After marriage I have irregular periods and after August I haven't had my period for 3 months so my gynecologist gave me tablets for periods so I had my period in a week After that he gave progluterol metaformin tablets for get pregnancy So I have been using it for 2 months My last period was on December 27th ended After that, when we were waiting to conceive, January 18th was I had my period again We had first intercourse on the 3rd of February after my period Today is February 22 so I took a pregnancy test today morning but I got a negative result? Why?
Female | 23
A negative test doesn't mean there's trouble; it might indicate testing too soon before hormones rise detectably. Patience and perseverance are advised. Maintain an optimistic outlook, follow healthy habits, and persist in trying. If concerns persist after several months, consulting your gynecologist can provide reassurance or identify any issues needing attention.

Female | 33
Experiencing heavy flow approximately once every three weeks can be a result of a multitude of reasons and may include hormonal imbalances, thyroid problems, stress, or even PCOS. I advise a comprehensive examination and correct diagnosis from a gynecologist.

I am rly itchy (down there but like inside) and I have a smell and thick white discharge and it’s been like this for about a week
Female | 17
It seems that you’ve got a yeast infection. Yeast are small organisms that can live in warm, humid places like inside your body. The overgrowth of them is the cause of itchiness, thick white discharge, and a smell. You may experience this more after taking antibiotics or wearing tight clothes. You can get over-the-counter creams to help treat it, but if it doesn't get better, it's important to talk to a gynecologist. Besides, wearing loose cotton underwear and avoiding perfumed products can help with the prevention of these infections in the future.

My period date date is 17 may, what will be my ovulation date
Female | 33
In a normal menstrual cycle, ovulation usually occurs around 14 days before the start of your next period. Since your period date is May 17, you can estimate your potential ovulation date by subtracting around 14 days.

Pirods bahut Leta aa rahe hai or is bar blood ke sath water bhi aa raha hai
Female | 21
A lot of pain plus water coming out with blood during the period is abnormal. There’s a possibility of a hormone imbalance or an infection which is the reason. You must discuss with a gynecologist to find out the reason for your symptoms and to get the appropriate treatment.

I have a query regarding HPV tests and vaccination
Female | Jayna Bhalla
Human Papillomavirus (HPV) is a common virus and many people get affected by it and yet the symptoms often go unnoticed. It is passed most frequently by the close contact of skin with the infected area. Although some strains produce warts or tumors as a result of an unchecked infection, the vaccination is a valuable means of protection from many conditions of such kind related to HPV. Regular check-ups are the cornerstone of infection prevention. If you have any worries about your health or vaccination, I suggest you see a gynecologist.

You should visit an obstetrician/gynecologist today to determine what role the misoprostol will play in a pregnancy. It is essential to realize that the benefits of this drug may have very severe short and long-term negative impacts on both the mother and the fetus.

Am 40 weeks pg,on saturday I saw discharge with a drop of blood then later had strong braxton hicks until around 1am which disappeared until yesterday 4pm, I've seen brownish little discharge from time to time since then with little cramping, am I okay
Female | 27
Maybe you’re having some symptoms that suggest your body might be getting prepared for delivery. The blood drop could occur because your cervix is beginning to open. A brownish discharge along with cramps are normal as well since this means that your body is readying itself for birth. Make sure you rest, drink plenty of water, and watch the cramps. If you start feeling worried or cramping gets worse don’t hesitate to contact a gynecologist.

Female | 20
Your girlfriend likely can't become pregnant in this instance. For pregnancy, sperm has to enter the vagina during fertile days. Since your girlfriend wasn't ovulating then, and sperm cannot pass through clothing, the chances seem very low. You changed clothes and wiped away semen too, decreasing the likelihood further. However, if she remains concerned, your girlfriend could take a pregnancy test to ease her worries.

hey doc i have been having a pain in my outer area of vagina but i have never had sex before what could be the problem please advice
Female | 24
Nerve sensitivity might be why the pain has been occurring, which is called vulvodynia, in the area. A skin rash, an infection, or tight-fitting clothes could be among other probable culprits. To help the pain, wearing loose, cotton underwear, avoiding soaps that irritate, and using a cold compress may be soothing. The discomfort should be reported to a gynecologist if it does not go away or gets worse.

Female | 25
It's normal to wonder why is your period late. If you had sex, there's a chance you're pregnant. You might feel tired, sick, or have sore breasts because of the baby. Take a pregnancy test at home or go to a gynecologist to know for sure. It's good to confirm so you can take care of yourself right.

I have a yeast infection and have been treating it with strovid at first and now ketocon azole pill and cream but the discharge is not stopping.. What more can I do?
Female | 24
It is necessary to take into account the fact that yeast infections don’t react to the therapies in the same way for all people. Although Strovid and ketoconazole are the most popular ways to treat yeast infections, these treatments may not be for everyone. I would suggest seeking a reliable gynecologist or dermatologist.
