I have a skin problem, there are some red spots around my thighs and they are itching very much, how can I get rid from this situation..
Male | 22
You might be fighting dermatitis, one of the most common skin problems. Red spots and itching around the thighs are the main symptoms. This, however, may be attributed to the use of certain soaps, sweating, or even irritation from clothing. To soften your skin, you may want to wear loose cotton clothes, use gentle soaps, and apply a non-irritating moisturizer. If the issue doesn't go away, visit a dermatologist for recommendations.

I am a 19 year old female. Within the past 6-10 months I’ve noticed my body hair getting darker, (not thicker,) in certain areas. I was wondering if this was normal and, if so what is the cause(s)? I do not think i have pcos, but I’m not sure if i should be concerned. Thank you!
Female | 19
The darkening of body hair in certain parts due to hormonal fluctuations does not mean something is wrong. This can be due to genetic and hormonal factors as well as environmental and behavioral aspects. Nevertheless, if along with dark hair you also have other symptoms like not having periods over long periods or having excessive hair growth, it is helpful to seek assistance from a dermatologist and do some tests for any irregularities.

Hello doc..I have painful rashes all over my body that later turn into scaly patches. What is my diagnosis
Female | 26
These rashes could mean psoriasis, a condition where immune issues make skin cells grow too fast. It causes red, itchy patches to turn scaly. To treat psoriasis, doctors may prescribe medicines and creams. These help ease symptoms and slow cell growth. But see a dermatologist for proper diagnosis and the right care.

Good day, I want to consult you regarding a congenital nevus and a female child aged 7.5 years. The nevus is visible at the back of the back, measuring 2-2.5cm vertically and 1-1.5cm horizontally. Is it safe to remove the nevus, is it possible to remove it completely, without leaving any cell that would continue to grow and become malignant. Is it safe in the sense that there is no risk of turning into melanoma if it is split? Thank you in advance for asking, Nice day
Female | 7
A birthmark that grows is called congenital nevus. Most are harmless, but removal could help if it bothers your child or risks becoming melanoma (cancer). Talk to a dermatologist. If removal is best, they'll do it carefully to minimize any left cells that could maybe become cancerous. Watch for changes. Follow the doctor's advice.

I am 34 yrs old female and I have acne and acne marks problem on my face - recently my face has been very dry and acne is coming also I have tight white pores issue which is making my skin look very dull and uneven.
Female | 34
As you are 34 years old, there might be some hormonal issues leading to acne. Consult local dermatologist for treatment who might prescribe you some topical antibiotics benzoyl peroxide or daplin or oral drugs depending upon the situation. It is advisable to use moisturizers, particularly water-based that do not uproot the pores because medication usage might result in dryness and little irritation. Your Skin will be much better after the treatment for Acne.

I have spot on penis last 2 days it's a abit sore had white head
Male | 35
Getting pimples on your penis happens, like the face. This one is irritated and painful. Sometimes sweat or rubbing causes them there. Don't touch it or try squeezing. Cleanliness and dryness help. However, if it worsens or persists, see a dermatologist soon.

Female | 23
It is recommended that you seek the advice of your dermatologist when considering any vitamin A supplements after ending your Accutane therapy. Toxicity occurs when too much vitamin A is ingested since the liver becomes affected. Based on your medical background and condition, the dosage and duration of vitamin A supplements will be recommended by a dermatologist.

my face is dark and acne on it
Male | 17
Dark skin patches and acne can occur due to sun exposure, hormonal changes, or clogged pores. To improve your skin, use gentle cleansers, keep your skin moisturized, and avoid harsh products. Drink plenty of water, eat healthy food, and resist picking at acne to prevent scarring. Also, protect your skin from the sun to reduce further darkening.

Is small white spots on whole face a sign of deficiency in some nutrients
Female | 46
Spots on the face could be a sign of a disease, called vitiligo, associated with white color. This occurs when melanocytes, the cells which produce pigmentation in the skin, are destroyed by the immune system. The best option is to go to a dermatologist who has a lot of experience in the management of patients with vitiligo.

mera white spot hua hai but color utna white nhi hai thik hone me kitna time lagega
Male | 28
Depending on what you are describing, it may be a type of skin disorder called vitiligo. With vitiligo, the cells that make the pigment in the skin are destroyed through the melanocyte process, thereby producing white spots on the skin. It is always best to book an appointment with a dermatologist.

Male | 47
You are suffering from a fungal infection of your left leg, which is causing a lot of discomfort. Fungal infections are, in general, a common occurrence and can be caused by the overgrowth of certain fungi on the skin. You can try keeping the area clean and dry, using antifungal creams, and wearing loose clothing. If the symptoms do not go away or worsen, consult a dermatologist.

Why do I still feel worm "tickles" and itches even after 3 deworm doses in 2 months?
Female | 42
It’s common to still feel worm tickles and itching even after taking three doses of deworming medicine over two months. This could be because some worms might be resistant to the medicine, or you might have been reinfected. A dermatologist can determine the best treatment plan for you.

I am a 37 year old female and have cellulitis. I’ve been on antibiotics for a little over 36 hours but the pain is getting worse. The rash doesn’t seem to be spreading but it’s getting harder and darker
Female | 36
Cellulitis is a skin infection that may exhibit symptoms such as redness, swellings, and pains. Sometimes, it might even make you look more like a bruiser before getting better. The treatment needs a bit of mystery, so it would be wise to give it a little time before you see the full effects. You should not forget to take them at the prescribed time and also be sure to drink enough water. If the pain becomes unbearable or you notice any other alarming symptoms, you should contact a dermatologist.

I have recurring blisters under and on the side of my foot. As one clears another few show up
Male | 35
Blisters that keep popping up could mean recurring blisters. They're small, liquid-filled pockets that repeatedly appear on feet. Tight shoes causing friction, sweat, or allergies might cause them. Wear comfy shoes to avoid them. Keep feet dry too. Use blister pads if needed. But see a dermatologist if they won't go away. They can suggest further treatment.

I have recurrent canker sores for the past 6 months, taken antibiotics and oral care but it keep coming. Please what could be the cause
Male | 34
The pesky thing is recurrent canker sores. They are small, shallow sores in your mouth. A stressor, weakness of the immune system, and certain foods can provoke them. Genetic predisposition may also be a reason why some folks are more prone to having them. To reduce pain, use over-the-counter ointments or gels that are intended for canker sores. Also, try to sail through stress and eat a healthy diet.

Sir, I want to ask about peeling oil. Does extra strong yellow peeling oil really peel the skin???
Female | 24
This product is effective in removing the skin, yet it is extremely important to be considerate. Using strong peeling oils can cause redness, burning, and even damage to the skin. These products work by peeling off the top layer of the skin, which tends to improve skin appearance, but their wrong application can cause great trouble to the user. The best way is to consult a dermatologist before using those products to prevent side effects.
