21 Month Old with Blood in Diarrhea
I'm just concerned about my 21 month old son. He has had diarrhea today the second bowel movement I noticed a small streak of blood. He hasn't had blood anymore but he has diarrhea. He's eating normally and acting normally no fever. It doesn't have a foul smell, it smells sweet and mucusy. What's wrong with him? We have to leave tomorrow for a family trip? Should I cancel? Is he sick?

It's understandable to be concerned about your son's symptoms. Diarrhea with a small streak of blood could be due to a minor irritation or infection. Since he is eating and acting normally without a fever, it might not be serious, but it's best to consult a pediatrician to ensure he's okay.

My 4 year old has had a stomach flu since Saturday, she was vomiting up until Monday night and has had barely appetite, she is very thirsty even though she stopped vomiting and has been drinking a lot of pedialite and water, no vomiting or diarrhea since Monday night… why is she still so thirsty?????
Female | 4
When someone has stomach flu, their body loses lots of fluids. Even though vomiting ceased, her body might still be trying to regain lost fluids, causing increased thirst. Continue providing Pedialyte and water to help her rehydrate. If she doesn't improve or struggles keeping fluids down, contact a pediatrician.

Hi, my baby is 1 year and 3 month old, he is stooling watery every midnight for 3 days now, am on birth control injection, could it be the birth control or am pregnant pls am confused
Female | 1
A 1-year-old might have watery stools for various reasons. It's unlikely related to birth control. It could be a stomach bug or something they ate. Watch for signs of dehydration: dry mouth, no tears when crying. Give your baby more fluids. If watery stools persist, consult your child's pediatrician.

Neck troncesse age 4 yere
Male | 4
A 4-year-old may experience neck stiffness. Poor posture or minor injury strains the neck muscles. Turning the neck becomes difficult. Gentle neck movements help. Apply a warm compress. Give pain relievers if needed. If symptoms persist or worsen, see a pediatrician.

I’m worried about my daughters certain movement she’s 2 and half month old
Female | 0
Babies usually have different movements when growing. Your 2.5-month-old daughter may show jerky, shaky motions. Her developing nervous system causes this. These movements normally go away as she ages. Contact your pediatrician if concerned about any signs.

Female | 0
Babies double their weight by six months, so it's good you pay attention. If yours isn't gaining weight properly, reasons could include insufficient intake, medical issues, or natural smallness. Rather than calculating solo, discuss with the pediatrician - they'll identify the actual cause and recommend ideal steps for your little one's progress.

Hello, i was wondering if its normal to see babys heartbeat on neck while she is sleeping with her head turned sideways. Its not hard, but its visible. She is healthy and growing like she should. She is 8months.
Female | 8 months
It looks completely natural to see your daughter's heartbeat on her neck while she sleeps on her side. Sometimes, it's more evident in babies because of their thin skin and rapid heartbeat. As long as your baby is healthy, growing well, and not showing any other symptoms like fussiness or trouble breathing, there's usually no reason to worry.

My daughter is 2 years old. she has cough and cold amd mild fever and i give her allegra and cherry cough both 3.5 ml and 2.5ml and mow I realise these both for cough and cold then i am worried now what to do
Female | 2
Cough, cold, and mild fever can be uncomfortable, especially for children. The common cold and flu are two main causes of cough and cold in kids. Both Allegra and cherry cough syrup can help treat these symptoms. However, it’s best to give only one medication that addresses the needed symptoms, which reduces the amount of medicine given to the child. Make sure she gets plenty of rest, drinks lots of fluids, and consider using a humidifier in her room to help relieve congestion. If her temperature doesn’t go down or if she seems to be in pain, it’s better to consult a pediatrician for proper advice.

Hand, foot, and mouth disease affects many youngsters. Still, adults may contract this viral issue too. Symptoms have fever, aches when swallowing, and blister formations on hands, feet, and in the mouth region. Spreading occurs via close-contact situations. To heal, rest adequately, consume fluids diligently, and utilize pain relievers as required. Avoid transmitting further by washing hands frequently.

I have a son who is 4 yrs he snore so loudly at night what could be the issue
Male | 4
It is quite common for kids to snore, however, when it is loud, it may be a hint of a health problem. Snoring mainly occurs when the airflow to your son's lungs is obstructed while he is asleep. This condition can occur because of enlarged tonsils or adenoids, allergies, or simply anatomy. Sometimes it may lead to poor quality of sleep. To assist, consider making his room cooler, keeping his bed clean, and if you're worried, talking to a pediatrician.

my son has a tongue tie, pls suggest me what to do, he is 1 month 4 days old
Male | 1month
When a muscle under the tongue is too tight, it's called a tongue tie. Babies may struggle to nurse, sticking their tongue out, or even speaking later. A fast procedure named a frenotomy releases that tight tissue. Quick and painless, it fixes the issue. Reach out to a pediatrician. They'll guide you on if it's needed.

Male | 3
Your son's high fever and cough for 4 days is understandable. The blood test shows inflammation or infection. This could be bacterial, causing the fever and cough. The doctor advised an X-ray to identify the issue. Antibiotics may help treat infection. Ensure your son rests well, drinks enough fluids, and takes medicines as prescribed by a pediatrician.

My 4yrs kid is having heavy cough and cold from 3-4 days. Its getting worse day by day. He is having continuous cough
Male | 4
Kids deal with coughing and colds differently. Typical signs include a drippy nose, sneezing fits, and lingering cough. Viruses spread easily, causing these issues. Make sure your kiddo drinks enough liquids, rests well, and uses a humidifier to alleviate coughing. You could offer honey as well. If your child appears very ill or struggles breathing, seek medical attention promptly.
