Dog Bite Vaccination Schedule: Am I at Risk?

I was bitten by a dog and got vaccinated after near about 30 hours a bit late doctor told there will be 4 more doses of vaccines one after 3 days one on 7th day one on 14th day and one on 28th day I was busy these days so I got no time to get vaccinated so I going today after 1 week to get vaccinated can you please tell me am I in risk or everything’s fine If I get vaccinated.

Answered on 12th Nov '24

If bitten by a dog, crucial to follow the vaccine schedule. Although doses were missed, getting vaccinated late surpasses not getting it. Still vital is the completion of doses to prevent rabies. Delayed dosing slightly raises infection risk, but late vaccination wins over none.

Such symptoms may be the result of an infection. Fever and weakness are common symptoms when people are fighting an infection. In addition to plenty of fluid and rest, you can consume Advil or Tylenol. If your symptoms continue or worsen, it's important to seek medical advice.

Mujhe 2 saal pahele vaccinated dog ne kata tha aur maine vaccination nhi karwaya tha toh kya mujhe koi problem ho sakti hai

Female | 16

If bitten by a dog, get medical attention right away. Rabies is an acute syndrome of fatality and cannot be treated after symptoms appear. The vaccine is very effective but only if it was given before the appearance of symptoms. If you have been bitten by a dog, contact an appropriate medical specialist as soon as possible.

Yes, a 17-year-old can take Vitamin C tablets. Vitamin C plays a critical role in the body by keeping it healthy and boosting the immune system. If you easily get tired, prone to illnesses, or have wounds that take too long to heal, it might be an indication that you lack enough of this vitamin. 3din se fever he Kam nhi ho rha he Aaj fever 100.8 tha

Male | 17

You've provided information about a fever lasting for three days, noting that a temperature of 100.8°F is considered a mild fever. Suggestions include increased water intake, adequate rest, and the use of over-the-counter analgesics like acetaminophen or ibuprofen to control symptoms. However, you advise contacting a healthcare provider if the fever persists or if other symptoms emerge. This guidance aligns with common recommendations for managing mild fevers but emphasizes the importance of medical attention if needed. If you have specific questions or if there's anything else you'd like to discuss on this topic, feel free to let me know!

Good Morning I am a male, 29years from Southwest Nigeria, I have some illness I have been noticed for a while and i need advice. I always love football before but for a while I leave that activity due to academic pursuit but anytime I tried it now I get tired easily as if I will faint and slump. And moreover I get cold easily and which doesn't allow me to breathe deep as I should, but I noticed that anytime I take hot water or use hot water to bath I felt relieved but I don't think I should be using hot water for the rest so I am seeking a proper consultation

Male | 29

Anemia occurs when your body doesn't have enough healthy red blood cells to carry oxygen, leading to fatigue, cold sensitivity, weakness, and shortness of breath. While hot water may temporarily improve circulation, it's not a long-term solution. I recommend seeing a doctor for a blood test to check your red blood cell levels. Anemia can be caused by factors like iron deficiency or illness, and treatment may involve dietary changes, iron supplements, or other medications, depending on the cause. Getting proper medical care is essential to address your symptoms.

I had runny nose , little fever , throat pain , headache and fatigue from 2 days then I took cetrizine and Augmentin 625 one tab each . Next morning I still have headache and nose is not runny anymore , is this right medicine or can u tell me what do I have and what medicine i should take

Female | 23

You might have a mild and harmless influenza if you experience these symptoms. A runny nose and sore throat are probably due to a virus. Augmentin is an antibiotic that fights bacteria but may be unnecessary if the main issue is a viral infection. Cetirizine can relieve allergy symptoms, though it doesn't address the cause. Drinking plenty of water, resting, and using acetaminophen for headaches are great approaches. If symptoms persist, it is best to see a doctor.

What should i do if i drink water and still feel dehydrated

Female | 27

Feeling thirsty even after drinking water? This might be due to lingering dehydration. Your body needs enough fluids to function well. Signs include dry mouth, tiredness, and dark urine. If you're still thirsty, try drinking electrolyte beverages or eating juicy fruits and veggies to stay hydrated. Also, cut back on caffeine and alcohol, as they can dehydrate you.

Can I eat banana chips during kidney stone

Male | 19

Banana chips can be high in sodium and unhealthy fats since it is fried. If you have kidney stones, you need to limit your intake of sodium and unhealthy fats. High sodium intake can increase calcium excretion in urine, potentially contributing to the formation of certain types of kidney stones.
