21 Month Old with Blood in Diarrhea

I'm just concerned about my 21 month old son. He has had diarrhea today the second bowel movement I noticed a small streak of blood. He hasn't had blood anymore but he has diarrhea. He's eating normally and acting normally no fever. It doesn't have a foul smell, it smells sweet and mucusy. What's wrong with him? We have to leave tomorrow for a family trip? Should I cancel? Is he sick?

It's understandable to be concerned about your son's symptoms. Diarrhea with a small streak of blood could be due to a minor irritation or infection. Since he is eating and acting normally without a fever, it might not be serious, but it's best to consult a pediatrician to ensure he's okay.

It's important to have your baby seen by a pediatric dermatologist, as scabies can cause severe itching and discomfort. Scabies is treatable with medications, but proper diagnosis and treatment by a specialist are essential.

Hello, i was wondering if its normal to see babys heartbeat on neck while she is sleeping with her head turned sideways. Its not hard, but its visible. She is healthy and growing like she should. She is 8months.

Female | 8 months

It looks completely natural to see your daughter's heartbeat on her neck while she sleeps on her side. Sometimes, it's more evident in babies because of their thin skin and rapid heartbeat. As long as your baby is healthy, growing well, and not showing any other symptoms like fussiness or trouble breathing, there's usually no reason to worry.

Every month my son is viral infected pls suggest to better for her..

Male | 5

If your son is frequently getting viral infections every month, it's important to consult a pediatrician. They can assess his immune system and overall health to determine if there are underlying causes or preventive measures that can be taken. A pediatrician specializing in infectious diseases can provide tailored advice and treatments to help strengthen his immunity and reduce the frequency of infections.

My 4yrs kid is having heavy cough and cold from 3-4 days. Its getting worse day by day. He is having continuous cough

Male | 4

Kids deal with coughing and colds differently. Typical signs include a drippy nose, sneezing fits, and lingering cough. Viruses spread easily, causing these issues. Make sure your kiddo drinks enough liquids, rests well, and uses a humidifier to alleviate coughing. You could offer honey as well. If your child appears very ill or struggles breathing, seek medical attention promptly.
