The redness and skin problems could be due to improper cleaning. Clean the area a bit and then rinse with water every day. Steer clear of harsh soap since it can worsen the condition. The effective care of this disease is to keep the area clean and dry. If the problem persists consult a dermatologist.

Male | 26

Psoriasis is a common disease that causes red, painful, and rough patches on the skin. It happens when the immune system goes out of control and skin cells grow too fast. A dermatologist can prescribe therapy to relieve the skin. After treatment, using creams or lotions helps reduce dryness and itching. Keeping the skin clean and well-moisturized can also help reduce discomfort.

Ingrown nail. Looking for dermatologist

Male | 23

In case of an ingrown nail, it is recommended to visit a dermatologist. They can evaluate the severity of the other ingrown nail, provide its proper care and offer treatment alternatives. In mild cases, soaking the affected area in warm water and lifting gently under the ingrown edge may work. On the contrary, in case of more severe ingrown nail or recurrent one surgical intervention is indicated. Do not try to deal with it yourself to avoid complications or infections. The healthcare professional should be consulted for proper treatment specific to your case.

Female | 19

Your scalp problem could be a medical issue that requires medical treatment. I recommend you should pay a visit to a dermatologist, who is a skin expert. They can detect the condition and recommend the medications or treatment option that should be taken. Avoid using any harsh chemicals on your scalp until you have been to a doctor.

You may have a hernia. This occurs when internals are pushed through a weak part in a muscle. Although there is no pain now, it should be examined by a doctor. They may advise treatment such as an operation to repair the damage and avoid further problems.

Iam getting pimples on my face iam using BETAMETHASONE VALERATE AND NEOMUCIN SKIN CREAM. BETNOVATE-N

Male | 14

You should think twice about using BETAMETHASONE VALERATE AND NEOMUCIN SKIN CREAM (BETNOVATE-N) for this. Although these ointments contain corticosteroids, which are known for reducing inflammation, they can exacerbate your acne in the long run because of steroid-induced rosacea or any other reason. Pores get blocked with oil, bacteria, and dead skin cells, forming pimples. To bring your skin back to normal, it would be wise to use a mild cleanser and an oil-free moisturizer. More importantly, avoid touching them at all costs.

Last night, while masturbating, i got a friction burn (of a size of pea) on my glans penis & it became reddish .... my semen came in contact with it for some minutes.... will it lead to the formation of anti sperm antibodies?

Male | 25

A friction burn on the penis head can make it red and uncomfortable, especially if semen touches it. However, the risk of developing anti-sperm antibodies from this is low. To aid healing, keep the area clean and avoid further irritation. If you notice any unusual symptoms or concerns, it's always wise to seek medical advice.

Ma'am my skin is disturbed after I got married, i don't know why my skin has lots of pimples, blackheads, dark spots and blackness all over the face, neck, almost the whole body. Kindly suggest

Female | 22

skin problems such as pimples, blackheads spots and discoloration arises from the numerous causes that includes hormonal changes, stress or habits of skincare. It is recommended to consider visiting a dermatologist in order to find out the effective cause and get personalized recommendations on how this issue should be addressed. Cleaning your face with consistent gentle cleansers and using suitable products for your skin type may help. Further, ensure to eat healthily as much, drink water adequately and also manage stress properly all for better skin care. Pick or squeeze pimples will lead to more severe scarring.

I'm 22 years old male. I have some fungal infections in my hip and my leg in almost 18+ months. I have some skin care creams but not cure

Male | 22

A persistent fungal infection is quite often the cause of discomfort, it may be accompanied by itching, redness and flaking of the skin. Among the very common causes are exposure to moisture, hot conditions, and touching surfaces that are infected with fungus. Sometimes, it is not enough to merely find an over-the-counter cream that gives you temporary relief; it can well be improved, but sometimes a total solution is still impossible. My choice is the use of complex treatments that may be also over the counter, for example, antifungal drugs given on doctor’s recommendation along with making sure cleanliness and the affected areas are kept dry. A visit to the doctor often is the time for specific ways of dealing with the situation and also for quicker management of the condition. You are not alone in it. If you are still hesitating, remember that professional help can actually solve your problems very brilliantly.
