Why No Period After Abortion?
My abortion in before 2month but not periods start
Gynecologist
Answered on 23rd May '24
It's not unusual for someone who had an abortion not to menstruate right after. Their bodies may take up to 2 months to reestablish the natural cycle. Few points that need attention are that there can be severe vaginal fluid, fever, or pain (jaundice). When experiencing these infections could develop. Infections will need treatment with antibiotics. Your period may eventually continue not to come, but if you're worried about it, go to your doctor. If you notice anything unusual, seeking some medical advice by a gynecologist would be the best solution.

Why is my LMP gestation is 38 weeks 4 days and gestation age by BPD /FL is 34 weeks
Female | 24
The Last Menstrual Period (LMP) calculates gestation from the start of your last period, while gestational age by Biparietal Diameter (BPD) or Femur Length (FL) measures the baby's size. The difference in weeks might be due to variations in fetal growth rates. Your obstetrician can provide more insight and guidance based on these measurements. It's always best to consult them for a clearer understanding of your pregnancy progress.

My wife had her period start on August 4th and we had sex using the pull-out method on August 8th, during her period. She has a 35-day menstrual cycle. She is not experiencing any pregnancy symptoms. We had sex again on September 3rd, also using the pull-out method. Can you please assess the likelihood of pregnancy? Starting tomorrow, she is experiencing white discharge, uterine pain, mood swings, and fluctuating feelings of cold and hot.
Female | 19
The odds of conception are slim because of the period you had sex, which is a less fertile time. The symptoms she is showing now could be a result of hormonal changes, which is especially true if her period is soon arriving. White discharge is a usual dark and mood swings and temperature changes are possible with hormone fluctuations. See that she drinks enough water, sleeps enough, and applies a heating pad if her uterine pain bothers her.

I am having a vaginal boils since from 1-2 months
Female | 19
It may sound like you have vaginal boils, which are red, swollen lumps that can hurt. They occur when hair follicles or sweat glands are blocked. Gently clean the area with warm water and do not squeeze them. Loose clothes and warm compresses may help. If they do not go away or they get worse, it’s a good idea to see a gynecologist for a check-up.

Am I pregnant if I got period 2 days after sex and my period lasted 3 days
Female | 32
Your period arriving signifies you are not pregnant. Having your period 2 days post intimacy, lasting 3 days, makes pregnancy improbable. Sometimes our bodies behave strangely, causing unusual bleeding. If concerned, take a pregnancy test for reassurance.

After years of having sex, suddenly Everytime I try to during intercourse I get a very strong burning sensation and can’t continue. It’s been a year now with the same exact thing.. I don’t have ANY other symptoms. I just want to know why I can’t have intercourse anymore? Thank you
Female | 23
It's possible that you may be experiencing a condition called dyspareunia, which is pain or discomfort during intercourse. It happens due to vaginal dryness, infections or hormonal changes. It could also be a vaginal infection, such as yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis, which can cause inflammation and irritation in the vaginal area. Even stress or anxiety or certain medications can cause irritation. Just consult with an obstetrician/gynecologist or a urologist, to properly diagnose and treat your symptoms. This can be treated with medications, hormone therapy, or physical therapy.

I'm 27 year old female,I got married in April 2023 , I got my periods in 28 days but from the 6 months I will get between 30 to 35 days , is it normal or should I consult doctor and I put on weight (93kg)
Female | 27
It’s normal for your periods to change a bit after marriage. Stress or weight gain due to different lifestyles can affect your cycle. Having irregular periods could be because of these. If you’ve gained some weight, it may be a factor. Doing exercises to lose some weight and eating healthier may help in regulating the period. However, if it persists, seek further advice from a gynecologist.

I have recently had unprotected sex thrice. I also consumed ipill all those times the next morning itself. The last time I had unprotected sex was on 15th May and ipill on 16th may morning. Past 2-3 days I have been getting very bad cramps in my lower abdomen and I'm bleeding (spotting) blood clots. I have PCOD and I do not get my periods. I get it very rarely, twice or thrice in a year. I don't remember my last period date. Are these the side effects of the ipill or are there any chances of pregnancy/miscarriage?
Female | 23
The cramps and bleeding with blood clots might be caused by the ipill. It can change menstrual bleeding at times. However, because your periods are irregular and you have polycystic ovarian syndrome, other possible reasons should not be left out. These signs could also result from hormonal variations or maybe pregnancy is on the way. See a gynecologist who will help find out what these mean.

I had my last periods on June 17 till now I didn't get periods
Female | 23
It's common for periods to be irregular sometimes. Stress, changes in weight, or hormonal imbalances can be the reasons for irregularity. If you have other symptoms like fatigue, headaches, or acne, you might have a hormonal imbalance. To help regulate your period, eat good food, exercise, and reduce stress. If this continues, it's best to check in with a gynecologist.

