Can I get weight gain injections for being too lean?

I'm 22 years old ,,I'm too lean, but I'm not tired anymore,,i have no thyroid issues ,,,,but my waist and thighs are so thin my face also too lean ,,,will u plz prescribe me weight gain injections for me

Answered on 18th Nov '24

A fast metabolism or a shortage in the diet can be the reason for a person's problem of maintaining a normal weight. Weight-gaining shots are a bit unsafe since they can have side effects. To gain pounds the healthy way, you should eat foods that are high in proteins, fats, and carbohydrates such as nuts, avocados, and whole grains. Everyday activities like pushups and weightlifting can help you increase your muscles. If you feel that you are too skinny consult a nutritionist for advice.

Hi , My belly has been growing day by day and been losing hair , peeing alot and my lower back is very stiff

Female | 23

You might be experiencing symptoms of diabetes. In diabetes, weight gain can lead to a bigger belly, and hair loss may occur. Frequent urination is common as your body tries to remove excess sugar. Lower back stiffness could be related to kidney issues linked with diabetes. It's important to eat healthy, exercise, and see a doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment.

Is my vitamin b12 and vitamin d normal? If not what medicine should i take or any other solution Vitamin B12-109 L pg/ml Vitamin d3 25 oh -14.75 ng/ml

Male | 24

Judging by your levels of Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D, it appears that they are low. Low B12 can be a reason for feeling tired and weak. Low Vitamin D can be a reason for bone pain and muscle weakness. You may need to get B12 and Vitamin D supplements. Besides, it's good to consume foods that are rich in these vitamins like fish, eggs, and dairy products.

Hi! I will be undergoing dexamethasone suppression testing and I accidentally took my pill at 10pm instead of 11pm. Can I still get my blood withdraw tomorrow at 8am? Thank you!

Female | 32

When it comes to dexamethasone suppression testing, timing is everything. If you take the pill an hour early it shouldn’t be a big deal. It's not likely to significantly alter the results of the test. You should still be able to have your blood drawn at 8 am tomorrow. Just try and follow the prescribed schedule next time for more accurate results.

Sorry for my english I am 23 years old. For 7 years, I have been suffering from weakness in the bones of the face and lower jaw constantly from the slightest pressure on them. I had vitamin D test and my value is 5.5 very low, and my calcium is 9.7. The doctor told me to take vitamin D 10,000 IU per day for 3 months. Should I eat a lot of foods that contain calcium or not, and how much calcium per day for the 10,000 iu? Because when I take vitamin D supplements, I feel an itching sensation in the lower jaw, as if it is weakening more. The question is Should I increase calcium foods or make it less because i feel it's getting more weak, or what should I do to avoid bone erosion? And i'm afraid if calcium will be more than normal when i eat more calcium food because it's 9.7 now thanks.

Female | 23

Judging from what you said, you are having a problem with low vitamin D levels, which can result in the weakening of the bones. Taking 10,000 IU per day as your doctor suggested is good, but you should also eat foods that are rich in calcium. Do not forget to take around 1,000 to 1,200 mg of calcium daily. Consider adding milk, yogurt, cheese, and leafy greens to your diet. Talk to your doctor if you feel more weakness in your jaw or experience itching to adjust your supplements.

My mother is a female age 70, has diabetes type 2, and has been taking Diapribe M2 for a while now twice a day but her diet was not right upto the mark and now we got her sugar levels tested and her fasting blood sugar report was 217.5 mg/ dl. And right now she missed her evening meds which is Diapride M2 500gm, and she feeling very uneasy atm. Please help asap..

Female | 70

It is alarming, as it indicates that your mother is not well. Her high blood sugar level of 217.5 mg/dl is worrying. Missing her evening Diapride M2 500mg dose might be the reason. The high content of blood sugar can be the reason for symptoms like thirst, frequent urination, fatigue, and blurred vision. Persuade her to drink plenty of water, take a light, healthy snack, and take her medication. In the case of non-improvement, it's necessary to get professional medical assistance.

medicine for decrease estrogen level in male

Male | 15

If a male's system contains excessive estrogen, it may result in problems such as tiredness, increased fat, and a change in disposition. This can occur from being overweight, some drugs, or illnesses. To reduce these levels of estrogen it is helpful to exercise regularly, have a balanced diet, and manage stress. Men should not drink alcohol if they want their estrogen level down; they also need to keep fit for this hormone balance.

I am 26yr old female, I have got blood test done where my LH: FsH ratio came 3.02, my prolactin came 66.5, my sugar was 597 at fasting, my TSH is 4.366 and my RBC count is 5.15.

Female | 26

Based on the results from your blood tests, there are some things we should investigate. High levels of prolactin can be caused by stress, certain medications, or a problem with the pituitary gland in the brain. With a fasting sugar level of 597, you may have diabetes. A TSH level of 4.366 could indicate a problem with your thyroid gland. You should see a doctor and get checked out further for treatment options.

I'm a 35-year-old female with hypothyroidism. What kind of diet should I follow to manage my condition better and maintain a healthy weight?

Female | 35

Hypothyroidism refers to a condition where the thyroid gland does not produce enough of the thyroid hormone. You may gain weight easily, feel tired, and have difficulty concentrating. To combat your problem and to maintain a healthy body try to have balanced food. The best way to include them in your diet is to concentrate on whole foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins. Sweet stuff and processed foods must be out of your sight. Eating right can have a significant effect on your metabolic rate and the overall performance of your body.

My vitamin d3 test results are 6.4 respectively ,what is the medixation or injection that i should take to improve my d3

Male | 26

Your vitamin D3 level is lower than normal. Vitamin D3 deficiency can give you fatigue and weakness besides bone pain. It often happens when your body lacks exposure to sunlight or to some foods that are rich in vitamin D. For treating this condition, it is advisable to take vitamin D3 supplements that are prescribed by your doctor.

I am 18 year old i suffer from weight gain and full of vitamin deficiencies

Female | 18

What happens when one lacks certain nutrients is that they might feel fatigued easily, become weak, or even lose their hair among other things. One way through which this trend can be reversed would involve taking fruits and vegetables in plenty to raise vitamin levels while at the same time making sure that you don’t gain excess weight.  Another method would be including foods like leafy greens; and citrus fruits within your meals

Which sugar level suitable in 56

Male | 56

Normal blood sugar levels are between 70 and 140 mg/dL. If the levels drop, symptoms like shakiness and dizziness occur. Higher levels lead to thirst and fatigue. Balancing meals and exercise maintains stable sugar readings. Consult a doctor for concerns regarding your sugar levels.

triglyceride level all time between 240 to 300. It does not matter what I am eating. I followed strict diet but still result same. What I have to do?

Male | 26

If your triglycerides are regularly from 240 to 300, that’s high. Usually, too many triglycerides mean you don’t eat well (like junk food all the time) and you don’t do exercise. But sometimes, it can come from your family. Rarely have symptoms but maybe sometimes hurt your stomach or give you pancreatitis. Eat the right things more, exercise, and don’t smoke or drink so much if you want lower levels.
