Experiencing Pain and Itching in Intimate Area for 8-9 Days?
Pain in intimate area and itching..its frm last 8-9 days.

Gynecologist/Obstetrician
Answered on 27th Nov '24
There is a chance of it being a yeast infection which is a very common reason for this. Other causes of this could be soap, washing powders, and tight clothes. Light clothes and mild soaps are very helpful. Over-the-counter antifungal creams can be very effective if you have a yeast infection. If the symptoms still continue, then consult a gynecologist for further diagnosis and treatment.

I missed my periods and I am unmarried
Female | 18
Missing a menstrual cycle can occur due to various factors, such as stress, hormonal changes, excessive exercise, or significant weight fluctuations. It's essential to monitor any accompanying symptoms, like mood changes or physical discomfort. While this can sometimes be a normal occurrence, I recommend seeing a gynecologist for proper evaluation and to discuss your health history. They can provide personalized guidance and reassurance, helping to identify the underlying cause of your missed cycle.

Meghna, 21, had protected sex on August 10, took an emergency contraceptive, and had her period on August 19. On September 8, she noticed a small, watery discharge from her nipples, occurring only when pressed. There's no pain, but it's lasted three days. She seeks advice on whether this is normal.
Female | 21
The watery discharge of the nipples without pain can be due to hormonal changes. In some cases, the hormones from the emergency contraception may be responsible for this. It is important to watch those changes and see if they remain or not. If the discharge keeps on going or you see any other strange symptoms, it is better to consult a gynecologist for more assistance.

I normally have irregular periods and have never had sex. Lately I have missed my period for a month and a half and have fatigue, bloating and trouble catching my breath. I know the case with probably be that I am overthinking and just late on my period. But I am scared and just need confirmation from a doctor
Female | 15
Different factors may cause issues with your period, and may also be the cause. Bloating, fatigue, and difficulty with breathing are some additional symptoms of hormonal disbalances or other underlying health issues that may be found. Stress, thyroid problems, or polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) might be the underlying cause. It is important to talk to a gynecologist to get an accurate diagnosis and guidance on your problems.

Abdominal pain ho raha hai stomach me prgnecy positive ayi hai
Female | 24
Most women experience some stomach discomfort after getting pregnant. The stretching and growth of the baby within creates pressure. Additionally, trapped gas, constipation, or stretching muscles can contribute. Resting, staying hydrated, and consuming frequent small nutritious meals may help. However, avoid exerting yourself. Visit a gynecologist if bleeding occurs or if the pain intensifies severely.

I am freaking out about my chances of contracting stds. I had unprotected sex yesterday due to my bad judgement, i dont know the person sexual history. I am currently on Prep and took doxypep right after. How soon can/should I get tested?
Male | 29
If you engage in unprotected sex and you have a fear of getting STDs, you need to be examined now. It is possible that even though you are on PrEP and you have consumed Doxypep after the encounter you may still contract a sexually transmitted disease (STD). It is advisable to see a gynecologist, or a urologist for your test, and a future plan on how to protect yourself.

Female | 25
Late periods may occur since the pill can affect your cycle. Stress can also delay periods. Relax and wait a bit longer. If your period doesn’t arrive, take a pregnancy test. Many factors can cause late periods, so don’t panic!

It's understandable to feel concerned when your cycle is delayed. Various factors can influence this, including stress, hormonal changes, lifestyle alterations, or even pregnancy. Possible symptoms might include breast tenderness, mood swings, or changes in appetite. To address this situation, consider taking a home pregnancy test if there's a chance of pregnancy, or monitor your lifestyle for stressors. If your cycle remains irregular or you have additional worries, seeking advice from a gynecologist is a good option. They can offer personalized insights and support tailored to your needs.

I'm having a likoria its been 4 to 5 days
Female | 23
There is an issue where fluid comes out from the private area. This is called likoria. Some signs are colored discharge, feeling uncomfortable, and itchiness. It can stem from infections, hormonal shifts, or not keeping clean. To fix it, keep that area tidy, wear cotton underwear, and don't use scented products there. However, make sure to see a gynecologist to identify the problem and get treatment.

Female | 33
You are undergoing some pain in the lower belly and back along with white discharge. There is a possibility that these symptoms result from an infection or a problem with your reproductive organs. On the other hand, the imbalance of hormones can also lead to these issues. For a more precise diagnosis, consultation with a gynecologist is necessary. The doctor will be capable of helping you pinpoint the reason for the discomfort and suggest the best treatment course for you.

It seems unlikely that you would be pregnant if you had a period in March, April, and May after having sex on March 5th. Having regular periods indicates that you're not pregnant.

I am 22 years old female I took abortion yesterday but I did not bleed or anything I don’t know if it was successful or not what can I do
Female | 22
Not everyone’s body is built the same way; thus, the bleeding following an abortion may differ from person to person. For instance, after a successful abortion, some people might experience light bleeding, while others could have mild cramps or even pass blood clots. On the other hand, absence of bleeding does not always mean that it was not successful too. Just wait for a few more days and see if you start bleeding. Should you have any concerns or unusual signs, please consult your gynecologist.

I'm 24yrs old female with vaginal burning sensation for days Urinalysis is 25-50 pus cells, mucus thread few, protein trace
Female | 24
The urine test result shows the presence of some pus cells with a few strands of mucus and a little protein. This may be due to a urinary tract infection (UTI). UTIs are responsible for not only the burning but also frequent urination and cloudy urine. Drinking plenty of water, and following antibiotic therapy prescribed by a gynecologist can help. Also, always keep in mind to keep good hygiene habits to prevent UTIs in the future.

I had an intercourse on oct 24th which only includes anal penetration and rubbing at that region. There was no direct contact between penis and vagina. I had bleeding on Nov 8th dec 6th jan 3rd and Feb 2nd and the flow seemed to be normal. Also did a urine pregnancy test on Dec 30 showed negative results and out of my anxiety did an ultrasound scan at a clinic and they said no pregnancy is found. But I'm still anxious and can't convince my self about no pregnancy occurred. My doubt is even if there is a cryptic pregnancy and not found in tests would it have been identified in scans when done around 13 weeks after intercourse? Can it completely rule out pregnancy even in cases of retroverted uterus.
Female | 20
It's understandable to feel anxious after such experiences, but based on the information you've provided, your negative pregnancy tests and ultrasound results strongly suggest that pregnancy is highly unlikely. Bleeding episodes can occur for various reasons unrelated to pregnancy. Cryptic pregnancies are rare, and an ultrasound at 13 weeks would typically identify a pregnancy, even with a retroverted uterus. To alleviate your concerns further, consider scheduling a follow-up appointment with a gynecologist. They can provide reassurance and help address any lingering worries you may have.
