My wife is at 39th week 3 days and baby weight is 3.7 kgs and doctor ask to come for admission after 2 days. She is afraid of Having Large Baby.

Answered on 26th Sept '24
Feeling anxious is understandable, yet you're doing well! A baby weighing 3.7 kilograms at 39 weeks isn't worrisome. Larger babies might make delivery slightly challenging. However, your doctor closely monitors the situation. The suggested admission aims to ensure a smooth birthing process.

I am 22 years of age experiencing period pains but no periods
Female | 22
This can happen to some people. Usually, it is nothing to worry about. The stresses, hormonal changes, or normal body changes might be the reasons for these pains. You can try light exercise to feel better. Also, you can apply a warm compress to your lower belly or take over-the-counter pain relief medicine like ibuprofen if needed.

Hi All, I missed my periods. Today morning i checked for preganancy so it is showing result like this very very light line in left side. Is it positive or negative i am confused..?
Female | 31
The very faint line you see on the left generally means positive. This may be caused by the pregnancy hormone at a low level. The other symptoms are nausea, fatigue, and sore breasts. To establish the facts, hang on for a few days and re-take the test. You can also consult a gynecologist for confirmation.

Period issue... Postpartum pregnancy... Feeling baby movements after delivery
Female | 34
After delivery, periods will return usually within 6-12 weeks. Bleeding after delivery is normal. Breastfeeding can delay periods. It can also affect the amount of bleeding. POSTPARTUM DEPRESSION is a common issue. If you feel baby movements, see a doctor immediately.

So I have a problem because I'm on medication and ever since I started taking those tablets ,my vagina is alittle itchy ,it's soo sensitive and uncomfortable, I frequently go to the toilet and urinate alittle all the time ,I can't hold my urine and it's always too thick ,it's soo uncomfortable that I segregate myself
Female | 20
You are in the phase of having a urinary tract infection (UTI). Some of the symptoms are itch, peeing a lot, and thick urine. They may be co-induced by drugs such as an imbalance in your body's bacteria. Water is helpful if you want to get rid of the infection. Furthermore, drinking cranberry juice can be helpful if you are experiencing the symptoms. If the problem continues, it is more prudent to see a urologist for an examination.

Missed periods happen sometimes. They're not unusual and there could be several reasons. You might have been ill and taking medication. That could affect hormone levels. Or maybe you've been stressed or had weight changes. Certain medical issues may also play a part. If it doesn't come for a few weeks, see a gynecologist.

Female | 23
Abdominal pain and light bleeding are a common side effect of the medicine you took. At times, the bleeding may differ from person to person, so if it is not heavy that is fine. Just rest and keep yourself hydrated. If the bleeding stops entirely or you feel severe pain then seek medical help.

Hi I’m currently bleeding since I had intercourse at 5 weeks pregnant which was on the 11th and on the 12th I started bleeding I’m 24 years old
Female | 23
Bleeding after intimacy might seem alarming, yet often has simple causes like cervical sensitivity. Still, your well-being comes first. Promptly inform your gynecologist about any post-coital bleeding. They'll investigate potential causes and advise next steps, ensuring you and baby's safety.

I haven’t had a period within the past three months but pregnancy tests are negative I have hormones going all over the place and I’m always exhausted what’s wrong with me ?
Female | 20
You are likely showing a sign of amenorrhea, which is a condition that makes menstruation misses. There are various factors for this like stress, excessive exercise, or hormonal imbalances. The negative pregnancy tests indicate that you are not pregnant. Hormonal changes can cause fatigue. Have an in-depth conversation with a gynecologist to come up with the precise diagnosis and treatment of the issue.

Household chores after hysterectomy?
Female | 41
To start with light household chores after a hysterectomy and avoid the strenuous activities. For the first weeks, do not lift anything more than 10 pounds to avoid putting stress on this area of surgery. Reintroduce activities such as cooking or light cleaning gradually, but never bend, stretch or lift heavy weight. If you feel uncomfortable or tired, listen to your body and rest. Generally, 6 to 8 weeks after the doctor’s recommendations a gradual return to normal activities is prescribed.

I’m 23, I had my fallopian tubes removed but my period is 3 days late, is there a chance I could be pregnant even though I don’t have them
Female | 23
It is completely natural to be concerned about a late period, even after having your tubes tied. Here’s the thing though – not having a period can occur for many reasons besides being pregnant. Stress hormones changing up or certain drugs could all cause your menstrual cycle to go off kilter. Taking a test can help ease any worries so if this is something that is worrying you then go ahead and do it.

Since you have taken a pill immediately after intercourse, there might still be some chances of pregnancy. Take a home pregnancy test or a UPT for confirmation.

My question is more of a concern. I haven't seen my period in over 3 months and it's scary because I haven't had sex. I went ahead to take both the home test and visited a lab nearby for a pregnancy test and it both came out negative. Please what could be wrong? The last time I had this issue was in my 200lv when I was super stressed out due to the number of classes I had but that was years ago. I work from home so I don't really go out much and I don't even exercise so it can't be due to stress or intense exercise like I read. I'm really worried. Please help
Female | 24
Irregular periods have many causes, including the fact that you have never been sexually active and the pregnancy tests were negative. All of these factors can be stress, eating abnormalities, thyroxin problems, and hormonal disruptors. A consultation with a gynecologist is a smart option because they already know that you have some disorders and it can be helpful for your cycle regulation.

Is it normal to bleed for 15 days after first Intercourse?
Female | 19
Some blood may appear after sexual intimacy for the first time. But, heavy bleeding for fifteen full days seems unusual. This likely means an injury occurred inside the vagina, or there is an infection present. It is wise to have a gynecologist examine you thoroughly for proper treatment recommendations.

In pregnancy unripe papaya is safe ??? On which week unripe papaya is safe
Female | 19
Papaya has enzymes that can lead to contractions in the uterus, which can cause risks for pregnant women. Although ripe papaya is usually safe when eaten in small amounts, green papaya should be avoided. Having unripe papaya can thus lead to contractions and may eventually lead to some complications. It's best to opt for the fruits known to be safe during pregnancy instead of risking your health with other fruits.

The situation involves a couple who recently engaged in sexual activity on two occasions—once without a condom and later with a condom. Following this, the female partner experienced an unusual discharge after masturbating at home. About two hours after the masturbation, she noticed a long, transparent substance discharging while using the washroom. Concerned about the nature of this discharge, the couple is uncertain whether it is a normal bodily response or something that requires medical attention, leading to a suggestion to consult a doctor for clarity.
Female | 19
The clear discharge the female partner suffered from might be normal vaginal discharge. Vaginal discharge keeps the vagina healthy. It's either clear or white yet can be sleek or lumpy, often with clumps within. If the discharge, however, has a strong odor, itches, or irritates, then it could be that an infection is the reason for it. It is crucial not to overlook any other developments in addition to what has been observed. You can consult a gynecologist.
