Answered on 16th Oct '24
Are you experiencing a late period with very light spotting? This could have various causes like stress, hormone changes, or your daily routine changing. Sometimes, light spotting happens instead of a full period. Monitor your symptoms closely. If it keeps up, speak with a gynecologist for personalized guidance. Don't forget to drink lots of water, eat nutritious meals, and get enough rest to maintain good health and balance in your body.

I have done sex today so I don’t want to pregnant and I didn’t use safety so I want use I PILL tablet to not pregnant
Female | 19
The “morning-after pill” is a type of emergency contraception that can prevent pregnancy if taken within a certain time after unprotected sexual intercourse. It does this by stopping or delaying ovulation (the release of eggs), which means there’s no egg for sperm to fertilize. Some common side effects include nausea, headache, and tiredness. Remember that this should not be used as regular birth control. If you are worried, you can reach out for further advice from a gynecologist.

Mastrubate on uppeelips of vagina not in vagina Can this cause any nerve damage? And can the hymen be broken only by masturbating on the upper lips? Only use finger.leaving me masturbating It's been almost 2 years .so now i'm married So, will masturbation have any effect on my married life??Will my body be repaired in 2 years? And masturbation does not cause infertility issues. ???
Female | 22
Masturbating on the outer part of the vagina, the upper lips do not cause nerve damage or break the hymen. Masturbation is a normal and safe activity that does not interfere with your marriage or fertility. The body naturally heals itself, so any leftovers from old habits should not be a concern for you now.

I got late period for 10 days.my last period was on August 12 .had sex on August 11 and September 17 and 18 using condom.why I am getting my period late.is it due to pregnancy
Female | 24
Stress, weight fluctuations, and hormonal imbalance are some of the factors that can cause a delay in your period. As you had protected sex and your period is late only by 10 days, it is unlikely you are pregnant.

Hello doctor My partner and i had sex on 31 july this year. I was on diane pills for about 15 days and continued the remaining 6 pills according to the schedule. My partner also did not cum inside. I also have pcos. I took 5 pregnancy tests at different time during the last 25 days which all came negative. I also bleed for 5 days from 13-17 august but since yesterday i am spotting. I also have left the birth control now after taking it for last 4 months and had no sexual intercourse after that. Can i still be pregnant?
Female | Diya
Reasons for bleeding and spotting can be many, especially when you have PCOS. Probably the adjustments you made to the birth control and PCOS could be the triggers for the symptoms you are experiencing. The possibility of you being pregnant is very low, but if you have any worries, you better see your gynecologist.

Am 40 weeks pg,on saturday I saw discharge with a drop of blood then later had strong braxton hicks until around 1am which disappeared until yesterday 4pm, I've seen brownish little discharge from time to time since then with little cramping, am I okay
Female | 27
Maybe you’re having some symptoms that suggest your body might be getting prepared for delivery. The blood drop could occur because your cervix is beginning to open. A brownish discharge along with cramps are normal as well since this means that your body is readying itself for birth. Make sure you rest, drink plenty of water, and watch the cramps. If you start feeling worried or cramping gets worse don’t hesitate to contact a gynecologist.

I am saba 38 years old female I am a mother of 3 now i want to get pregnant for the 4th time and my age is 38 but i am unable to concieve this time so i got some blood test of TSH and AMH so my TSH is 3.958 and AMH is 0.24 so can you please tell me that can i get pregnant or not I didnt take any medications for concieveing for my earlier three successful pregnancies.I was taking medications like Tab Ovaflow 25mg in morning daily Tab CQ10 100MG daily 1 Tab retzole 2.5
Female | 38
Your TSH level is slightly high, which can affect your fertility. Your AMH level is also on the lower side, indicating a decreased egg reserve. These factors could make it harder for you to get pregnant. Your doctor may recommend treatments such as fertility medications or assisted reproductive technology to help you conceive. Follow your gynecologist's instructions for the best chance of success.

hi i just got an abortion 2 weeks ago and some round tissue filled with liquid inside comes out of my vagina. i dont know what it is and i dont know if my abortion is successful.
Female | 23
The tissue filled with liquid is likely a clot or tissue from the abortion. Some discharge happens as your body heals. If you feel okay otherwise, it may just be part of getting back to normal. But if you have pain, fever, or heavy bleeding, tell your gynecologist to make sure it's not an issue.

