I am paraplegic due to spine Tumour is it can be recovered may I walk again?
Female | 28
Spine tumour leading to paraplegia is a disease that requires specialist care. It is best to work with a neurologist or spine specialist who will evaluate your situation and advise you of any possible treatment alternatives. Recovery, that is to walk again is dependent upon the tumour type and extent of spinal cord damage.

Hello, my Mother in law (70 years) is suffering from misbalancing and in-coordination of feet movement which has severely worsened during last 3 years. All the pathology test appears are normal. The sensory test is also normal. There is an uncontrolled trembling that occurs frequently. Now, this symptom is gradually being observed in the upper limbs also. Progressive myelopathy with no medication available has been diagnosed by a Neurologist. What are the options available for the treatment?
Bracing, physical therapy and medication are treatments for mild myelopathy and mainly reduce pain, allowing you to return to your daily activities. Nonsurgical treatment does not remove the compression. Spinal decompression surgery is a generally preferred treatment for myelopathy to relieve pressure on the spinal cord. A surgery can also be used to remove bone spurs or herniated discs if they are the cause of myelopathy. For advanced myelopathy caused by stenosis, a surgical procedure to increase the channel space of your spinal cord (laminoplasty) recommended. Consult a spinal surgeon - Spinal Surgery doctors in Mumbai, you can also search for a different city.

why am I weak every time, dizzy, and sometimes collapse with headache and lose of appetite..
Female | 25
You may be wondering if you have an iron deficiency. Anemia is a condition that develops when your body does not have enough red blood cells to carry oxygen. This may result in fatigue and strange symptoms of dizziness and headaches. A decrease in appetite is another situation that is often found. Intake of green leafy vegetables like spinach, seeds high in protein like beans and lean meat may be helpful. Besides, your doctor may also bring up the consumption of iron supplements to improve your red blood cell count.

I have migraine and Hello. OK, so the symptoms are my headache has become more frequent, like more frequent. Before it used to come like in two weeks once, but now it is like in a gap of two days maximum something. And it has become more intense, very intense. It has become like, you know, very, very much intense. Secondly, the painkiller doesn't seem to help at all. Before it used to work, now it doesn't help.Lastly, not exactly Lastly, it lasts much longer. You know like Pehle, it used, it used to go away in one day, but now it lasts for two to three days. And then I'm also experiencing ear pain which is behind my ears also and then inside the ear also, like my whole ear is paining with ear behind also. Then I get extremely nauseous, OK, and then sometimes even a bit dizzy. And then I have sensitivity to light and sound OK, motion sensitivity one side.It paints more and there's more frequent other side. It is not frequent. Doesn't mean it is not there. It happens other side also. It pains but one side is more frequent. And then while in headache I do try to sleep it off, but due to pain sleeping it off becomes difficult and if by chance I get sleep then there are chances it will go away. And then after it goes away still there is weakness, like I feel extreme weakness. What can it be?
Female | 18
The type of headaches you are having, which more often than not, are very intense, with earache, dizziness, and hypersensitivity to light and sound, all symptoms suggest a likely migraine. Migraines occur when your brain is hypersensitive to the things that your body would normally be able to cope with such as stress, lack of sleep, or even something you eat. To achieve the goal of migraine control, you can use a headache diary, stay hydrated, be well-rested, and avoid the triggers. Even if the symptoms get more serious or become a major obstacle in your everyday activities, it's always a good move to seek medical advice from a healthcare practitioner.

Some of the things that can cause daily headaches are stress, sleep deprivation, and poor diet. If the headache does not improve, it would be wise to consult a neurologist for more treatment.

I have 1 pea size lymph node on both side of my neck since 1 month I also have post nasal drip.. I feel numbness like feeling in my neck throat and mouth some times I feel tingling in my head.. From yesterday I feel mild pain in front side of my neck
Female | 28
Your body fights infections through swollen lymph nodes in your neck. Post nasal drip irritates your throat and mouth, causing numbness. Tingling in your head might stem from sensitive nerves. It's crucial to get evaluated and treated by a neurologist. They'll determine the underlying cause and provide proper care for your symptoms.

My father is now 78 years old and before 8 months he was having stroke and now it’s recovered, today morning his face started swelling mainly both lower & upper lips.
Male | 78
Swelling in the face, particularly around the lips, may result from a number of causes like allergies, infections, or fluid retention. It is beneficial that your father has returned to his healthy state after his stroke, but any new symptoms should not be neglected. This swelling maybe developed into an allergy or it would be a causal issue. I suggest you consult a neurologist. They will do tests on him to identify the problem before they decide on treatment.

Yesterday I had leg and feets pain like sprain today at night suddenly it started twitching it was so intense that I was moving my legs hands arm it was more in arm I was crying out ???? and and teeth were shivering and now suddenly my pain disappeared and shivering also disappeared I still can't stop crying. my forehead is hot and my teeth are shivering but I am not feeling much cold on my feet but there is some coldness
Female | 18
The twitching and shaking may be the result of muscle spasms caused by dehydration, low levels of certain minerals like potassium or calcium, or overexertion of muscles. A hot forehead could be a sign of increased body temperature. Be sure to drink enough water and eat foods rich in minerals like bananas, nuts, and dairy products. On the other hand, taking a warm bath and resting can also help relax your muscles. If these symptoms continue, it is necessary to see a neurologist.

Hi, Doctor. I am 14 years old. I eat gingko biloba to improve memory but I seem to be allergic to it. what should I do, can I take these two pills (Allergic medical )at the same time or alternately? What are the doctor's recommended supplements that I can eat to improve memory? Best greats, sharifah
Female | 14
It's great that you're looking to improve your memory, but it's best not to take anything you're allergic to. Rash, itching, or even difficulty breathing can occur as allergic reactions to ginkgo biloba. You should stop taking it if you are allergic. Instead, maybe try omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin D, or magnesium. These are good for memory too.

I'm Amit Das 29 years old. I was watching the mobile for a long time, my mind started moving towards me, when I wake up from sleep , my whole body started moving towards me, when I started moving, my mind started moving somewhere, when I started sleeping, then again my body started moving along with my mind. Yes, all this is happening since last 3 days, there is a lot of pain before sleeping, checked that BP is low. Can this be right?
Male | 19
Prolonged screen time can cause tiredness and it might be the reason for these feelings. It is necessary to rest a little from the mobile phone and make sure you are drinking enough water and eating properly to help your blood pressure. However, given that this has continued for a few days, I strongly advise you to visit a healthcare professional. They can suggest a personalized approach and check whether there are any hidden issues. Take care of yourself and request substantial medical advice.

It is quite normal to experience headaches due to hormonal changes and lack of sleep after childbirth. However, headache shooting coupled with chest and throat pain should not be ignored. I am suffering from 20 years headache and vomiting .Now I am taking medicine with my psychiatrist phycian. Some time I feel batter after taking medicine and some time I feel bad.
Female | 43
It is possible to have headaches and nausea coming from different causes such as stress, tension, or medical disorders that are hidden. The likelihood that your pain changes with medicine implies that either the dose or the type needs to be altered. I recommend you communicate constantly with your psychiatrist to manage the problem efficiently. Keeping a symptom diary is one way to determine the patterns and triggers. Alternatively, try mind-body exercises or changes in lifestyle as they will undoubtedly help to get relief. You can consult a neurologist for advice.
