalize your hormone levels and prevent any bleeding.