When should I take a pregnancy test being 11 days late and sexually active?
Female | 16
If 11 days have passed since the date of the expected period but you have done the love deeds, it is a good idea to check whether you are pregnant. Irregular periods and being sexually active are among the most common signs of pregnancy. You can be pregnant if you haven't used a condom while you have sex. Pregnancy tests that you can do at home are an accurate method to find out. The tests reveal pregnancy hormones in your urine.

PV discharge since 3 months.
Female | 21
Generally, a 3-month discharge from the private area is not normal. Are there any colors or smells in this discharge? The most common ones are infections or hormonal fluctuations. Infections require medication, while hormonal changes can be treated with lifestyle measures. A gynecologist should be consulted for detailed diagnosis and treatment to know the exact cause and recover as soon as possible.

I am 17+ years old. My vagina is dry for the last 2 months. And the vagina is not slippery during sex. It hurts a lot. It is very difficult. After sex, there is a lot of pain and burning.
Female | 17
You may be suffering from a condition called vaginal dryness. In cases like these, if the vagina is produced less moisture than it should, vaginal intercourse with the partner can be painful and uncomfortable. There are many causes for dryness, such as hormonal changes, stress, medications, or some diseases. A lubricant can be used to alleviate friction during the act of sexual intercourse. You can get the relief you need by drinking a lot of water and consulting a gynecologist and discovering the reason behind the problem.

Sometimes periods get late. It happens for different reasons. Stress, routine changes, and hormones affect your cycle. Your tests were negative, so chances are low you're pregnant. But if worried or your period stays away, see a gynecologist. They'll find the real cause and guide you right.

we had sex(also pull out method) and period come early 3 days after sex and no second period is comming 42 days since last period . pregnancy test also negative done in 32 th day
Female | 19
It seems like you are worried about your period and the chance of getting pregnant. You should know that being stressed or having hormonal changes can cause your period to come earlier than expected sometimes. If you have got a negative result from the pregnancy test, this might mean that you are not pregnant but still, it’s better if you wait for a while before taking another one to make sure. If there is anything that you still do not understand well enough, then I think speaking with a gynecologist would be great for more advice.

The symptoms of ovarian failure following a hysterectomy may include hot flashes, night sweats and vaginal dryness. Menstrual patterns may change, and if ovaries were taken out, they will stop menstruating. Mood changes may include mood swings and irritability. Besides, low levels of estrogen may cause changes in libido. Ovarian failure can also impair bone health, which may influence bone density. If these manifestations occur, it is critical to seek the advice of your health care provider for proper assessment and intervention.

I was sexually involved 8 years back when i was 10 years old i don't know about this as i was young now i am 18 years old in these 8 years i never involved sexually with anyone but i have doubt that i could become pregnant as my weight is growing rapidly and i have periods but very little like for 2 or 3 days and not proper they are coming in not good quantity so iam scared please tell me that it is this or any other big issue or it is possible t get pregnant after 8 years of sexual intercourse and yeah when i was 15 or 16 i had PCOS also in corona time something
Female | 18
It's not possible to get pregnant after eight years of sexual intercourse. The symptoms you're having, like irregular periods and quick weight gain, can be explained by your PCOS. PCOS can bring hormonal imbalances which in turn lead to irregular periods. The first thing is to eat a healthy diet and exercise regularly to keep the PCOS symptoms at bay. If you're feeling unwell, go to a gynecologist for the right diagnosis and treatment.

I feel pains on my bladder as if my period 8s going to arrive now but nothing
Female | 27
You have pain in your bladder; it is like the pain you feel when your period is coming, but there is no period. The reason for this could be interstitial cystitis, which causes bladder pain. It could also be a urinary tract infection, that might lead to similar symptoms. To ease the pain, you are suggested to drink a lot of water, stay away from caffeine and alcohol, and also put a hot pad on your lower belly. If the pain doesn't go away, it is important to seek a gynecologist for further evaluation and treatment.
