You may have Meniere's disease. This condition makes you feel dizzy when you stand up. It also gives you long, bad headaches. Your ears may ring and hurt. Meniere's disease happens when fluid builds up in your inner ear. To treat it, doctors give medicine to reduce dizziness. You may also need to change your lifestyle to manage the condition. It is best to see a neurologist.

Your dad is experiencing dizziness, even though his heart, ENT, and neurology tests were normal. For older adults, dizziness can be caused by many things, like inner ear issues or medication side effects. Discuss additional tests with his doctors to find the exact cause, so the right treatment can be given.

I am 27 year old female I take sertraline I need to take betahistine for vertigo but I am afraid to take it because I’m scared of serious side effects or getting Steven Johnson syndrome

Female | 27

I get what you’re saying about using Betahistine with Sertraline. Don’t worry, few people get severe side effects like Steven Johnson Syndrome from Betahistine. Some common side effects might be a headache or an upset stomach. When you’re suffering from vertigo, it feels like everything is spinning around you. Betahistine works by increasing the blood flow within the inner ear which can help with this. However, it’s best to speak with your doctor before taking any medication.

You might have postural hypotension, dizziness that occurs when your blood pressure drops suddenly, especially after walking. This may cause you to feel unsteady or dizzy. You should drink plenty of water and move slowly. You may need to change your medicine or lifestyle to get help.

I had epilepsy since 2004, reflecting on eyes appearing as red and blue light flashing and double vision further mild headheck and vomiting sensation. At that I am not losing consciousness. Last episode appeared in 2015 . I am using Zonisep tablet 125 MG per day till today. Requested for better medical suggestions in this regard.

Male | 20

I recommend taking the medication as prescribed to you by your doctor. But if you experience any side effects from it or want to go for some other treatment, you can talk to your neurologist. He will suggest some other treatments based on your condition like lifestyle changes, CBT or acupuncture etc. Also, follow-ups is must.

my name is lhamo I have come here for my mother's illness, my mother's name is Bimla My mother has heart failure and one of her kidneys is damaged since 2 years, so now my mother's body has become completely stiff suddenly and she is not able to speak anything, she is just breathing, she is not able to eat or drink anything, it has been 2 days Mummy's hands and feet have become cold and she also has epilepsy. It has been 2.5 years and she is 40 years old.

Female | 40

The symptoms you described, such as stiffness, trouble speaking, cold hands and feet, and epilepsy say serious things to me. With her previous medical records including heart failure, kidney damage, and extreme variations, this may be a life-threatening issue. It is of utmost importance for her to get appropriate attention as soon as possible to receive the right treatment and the right care for her. The doctors may need to deal with the heart, kidney, and neurological issues together to make your mother feel better.

Male | 64

Insomnia makes it hard to fall or stay asleep. Stress, medicines, and health issues can cause it. Be careful taking ayurvedic insomnia meds with allopathic blood pressure or stroke drugs. Always talk to your doctor before trying new medicines. This prevents interactions and side effects. Communicate clearly with your healthcare provider.

A stroke is a nervous system problem that can cause symptoms like weakness, difficulty speaking, and confusion. It happens when the brain is starved of oxygen due to a blocked blood vessel or a burst blood vessel. Stroke treatment varies and may include medications, therapy, or surgery. The best chance of recovery is if you get to the hospital as soon as possible.

Pressure headache mostly around eyes behind nose and cheekbones. Generally feeling like I have a band around my head. Gets worse when I am bending over.

Female | 35

You might have a sinus headache. Sinuses are spaces in your face that can get swollen and cause pain. Pressure can be made worse by bending over. Other symptoms can include a runny or stuffy nose. To feel better, you can try using a warm compress on your face, staying hydrated, and using over-the-counter pain relievers. If you feel this way all the time, it is best to go to a doctor to be sure.

I wanna try to get scanned for a brain tumour, this thought has gone as far back as grade 8 and I know this is out of proportion insane but I mean at first it started with the moments of feeling like I was getting dumber instead of smarter, not like beating myself up but just the actual feeling of losing information Then it was the foggy memories, messed up timeline, all of which I just kinda blamed on Parasomnia Then it was the derealization, the feeling of my grip on the world was leaving me and I’ve just tried so hard to fight it The change in my thoughts I mean I’ve become borderline obsessive, bi polar at my worst and even just thinking of life differently I mean in grade 9 I even just lost so much sense of fear, I started being way more reckless than before Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if it was what helped Mono attack my body harder I mean looking at symptoms yeah I only have the less severe ones but even loss of hearing and vision change has kinda set in I’ve heard stories of people who didn’t bother to check man and it just makes me afraid that I’m a ticking time bomb until the time someone sees me faint and not wake up Today in class I got, so, so lightheaded, and I just feel this impending doom sitting on my chest man

Male | 15

I would recommend you to book an appointment with a neurologist to detail your symptoms and worries regarding the potential brain tumor. He can perform extensive evaluation and diagnostic tests to determine the source of your symptoms. It is not advisable to wait until the time runs out and an early diagnosis will help you have a different outcome.

Aaj morning se sir me pain ho raha hai Vaisograin tablet bhi Li par koi releif nahi hua

Female | 24

Headaches can arise in many ways, for example, stress, lack of sleep, or even looking at screens for too long can cause them. It's better to lie in a peaceful place, drink a lot of plain water, and abstain from excessive screen time. If the pain persists, you need to go to a doctor and get a thorough checkup done.
