It's has been 20 days since my pilonidal sinus surgery and now my period have started, how do I maintain hygiene?
Female | 18
Ensure that you gently clean the surgery area with mild soap and water, carefully dry it, and avoid using any harsh chemicals. Additionally, loose cotton underwear, which does not trap moisture, can potentially prevent the infection. If you experience any unexpected discomfort, such as more pain redness, swelling, or discharge you should immediately consult a gynecologist to get proper advice.

I have sex on the last day of my period dat is on sixth of this month isn’t possible that am pregnant
Female | 29
On the last day of your period, sex does not guarantee the absence of pregnancy. Sperms are viable to survive for 5 days in the female reproductive tract. Therefore, you better use contraception if you do not wish to conceive. Please refer to a gynecologist, to discuss with him/her, the best birth control option for you.

Please I have an issue with my ear. I discovered that I couldn't hear clearly again. On checking by a relative, it was discovered that there are lots of waxes which was cleaned with cotton bud. Unfortunately, I couldn't still hear well as there's a continuous sound from the ear (like a continuous sound). A drop of baby oil was applied to soften any wax still contained internally but no success yet. I don't know what I should do next. Expecting your recommendations. Thanks.
Male | 33
Your description makes me think you just got a blockage due to your excessive earwax. I recommend you book an appointment with an ENT specialist. Consulting them for your hearing-related problems is an important step to take to derive a proper solution.

My periods skip sometimes , and I am Suffering from pcod ?
Female | 17
Women often experience irregular cycles with PCOD. This condition occurs when hormonal imbalances disrupt ovulation. Consequences include missed periods or delayed menstruation, acne flare-ups, weight fluctuations, and excess hair growth. Adopting a nutritious diet and maintaining an active lifestyle can mitigate symptoms. In certain cases, prescribed medication may help restore hormonal balance. Consulting a gynecologist and practicing self-care are crucial for managing PCOD effectively.

Like HIV, PID has symptoms such as pain, fever, and discharge. Does one mean there is also the presence of the other? The answer is no. Normally, PID is caused by bacteria and it can easily be cured with antibiotics. However, if you still think you might have gotten infected after all these explanations then don’t hesitate to go for an HIV test to be sure.

Female | 21
The spotting you are having after ovulation might be implantation bleeding, which is the condition when the egg that has been fertilized sticks to the uterine lining. This is the most common cause of light bleeding. Morning sickness, aching head, and throbbing back are the three most common of them mentioned among the early pregnancy signs. Sometimes, your hunch might be right and you could become pregnant. However, one should also be aware that these signs could be due to other issues. If you are worried, consult a gynecologist.

Likorea problem my report show endoceruical cells present. Metaplastic cell present. Diysplatic cells not seen .
Female | 30
Your test results seem to indicate that there are some cells in the cervix, which might be a natural happening. It’s very common to see cells like endocervical and metaplastic cells and usually, they are not indicative of any major problem, especially since dysplastic cells were not discovered. Symptoms may incorporate unusual bleeding or discharge, nevertheless, many women do not notice any (symptoms). It can be from changes in certain hormones that cause (abnormal bleeding/discharge) to infections. You may also consult a gynecologist for further examination and any necessary action.

I am 28 days late for my cycle. I got diagnosed with pcod 14 days back and was prescribed primolut n twice a day for 3 days and nutriv O and prenatal daily for 10 days. It's been 10 days since primolut n is stopped but I haven't got my periods yet. I am not pregnant. When should my period be back? Why is this delay?
Female | 24
Feeling nervous about your late cycle is reasonable, particularly after receiving treatment for PCOD. Hormonal dysregulation in diseases like PCOD can cause periods with irregular cycle. After the end of the Primolut N therapy, it might take due course for your endocrine system to balance estrogen and progesterone and thereby, start the menstruation process. Your period to come back in a few weeks maybe your anticipations, but it is important to remember that your body works quite differently. You should consult a gynecologist for proper treatment.

Female | 23
There could be an issue with vaginal discharge. Leukorrhea is increased discharge from hormones, infections, or irritants. Signs are changes in color, smell, itchiness, or discomfort. Wear cotton underwear, keep clean, avoid scented products near your vagina. If discharge seems abnormal or doesn't stop, get checked by a gynecologist.
