Why is my stomach bloating and chest irritable?
Initially I was facing gas issues with my stomach for quite a few years now especially during the evening time. From almost last 2 years, started to have issues with my chest bloating after eating or drinking and just below the chest in the middle lots of irritation after eating as it feels heavy. Especially at night after dinner even after an hour or more i cannot lie down as the food seems to come up my throat and i start to feel the pain near my esophagus, what should I do? I also have had medicines i.e. Nexium and Lesuride but it only gives relief for some time and then same issue. Please suggest.

been under investigation for upper left sided stomach and chest pain for about 2 years now. The pain usually comes during strenuous activity causing me to stop what I’m doing. I had a hiatus hernia which recently got repaired by surgery to stop the acid reflux but doctors did not think that this would stop the pain I was getting which it hasn’t! I’ve had CT scans which have supposedly been normal, an ultra sound which shown an enlarged spleen and an hematoma on the spleen. (Doctors don’t seem concerned by this) Bloods are also fairly normal as been told nothing stands out. Not sure what causes this pain as it’s interfering with every day life

Drink lots of water when it hurts so bad plus get some rest with easy foods like toast or crackers until dawn break. I keep getting lower back pain and had issue with rectal bleeding and when I wipe toilet bowl is full of blood sometimes pink and some times dark red had the rectal bleeding for over a year I have had 2 colonoscopy scans and Yorkshire Clinic and Eccleshill Community Hospital stated I had piles last year but the rectal bleeding is still occurring and I had a bowel bleed about 2:30 am on the 28th July 2024 and first time I contacted my Gp about the bowel bleed was around the 5th May 2023 according to the patches website Previous GP also refused to issue me a fit not for the back pain last year and the back pain is still occurring. I had inguinal hernia January 2021 which was repaired by Bradford royal infirmary and an Umbilical hernia was repaired by a consultant at Yorkshire clinic and I have gained weight due to the back problem with not been able to get around much.

I've been having constipation problems for about a year or a little more now. I don't have any serious signs of IBD nor chron's disease. I constantly have to wait about 2 days to empty my bowel. I don't quite understand what causes this problem, but I also have a habit of sucking my stomach in a lot, so maybe could that be it?

My ALT test result was 347iu but apart from feeling extremely tired, not being able to sleep and constipation. My doctor didn’t seem worried and says he’ll repeat test in a month.
