Male | 47
When the liver has a problem (echogenicity decreased) and the tubes that carry bile are not big (ducts and veins not dilated), it can indicate that the liver is not functioning properly. This sometimes occurs due to infections or a liver that is too fat. To get the right treatment, you must see a hepatologist for a check-up and more tests.

I have jondies bilirubin count 1.42 any problem???
Male | 36
Bilirubin, a yellow substance from old blood cells, is slightly high at 1.42, which exceeds normal limits. Elevated bilirubin can cause jaundice, leading to yellowing of the skin and eyes. This may indicate liver issues, gallstones, or infections. It's important to consult a hepatologist for further tests to identify the cause and get the right treatment.

My daughter has jaundice, what should I feed her?
Female | 5
Jaundice is a term that describes the yellow color of the skin and eyes which can be found in some people. This is a symptom of liver issues. Healthy liver-friendly foods, such as fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, should be included in your daughter's diet. Nothing oily or greasy should be on the menu. In addition, her water consumption should be high enough for her to resist dehydration. Treatment and monitoring by a hepatologist should be the first thing you do.

After drinking seven Penadol at once, what should you do before something happens?
Female | 16
I don't advocate that a person must take seven Panadol tablets all at once. It is an excessive amount and it can even be dangerous. If your body has absorbed that amount, it is necessary to immediately see a hepatologist, they will analyze you for side effects in case there are any and recommend the right treatment.

I have noticed I can see my pulse in my stomach, and it’s worrying me. I have recently researched stuff about abdominal aortic aneurysms (because I have health anxiety) and I noticed people state that is one of the symptoms. I don’t have any other symptoms, and I know it’s normal to see your pulse in your stomach sometimes, but a lot of people say it’s visible if you’re skinny and have less abdominal fat. I’m not skinny and I’m wondering if it’s still normal? I’m really worried if it’s not.
Female | 18
an abdominal aortic aneurysm needs medical intervention, the condition itself should be carefully evaluated. If your symptoms worry you, please make an appointment with a vascular professional as soon as possible.

Jaundice is a disorder that affects the color of your skin, making it look yellow, and your eyes, which make them look yellow. Symptoms include yellow skin and eyes, dark urine, and tiredness. Jaundice can be the result of liver ailments like liver inflammation, and hepatitis. A good way to help it is to drink lots of water and eat healthy foods. Get a lot of rest. Pricked with a needle after the patient. She was tested for antibodies to hepatitis C and accidentally tested for antibodies to the hepatitis B virus surface antigen after 4 months (result 2.38, at a rate of 10 IU/ ml of blood).1. Can I calm down a little bit about hepatitis B? 2. Can I do an express hepatitis test?3.If blood gets on the immediate skin, is this exactly a risk for infection?
Female | 30
Your hepatitis B virus surface antigen result is 2.38, which is below the normal threshold of 10 IU/ml, indicating you're likely not infected. So, you don't need to worry much about hepatitis B. If you want further reassurance, you can take a quick express test for fast results. The risk of infection from blood on your skin depends on factors like the amount of blood, any existing cuts, and how quickly you clean it off. Usually, brief contact with blood on the skin doesn't pose a high risk of hepatitis B infection. Overall, your levels are normal, so you can relax. But if you're still concerned, an express test can provide peace of mind.

Liver and muscle problems sometimes cause higher AST, ALT, and globulin levels. You may not have symptoms. But fatty liver, infections, and certain medications could be reasons. Eating healthy foods, exercise, and avoiding alcohol helps. Still, see your hepatologist to check and get advice.

I am samiullah 4y old male I have been having fever for last 3 months. I have taken many medicines like colistin, tigecline but I am not getting any relief. I have some cough and weakness. I have done many tests but all came back negative but my liver is swollen. HB-7.2 SGOT-135 SGOT-78 SERUM BILROBIN 3.9 XINE XPERT negative Blood culture - no growth CSF- normal
Male | 4
The complaints you have of long-lasting fever, cough, weakness, and swollen liver make me worried. The lab results hint that your hemoglobin is low, and liver enzyme levels are elevated. This could be an indication of some infection or inflammation in your body. Further investigations and a thorough evaluation by a hepatologist are needed to find out the exact cause and provide you with the right treatment.

I'm taking liver syrup from home. I'm black jaundice
Male | 34
Black jaundice, also known as hepatitis E, can make your skin and eyes turn yellow. It can lead to weariness, fever, and haul of the belly. This is due to the liver getting sick from a particular virus. To get better, sleep a lot, drink only clean water, and consume proper foods. Don't use alcohol and don't eat fatty foods. Your body will be able to destroy the virus in a few weeks.

Sir I was affected HCV 13 years ago after treatment I was completely cured and my PCR negative. But when ever I go for my medical to abroad they declared me unfit and reject my visa because HCV antibodies are shown in my Blood Elisa . Is there any solution to solve out this problem please guide Can I go for Plasma therapy to remove these antibodies from blood ....?
Male | 29
My suggestion would be to go to a liver specialist and do the necessary tests. Immune memory of HCV infection may persist. Not plasma therapy is advised to eliminate the antibodies to HCV. A hepatologist can refer you to more specialized care or recommend other treatment options.

My GGT Level in Liver Function Test is 465. What does that means? Any suggestions or medicines to reduce the same.
Male | 40
High GGT levels for a liver function test, an indication of liver disorder, is a sign that should be given attention to. It means, aside from tiredness, that an individual might also get jaundiced-skin or suffer from bellyache. It is possible that it can be due to drinking alcohol, liver disease, or some drugs. To lower these levels, try to stay away from alcoholic beverages, eat a healthy diet and have enough water. Make sure to get more accurate answers by visiting a hepatologist.