I am a 15 yr old female who has had some light bleeding in between periods and for the past two weeks I’ve been having at least some bleeding every day (not rlly any cramps tho). I got my period about two years ago so it may still be adjusting or it may be stress. Any ideas? I don’t rlly want to go to the doctor because I don’t wanna concern my family.
Female | 15
You seem to be going through some interval problems with your periods, which can be worrying. This may happen because your body has not yet fully adjusted to a regular period. Irregular bleeding can also be caused by stress. Ensure to look after yourself by nourishing your body, being active, and reducing stress. If the bleeding is still there or increases, do not be reluctant to talk to a gynecologist, to get some advice.

I used an emergency contraception about a month and a half ago, and found my self in a situation where I need to use one again now. In February I had a miscarriage and I’m just wondering how many times I can use emergency contraception, and if it’s okay to even after having a miscarriage. I have used probably about 6 in my life. Is there a limit to how many a woman can take? Will it affect my gynecological health?
Female | 21
Emergency contraception is intended for occasional and emergency use, not as a regular form of birth control. While there is no strict limit on how many times emergency contraception can be used, it's important to understand that it is not as effective or reliable as regular contraception methods.
Repeated use of emergency pills can disrupt hormonal balance in your body and cause irregularities in your menstrual cycle. It's recommended to speak personally with a gynec about more reliable and appropriate forms of contraception that can better suit your needs and provide ongoing protection.

I am unmarried My period late 9 days ,I had intercourse 64 days ago . August 12 I got my period and August 19 I make intercourse after that September 14 I got periods later October 14 was my periods days but today October 22 my period is not came I have taken pregnancy test at October 23 result is negative I don't have any symptoms and last month I had fasting at night for 3 weeks is this the reason for my period late their is chance for pregnant
Female | 21
Stress, changes in the diet, or fasting sometimes can cause the delay of your period. Since your negative pregnancy test and the absence of any symptoms make the pregnancy case less likely, it's almost impossible for you to be pregnant. Just give it some more time. Do remember that you have to take care of yourself, eat well, and try to be relaxed. It's always good to talk to a gynecologist if your period still doesn't come, or if you have any concerns.

I am a 24 year old female I have been spotting with clear discharge since your last period which is for the past 7 days The discharge has a sticky clear jelly-like texture with strands of blood. I also have cramps, but the pain is not severe.
Female | 24
You might have ovulation bleeding. This happens when your body lets out an egg. You might see a bit of blood or clear sticky stuff. It is normal to have small cramps too. It will go away soon. Drink water and rest. You can put a warm thing on your belly if you need to.

Last month I had 2 period.first one started on 5/8/24 and second one started on 23/8/24. On 4/9/24 I had an unprotected sex so can I get pregnant with it???? And I am a pcod patient also.So can I take emergency contraception pill?? Will it be safe for future pregnancy?
Female | 24
It's possible to get pregnant if you had unprotected sex on 4/9/24. If you have PCOD, it may hurt your fertility. Consider taking the emergency pill, which is a good way to prevent pregnancy, but consult your gynecologist beforehand, especially since you are planning for a baby.

Hi, I am in the second month of pregnancy. Is it possible for the baby to die (his heartbeat stops) without me knowing because of pregnancy control pills? I am afraid because I lost my baby in the first month last time
Female | 24
Pregnancy control pills won't stop your little one's heartbeat. Signs that may indicate issues include vaginal bleeding, abdomen cramps, and reduced pregnancy indicators. To ensure everything's okay with your baby, it's wise to discuss any worries with your gynecologist.

Am 15 year old having burning and itching sensation at vigina after peeing and then remains for the whole day what to do now?
Female | 15
You may have a urinary tract infection (UTI), a common disease. A bacterium that enters the urinary tract is one of the causes of such an infection. The sensation of burning and itching after urinating is a typical symptom of a UTI. You must drink plenty of water rather than holding in the urine. If the urge to pee occurs immediately, don't wait until you are comfortable. In addition, you should better put on cotton underwear and abstain from perfumed soaps in that area. If the symptoms do not improve, or become worse, it is necessary to see a doctor to run some tests and probably take some medicine to clear off the infection.

Iam 35 years old female n I was wondering how did I get Cervical cancer
Female | 35
The problem of cervical cancer is caused when the cells in the cervix get as a matter of fact, out of hand. The primary connection is through the HPV virus, which is transmitted during sexual activities. Some non-specific symptoms may also be there including the following: bleeding from the unusual site the woman has never experienced before, pain during sex, and pelvic pain. The use of Pap smears and HPV vaccines is one of the ways to minimize the risk of cervical cancer. This may happen to the p. by surgery, radiation, or chemotherapy.

So actually I have irregular periods so 2 month of missed period then I got into a intercourse then I ate that ipill after that within some days i got my periods then after it is like 3 months approx but I'm not getting my period so what does it mean
Female | 20
Missing periods can have many reasons such as stress, hormonal changes, or underlying health issues. For instance, taking emergency contraception like the ipill can also affect your menstrual cycle. Should the issue of menstruation not appearing be bothering you for a long time, it is better to get in touch with a gynecologist for more information and assistance.
