My brother is 8 years old and he is 25 kg. He take 10mg Loratadine everyday and it has been 8 days since he started taking it. Today he accidentally took 20 mg. First time he took it was 3 hours ago and second time was 40 minutes ago. What can we do? Is it dangerous? We don’t have availability for doctor right now.
Male | 8
Accidentally taking a higher dose of Loratadine can cause symptoms like drowsiness, headache, or fast heartbeat, especially in children. Since your brother took 20 mg instead of 10 mg, it's important to monitor him closely for any unusual symptoms. Try to keep him calm and hydrated. If you notice severe symptoms or you're concerned, please seek immediate medical advice from a pediatrician or visit the nearest hospital for evaluation and guidance.

Good morning everyone I need advise please. Sihle was playing in the lounge doing mini handstands then she fell on her mouth and I heard screaming. After running to see why she was crying I then saw her baby top tooth came out with the root I then rinsed her mouth with water. I need to know will it grow again once her adult teeth come in cause it came out with the root
Female | 3
When a baby tooth dislodges along with its root, it usually doesn't regrow. However, there's no need to be afraid. In due course, adult teeth will replace the missing one. Meanwhile, monitor for any discomfort or infection signs. Maintain oral hygiene and provide soft edibles. If worried, consulting a dentist ensures all is well.

Good morning sir/madam Penta vallent vaccine by mistake injected hand 0.01 ml in my baby any problem please tell me
Female | 31
It's okay if a small amount of the five-dose vaccine was given to your baby’s hand by mistake. The area may become red, swollen, or painful where the injection was made – this should disappear by itself. Keep an eye on it and if there are any strange changes or if you are worried at all contact a pediatrician.

Hy i am 14 year old and i wet the bed please help me
Male | 14
A lot of kids, even at age 14, go through bedwetting. Your body isn't controlling the bladder yet during sleep hours. Don't fret, most youngsters outgrow this issue eventually. You could try using the bathroom right before bedtime. Skip drinking liquids in the evening hours too. Speak with your doctor for extra advice to fix this.

This could be related to the liver, gallbladder, or a change in diet. The stool color might change if your baby isn't eating his snacks. To be safe, monitor your baby's stool color, and if the change persists, consult your pediatrician. Keep offering a variety of foods to find out what your baby likes to eat.

At two months old, babies should be fed only breastmilk or formula. Cow milk can be too much for their stomachs, resulting in problems such as stomach pains and anaemia. It is important to consult with the pediatrician before making any changes.

I am seeing this issue especially after Covid for past 1 year . Should I worry about this? Should I just give more time? His weight is not at all increasing. He is at 22 for the past 1 year. His height has increased but becoming very lean. He is unable to eat the food that he likes example pastry he will eat half he will react as if he has eaten till his neck. Which specialist should I consult?
Male | 6
Your son seems to have eating troubles after Covid. This issue needs attention. Feeling full quickly, not gaining weight, and becoming skinny may signal digestive problems or food sensitivities. See a pediatric gastroenterologist for diagnosis and treatment plan. You're wise noticing his changed eating habits and seeking help early. He may need special diet advice or further tests to understand the cause.

I have 19 months baby boy right hand pimples small full hand
Male | 2
Your 19-month-old son might have something that looks like tiny pimples on his or her right hand. This is likely because of a skin condition known as eczema, which is quite common among children. Common symptoms include redness, itching, and small bumps. Providing the skin with baby lotion and avoiding harsh soaps are some of the ways to keep the skin moisturized. If the problems persist or get worse, it is recommended to visit a pediatrician.

Don't stress if your 20-month-old hasn't pooped for 6 days but seems okay. Constipation is normal for kids. You're right to offer more liquids. Water, prune juice, pears are good options. Whole grains, veggies, beans may also assist. Keep her active. If she still doesn't poop after trying these, it's wise to see a pediatrician.
